With the injury suffered by Nkunku during a pre-season match against Dortmund a few days ago, Chelsea had to lose one of its important players for the EPL competition which will soon start in a week. Nkunku has really tested his ability by scoring goals together in the pre-season matches that have been played and of course Pochettino will be a little confused by the options available now.

Moreover, against Chelsea in the early match of the EPL later, Liverpool will certainly add to Pochettino's hard work in managing his squad. I don't think Chelsea can lose this match because they were able to prove their quality with the new squad that Pochettino has built and at least even if Chelsea can't win then they have to aim for a draw. For Nkunku, I hope this knee injury is not too bad so he can return to the field to defend Chelsea.

Alvaro Morata has been one of the most rumoured players to leave at Atletico Madrid. The rumours have been coming from everywhere like from European teams to Saudi Arabian teams. But still there is update on that lately. Felix's returning to the team has raised these rumours. Felix is also in these rumours so maybe one of these strikers can really leave before the transfer window closes.

I don't think Felix would be signed permanently considering Atletico Madrid ask too much money for his transfer fee. Maybe he would be loaned again. If he doesn't then I think Morata will be the leaving one. Maybe he would return to Italy if there is still interest from there.
Alvaro Morata's career has been very special so far, it is noted that he has defended top European clubs several times such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus and in the end he returned to Atletico. I think that at 30 years old, he is actually still quite productive as a striker and if there is an offer to return from Italy, of course it will be interesting for him to be able to return to strengthen one of the teams in that country.

On the other hand, if there is an offer from a Saudi league team, I think that is also quite good considering that so many players of his age choose to end their careers to get a large salary there. Now the decision rests with Alvaro Morata and even if he does eventually leave it will be the umpteenth time at Atletico.

Yes indeed, whatever choice Morata makes I think it will still be a good choice. Because the next decision is Atletico, whether to keep the player or Atletico will decide to sell him. But I think, if Atletico sell him then maybe Atletico can be difficult to compete well in the top four for next season. But yes, because Morata only has one season left on his contract at Atletico. So it is possible that Atletico will sell him in this transfer window of course, so that Atletico will still benefit before Morata finally has a free transfer status at the end of the season.

Losing Alvaro Morata will certainly be detrimental for Atletico, but as long as it's a decision made by the club, Alvaro Morata can't do much. I think Alvaro Morata wants to stay and wants to continue to contribute fully to the team. Even if we look at the statistics last season he scored 13 goals for Atletico in the La Liga competition, isn't that a pretty good number of goals? But indeed it seems that this will not make Atletico quickly satisfied with their performance. Indeed, if Atletico's goal is to sell him this summer then they will still get additional funds to sign the striker they want but if in the end Alvaro Morata stays until next year, then Atletico will have to bite their players' fingers and leave for free.

Here are some names of players who have reached an agreement with their new club but there is still no official announcement. I think these are some important signings for top European teams, especially from Manchester United with Rasmus Hojlund, PSG with Dembele or even Manchester City's most expensive defender in history, namely Josko Gvardiol. Apart from that, there is Frank Kessie who will eventually join a Saudi league team and there is also the Milan city duo who are also adding more ammunition to their players. But what makes me a little surprised is about the Chelsea transfer, which prefers a reserve keeper from Brighton to strengthen its squad next season and the cost is also quite expensive for a goalkeeper, which is £25m according to Fabrizio Romano's sources.

Pep Guardiola confirmed in today's press conference that Gvardiol was undergoing a medical with Manchester City. The fee agreed with RB Leipzig for the defender is understood to be €90m:

https://twitter.com/ManCity/status/1687427699424231424

It seems that Gvardiol is getting closer to his official announcement day and I hope everything goes well so that before the official competition starts all the players added this summer are already on the squad list. Meanwhile, from Manchester United, I had read earlier on Twitter that the announcement of Rasmus Hojlund as an official Red Devils player would be announced today before Manchester United's last pre-season match against RC Lens. I think the two Manchester teams made quite good transfers apart from the overpriced prices, but indeed their finances are equally good, so there are no obstacles for them as long as they are able to do so.

