Chelsea have had good form during pre-season, but that will never be the best yardstick to say they will be top of the Premier League table next season. I agree Chelsea are ready for the new season, but they don't have much confidence to lead the Premier League table from day one.

I wonder if Pochettino will be able to beat Liverpool in his first match in the Premier League with Chelsea or if Pochettino has to lose to Liverpool. Basically Liverpool have a high probability of winning the game, but who knows.

I won't expect something big from chelsea in the first week of EPL. Even though chelsea was just a few months squad but bookies have been seeing chelsea as an equal competitor for liverpool.



There's only a slight gap between chelsea's odds compared with liverpool. I think that drawing is also possible but i can't deny that if liverpool has advantage in the superiorities compared with chelsea in term of experience in EPL.
Chelsea just reforming its club and it takes time for a whole of players to get experience in the EPL. Salah must become the primary attention for chelsea. It's caused by liverpool always being dependent on him last season. I expect the same thing gonna happen in the upcoming match.

The reports about Kylian Mbappe joining Chelsea this summer doesn't look like a deal that's gonna go through considering the terms that's been stated by the player.
According to reports, Kylian Mbappe can only come to Chelsea if the London club will accept a one year contract with the club which literally means that by next summer he'll be a free agent to decide wether to continue playing for Chelsea or leave the club for free. It'll be very difficult to see big European club that'll consent to such deal for a player of Mbappe's age.

Haha as I said before there is no longer any point in linking Mbappe to the Premier League because we already know Mbappe only went to La Liga Real Madrid

Another sad news for Arsenal and Arsenal supporters as Gabriel Jesus suffers another injury problem.The Brazillian international picked up a kneel injury that requires surgery in training as they were preparing ahead of the match against Monaco,where they lifted the Emirates cup through penalties as Nketiah deputized for the injured striker.Nketiah was on the score sheet as he equalises and levelled the game 1:1.
Gabriel Jesus' injury means that Edie will be used as the striker to lead the line,or Trosard will be used to be the striker infront.Thus seems to be a bad news because when Gabriel is in the team,his contribution makes everyone better on the field.His pace and dribbling skill is very important to the team,and he will really be missed by his team mates.

I believe Arsenal can still play fantastic football without Gebriel Jesus starting because, as you mentioned, they have Nketiah, Trosard, and Folarin Balogun, even though it is unclear whether Balogun will stay with Arsenal at the start of the season.

There is nothing new in Mbappe drama since weeks now. PSG left shocked and embarrassed after his decision to not renew his contract with them. Nasser Al Khalifi will kick some of his staff apparently due of that failure.

Why he should kick some of his staffs?

I believe their club decision to renew a contract with Mbappe in the last summer with so many crazy, unbelievable terms for the player actually approved by Khalifi or even higher positioned people. He can not kick his staffs with lower positions than his and say nothing was wrong with his management and he has no responsibility.

Real Madrid want Mbappe and he wants to play with them. Real Madrid didn't offer anything yet. The other teams including Chelsea and Saudi Arabia teams are willing to bring him but he refused or didn't accept these offers. Basically the same story over and over.

Chelsea will not have chance as they will not be able to win Champions League when they are rebuilding their team. Saudi Arabia means no chance to play in Champions League and same with Chelsea in a new season too.

If Mbappe can find a club in Europe to play for them in only one season in Champions League, and will be able to move to Real Madrid after that, he will seriously consider that offer. What is such a club in Europe? I can not see it. Maybe Newcatsle Unitedbut they have yet sent good salary offer to Mbappe and transfer offer to PSG.

Todd Boehly certainly really hopes that the appointment of Pochettino as Chelsea coach will give what is expected because last season they experienced something very uncomfortable. Well, some English Premier League club might have risked doing this in the hope that Dad would like the new club and he would be happy to extend his contract, but given the unenviable fate of Paris Saint-Germain in this matter, I would categorically not recommend doing so. If you sign a player, then only in a season when the contract with PSG ends and when you can face a fair fight with Real Madrid for signing a player, and not be dependent on underhand games between PSG and Real Madrid now.

I will judge it based on the odds at the bookmakers, and of course, everyone can already guess that Manchester City are the favorites to become the team that gets the first title this season. Manchester City may not have been so good in pre-season games but I think they will play differently this time because substitutions in friendlies and main games are not the same.
Maybe Arsenal have a chance to win but the chances are not big and in my opinion, both teams will score goals in the match, and for those who want to bet the odds on Manchester City are quite interesting even though they are the favorites but we will rarely see City get the odds above 1.50 and in this game City get around 1.75, will drop in a few days but won't be much different.

Im going all over city. City's performance looks very impressive and as far as I know if there would be a lot of changes happening with manchester city. That means if the performance from city is quite stable at this moment.
City was missing guendogan caused by he leaves for the barcelona but we have kovacic. This guy was a three times UCL winner. His quality is proven far above guendogan at this moment. Im feeling so confidence if manchester city gonna win the first trophy for this season.

I have no reason to pick arsenal at this moment. Its performance was not so stable. Nothing changed from arsenal. I think that havertz will be performing worst compared with the previous match.

Mauricio Pochettino has shown that he has all it takes to bring Chelsea back to their best and I'm very happy to see that happen. Despite the fact that a lot of Chelsea players who were part of the squad last season left the club, Chelsea are now playing more like a team than they did they whole of last season.
Though it's still preseason games which aren't seriously contested matches but looking at the current Chelsea style of play, one can say that they'll be a threat to other English Premier League clubs next season

Currently, Chelsea is the only team that has never lost a pre-season match and everything went smoothly when Pocettino managed to change this squad for the better. I think this is the first time Chelsea have really chosen the right coach and compared to last season there is a clear difference. Pochettino managed to prove his capacity to be able to manage a big team and get the club's goal back to be able to compete with other strong teams next season. I can't wait to see Chelsea with the style of play they have shown in pre-season and at least I don't have to hesitate anymore when I want to bet on Chelsea's victory.

I can't say anything about Chelsea unless we start the next season and wait for some weeks because this changed many players and they are now using a coach which means they can change and get better form in the weeks after they have more friendly games and play some matches in the next season however Pochettino's performance in these friendly match are amazing we can even expect to see Chelsea getting back in the top of the league and race with other teams for the title.
  

That's right, so far Pochettino's work has gone smoothly and everything has been passed with satisfactory results. It's not easy to do a job at a big team that was at the bottom of the standings last season and Pochettino proved his capacity to be able to revive a winning mentality in this team.

Todd Boehly must be very happy with his choice this time and maybe he will give more appreciation in the form of a bonus to Pochettino if he is able to bring Chelsea to the top of the standings again. Totally agree with your opinion. Chelsea has not faced yet liverpool during the pre season match. That makes the both of clubs have equal chances to win the game. Chelsea is now different compared with last season.
I hope that there will be a huge progress to happen with chelsea. Being able to win against liverpool in opening match gonna be a very good booster to the mentality from whole of players in chelsea.

I wonder what squads gonna be used by pochettino. It looks so weird if he was not using medueke, medueke was not playing in pre season due to the injury. Chelsea has welcomed him again after he has recovered from his injury.