Two rumors came from Manchester United who are reportedly interested in Tchouameni and also Leon Goretzka. It is unlikely that Tchouameni's transfer will materialize, considering that Real Madrid really protects their players and no other team is allowed to touch him. Meanwhile, Leon Goretzka is likely a pretty good candidate for Manchester United because we know that Bayern Munich are still confused about the transfer of Harry Kane, who has not met a common ground about negotiating an expensive fee.

On the other hand, it looks like Manchester United wants to really tidy up their midfield for the better next season and therefore they still need a good midfielder in order to get the results they want. So far there has been no official offer from Manchester United for these two targeted players.

Daichi Kamada is Lazio's new recruit so far and Lazio got him on a free agent status. Daichi Kamada is a highly valued free agent and was targeted by the Milan duo but in the end he chose to join Lazio this summer. As we can see he is still undergoing medical tests and in the coming days we will see his official announcement as a Lazio player.

Since Milinkovic Savic left for the Saudi league team some time ago, indeed the Lazio midfielder position is quite empty and of course Daichi Kamada is expected to replace Milinkovic Savic's role. All the teams in Serie A are busy buying players and I hope there will be additional ammunition from Lazio later besides Daichi Kamada.

I don't remember Arsenal having any good success in the Champions League. Almost 20 years ago they played in the final against Barcelona and lost. Then a few years ago they played in the Europa League final against Chelsea and lost too. The younger the squad, the less experienced they are. So it seems to me that they will fail again this season.
I remember very well the time in the champions league final against Barcelona, but with the state of Barcelona, which was so feared by all of Europe at that time, Arsenal could not beat them. I don't think Arsenal will likely get any further than the last 16 and even so they should at least prove that what we criticize them is not true. Even if Arsenal try, they will always fail when they meet teams from other leagues such as Real Madrid, Milan, or even PSG. In addition, if Arsenal meet Manchester City in the preliminary round, it is certain that they will return home early.

Leverkusen has officially extended Xabi Alonso's contract until 2026 and this is a great appreciation for Xabi Alonso after making very significant changes with Leverkusen since last season. Maybe Leverkusen have enough concerns with this coach because so many other European teams are quite interested in him, it was even rumored that he would become Ancelotti's replacement at Real Madrid next year. However, what is clear is that with this contract renewal, Xabi Alonso's focus will be fully on the team he is building and can't wait to see Leverkusen compete again to be able to get a place in the top 4 of the standings later.

In this match Ronaldo exactly saved the team, because without that goal the team would be out of the tournament. Of course, we should have beaten Al-Shabab and quietly get out of the group, but so far it has not worked out. Nevertheless, Al Nasr played yesterday several newcomers who strengthened the game Telles, Marcelo Brozovic and Fofana. Sadio Mane has just made his debut and hasn't had much time to make an impact on the game, but I think they will all help Ronaldo and the team win soon.

The header goal not only led Al-Nassr to the next round of the Arab club champions competition, but Ronaldo also made another record with 146 headed goals in history, which was previously held by Bayern Munich legend, Gerd Müller. I don't think Ronaldo is finished until now and looks like he will continue to be motivated to set more records in the future.

Some of these European players are just waiting for the right time to find chemistry with Al-Nassr and although there is currently no full contribution to the team, I'm pretty sure they will especially Sadio Mane is expected to also score his first goal with Al-Nassr soon.

Both clubs will definitely be going all out especially for Manchester City as this could complement them in the candidate of the strongest club in England after the Treble obtained.
On the other hand Arsenal also do not want to succumb continuously after last season they must be willing to lose several times to Manchester City including the trophy that was won.

The current odds still clearly show that Manchester City are still very favorite in this match and I don't even hesitate to keep my bet on Manchester City.
What happened? even Arsenal don't deserve to win with that many odds and manchester city is back in the favor with their achievements last season. I think anything can still happen in this community shield final match because the two teams improve each other on their squad depth and I think for Arsenal they can still win this title if they don't make any mistakes.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will certainly win its 4th title if there are no problems after being left to leave by Gundogan and Mahrez. It might be quite difficult in my opinion to predict who will win but what is clear is that everyone will attack each other and be relentless in this match, so I will just take the over goal bet to be safer.
4432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 04, 2023, 08:41:44 AM
Roma haven't spent any money on a transfer fee so far in their transfers. There are only a couple of free transfers so far. Do they really plan to make do with such transfers? Because there isn't much time left for the season to start. I know that Roma can still be competitive in the European competitions they have joined with the current squad. But it isn't exactly the case as for the Serie A. They have been struggling to finish a season in top 4. I don't think the board is contented with that.

Their goal must be to join the Champions League by finishing in top 4. They might need some additions to strengthen the weakest areas to increase their chance to do that.
Maybe Roma want to save money on spending on players in the summer and it seems like Mourinho is not too hasty to get the players he wants. So far there have been several players who have been brought in at low cost and I don't think that is enough for Roma to return to Serie A competition. But that doesn't mean Roma don't want to improve their squad but there are other things we don't know about this club.

Apart from that, as long as Roma can show consistency I don't think it's a problem and maybe they won't be as bad as last season either. The target of the champions league is what the big teams want most and even though Roma can do that, sometimes in games towards the end of the season they always have difficulty maintaining their performance.
4433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 04, 2023, 07:14:10 AM
It can be said that this match was not that serious but what is clear is that both teams wanted to try new things before the competition started and Dortmund was actually quite good even though it had to end in a draw. Dortmund will still try to adapt a new strategy after next season without Bellingham being strengthened in midfield and they will definitely try to apply the new midfielder they brought in this summer to be able to produce comparable results. Besides that, I don't think Dortmund has any other problems because they always get good results in a number of games this pre-season and their last game will be against Ajax to close the pre-season.
Dortmund are a good side who specialize on scouting young talents, the problem I have with them is that they are very business oriented and sell these players more often than not. I doubt losing Jude Bellingham will be much of a problem for them because I thought the same when they sold Haaland and it turned out that they challenged Bayern Munich for the title last season. The transfer window is still open and with still time to try and find a good replacement in that position. They are already doing well in the preseason games which is a good sign.
I think Dortmund will continue to do this business and that is indeed their main goal in developing every young talent they have. I thought, is it possible that players like Haaland and Bellingham will stay if there is an offer from their dream team? most likely they will leave without coercion because it is also their goal to be able to win more titles with certainty.

But if they stay in Dortmund, of course what they want may not be achieved because Bayern Munich always dominates the Bundesliga. I think Dortmund have done a good job of always developing the talent of young players and future star players. Now their main problem is not being able to win any titles and maybe as long as the club is not in bad finances that is enough for them to prove very great without any problems that will cost them one day.

Here comes another player who decide to moved to Saudi Arabian Club that reported Barcelona player Franck Kessie has been agree moved to Al Ahli that it say Al Ahli have to spend 15 millions to gets him and Franck Kessie will gets 3 years contract duration however Franck Kessie previously was linked to Juventus but he was never interested moved to that team because Kessie hopes he can playing at Premier League and rumour is Tottenham was showing their interest to him but unfortunately Tottenham was never bid for him

At Barcelona Kessie only as reserved player and he was unable to compete for the places on starting lineup because Kessie was failed to earn Xavi trust so i have to says he has made good decision by accepting the offers from Al Ahli but since arrived to Barcelona from AC Milan Kessie was never able to performing well again and i was very curious to know whether he can reach to his top performance again at Al Ahli or not
Another European player has joined the Saudi league team and it seems that Frank Kessie is very happy with his decision to join Al-Ahli. He will be in a team with Eduardo Mendy, Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez and Saint Maximin. I don't think there is any particular reason for Frank Kessie to stay at Barcelona, moreover Xavi also doesn't ask him to stay and all decisions depend on Frank Kessie when deciding his future to the saudi league.

Maybe the lack of trust until the less playing minutes made him feel uncomfortable at Barcelona. Apart from that, maybe it's time for him to make more money in a new place, which is currently a trend for some European players to earn very large salaries. When compared to his salary at Barcelona, of course his salary now at Al-Ahli is much bigger.
4435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 04, 2023, 06:30:59 AM
In principle, I understand the rumors that Luis Enrique is already thinking of leaving the club, although only a month has passed since his appointment. Let the representatives of Paris Saint Germain refute these rumors. Instead of building a team, the head coach is now an observer in the situation with Mbappe and it is completely unclear who to bet on next season.
PSG continues to sign players this summer for the purpose to avoid a decline in performance if Kylian Mbappe decides to leave. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president, is doing all in his ability to avoid significant losses from his key players. The new manager has no plans to leave Parc des Princes anytime soon because he still has plenty of work and ambitions to complete. Luis Enrique will stay and complete the job he was assigned to do; the only hurdle Parisians face is the pending departure of their greatest player. Kylian Mbappe did not trigger any bids to leave this summer, making him a free agent next season, allowing him to depart for free without PSG gaining financially.

PSG did a good job by continuing to bring in these new players to anticipate unwanted things like you said. Mbappe's departure was what PSG feared the most, therefore they immediately moved quickly to sign Dembele. Meanwhile, Luis Enrique seems to have no problem with the departure of the PSG star player because he has started all the pre-season matches without Mbappe in the squad.

I think Enrique is ready with the consequences and will bet with the squad he has chosen now. I think all parties need to be more open-minded and not continue to depend all the circumstances of the club on one player and if Mbappe ends up leaving next year, they have to be prepared with everything and have nothing to regret.

The news of Rasmus Hojlund completing his medical ahead of a £72m move is undoubtedly a positive development for the club. The significant transfer fee indicates the club's commitment to strengthening their squad. Additionally, it presents an exciting opportunity for Rasmus Hojlund to showcase his talent and contribute to the team's success.Furthermore, it's worth highlighting the Moroccan player, Sufian Amrabat,With his skillful playstyle and dedication on the pitch,Perhaps he will be part of United's squad this season, but I'm not sure if the rumor of his move to the Red Devils is true.
Rasmus Hojlund is a striker that the Red Devils have been targeting for quite a long time since last month and they managed to get him from Atalanta at a high cost. In terms of his contribution so far with Atalanta it has been less than convincing, but it seems that Erik ten Hag has his own assessment of this Danish player.

On the other hand, the rumors you said are true, currently Manchester United is monitoring Amrabat from Fiorentina. Manchester United are also interested in signing him but they haven't started bidding yet and they will have to wait for one of their players to leave Fred or Van De Beek first so they have additional funds to be able to bring in Amrabat.

Mauricio Pochettino has shown that he has all it takes to bring Chelsea back to their best and I'm very happy to see that happen. Despite the fact that a lot of Chelsea players who were part of the squad last season left the club, Chelsea are now playing more like a team than they did they whole of last season.
Though it's still preseason games which aren't seriously contested matches but looking at the current Chelsea style of play, one can say that they'll be a threat to other English Premier League clubs next season

Currently, Chelsea is the only team that has never lost a pre-season match and everything went smoothly when Pocettino managed to change this squad for the better. I think this is the first time Chelsea have really chosen the right coach and compared to last season there is a clear difference. Pochettino managed to prove his capacity to be able to manage a big team and get the club's goal back to be able to compete with other strong teams next season. I can't wait to see Chelsea with the style of play they have shown in pre-season and at least I don't have to hesitate anymore when I want to bet on Chelsea's victory.

I can't say anything about Chelsea unless we start the next season and wait for some weeks because this changed many players and they are now using a coach which means they can change and get better form in the weeks after they have more friendly games and play some matches in the next season however Pochettino's performance in these friendly match are amazing we can even expect to see Chelsea getting back in the top of the league and race with other teams for the title.

That's right, so far Pochettino's work has gone smoothly and everything has been passed with satisfactory results. It's not easy to do a job at a big team that was at the bottom of the standings last season and Pochettino proved his capacity to be able to revive a winning mentality in this team.

Todd Boehly must be very happy with his choice this time and maybe he will give more appreciation in the form of a bonus to Pochettino if he is able to bring Chelsea to the top of the standings again. On the other hand, I was also very surprised that the sale of all the experienced players made Chelsea more free with their young squad and it is worth waiting for when the real competition starts whether these young people can do it again or not.
4438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 04, 2023, 05:56:03 AM
I think this kind of thing has happened many times and it will always generate hatred from the fans. Maybe in terms of loyalty it is considered inappropriate to imitate, but at least the player has contributed fully to the team he is defending. Sometimes players also see that the potential to win titles is much more open when joining a rival team and therefore this can be beneficial from a career perspective, but not infrequently it is sometimes not what is expected. The need to anticipate unwanted things in order to stay away from guilt after joining a rival team.
Do you guys take this issue really seriously. I think this is a form of baseless rumours I mean there is no way ac milan can afford to buy osimhen in this transfer window because Ac milan's finances are not very good in this transfer window. In my opinion, Osimhen will not go to a Serie A club if he really wants to leave Napoli, of course he will try a new challenge by joining another league, be it the Premier League or Laliga.

But so far the development of the Osimhen transfer saga has never reaped certainty because previously he had been linked with PSG, Chelsea and Manchester United but in the end none of these three teams were really serious about making an official bid to recruit Osimhen.
Maybe I don't agree when I say Milan's finances are not good because this summer they brought in more than 5 new players and it can be said that they have been able to manage their finances well so far. But if to bring in Osimhen with a market value of more than 100 million euros, I don't think they can afford to do that.

I think that instead of focusing on one player at an exorbitant price, Milan has actually improved several sides that must be addressed before the competition starts and so far everything is going according to target. Apart from that, some of the teams you mentioned have finally got the striker they want apart from the rumors that had linked Osimhen as their initial goal.
4439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 04, 2023, 05:44:36 AM
Vitor Roque isn't joining Barcelona this summer. There is already an agreement for him between sides but the transfer is going to be completed officially next summer. Besides technically Roque is a centre-forward but of course he can play as left or right winger when there is need. But the situation is like I explained now.

Maybe we won't even see Barcelona bringing someone to fill Dembele's void this summer. They might want to use the other players available in the squad who can play there as I said. But if they won't have issues with FFP I think they should bring someone.
Victor Roque can replace Dembele's role but it still takes quite a long time and at least Barcelona don't need to be confused because there is still Ansu Fati or Raphinha who can fill that position. On the other hand, it is likely that they will not add any more players to that position and if I'm not mistaken the money from selling Dembele will be allocated in part to be able to bring in Joao Cancelo from Manchester City. I think Barcelona will get Joao Cancelo easily as long as the fee offered is suitable, especially since the winter, Joao Cancelo's relationship with Pep Guardiola has been less harmonious, making his chances of leaving even greater.

Playing without benzema gave very big impact on the club. That proves that if benzema has the biggest contribution to the real madrid last season. Joselu's level is far below benzema at this moment.

Madrid shall have added new striker on its line up. The club can't only have joselu as pure centre forward. Joselu's performance in pre season was so bad.
Madrid's current advantage is in their strong midfield. but as you said their weakness is on the right wing of defence. maybe Ancelotti will make some rotations in defense to find some balance in the Madrid team.
Meanwhile, on the front lines, the loss of Benzema in the team was felt. even that was seen last season when Benzema was unable to play. Rodrygo, Vicius, and Joselu seem to have not satisfied Ancelotti. Madrid will have to find the right formation to push Joselu or Rodrygo further forward if they don't find cutting-edge attacking options this summer.
but I'd rather see the combination of Rodrygo and Vinicius upfront than Joselu there.
It looks like Lucas Vazquez is not that convincing to replace Dani Carvajal and it is very visible that Lucas Vazquez has minimal contribution opportunities when helping to carry out attacks or even for defensive matters he is always easy for opposing players to pass. Without Benzema, Real Madrid really struggled to score goals and it must be admitted that the decision to release Benzema when a replacement was not yet available was too detrimental for the team.

But Real Madrid are a big team and I'm pretty sure they will still be able to be consistent in the La Liga competition later even though the reality will be a little difficult. Vini and Rodrygo can be said to be the best at the moment for Real Madrid, but sometimes these two players feel uncomfortable because they are used to being wingers.
