4441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: October 06, 2020, 07:22:17 PM
Any updates? There only 2 weeks left until start of group stage, so I think it would be right time to open sign up for the pool. If we will start late, it would be too difficult to get decent number of players.
4442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 06, 2020, 07:11:09 PM
we can watch from tv this year.. and next year we return to stadium... dont be greed.. 0 is less than few
And what will happen next year? It's not worth to expect that virus will disappear then. Vaccine? Question is open when we will have it and how effective it will be. And now we have to learn how to live with virus around us. And I think that stadiums in current reality is far from being most dangerous places for people.

Unfortunately now again everything is moving towards the spring quarantine situation! It is possible that the Champions League will be stopped for safety reasons!
I don't think it's going to happen. UEFA and national leagues will do everything what's possible to continue season because losses during first lockown were too big for them. It's more likely that we will have many cases when games are postponed, teams forced to send their reserve team to the game or get 3:0 loss awarded. Like we saw few days ago in Juve - Napoli game.
4443  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do we have to archive only our own pages or everything we see ? on: October 05, 2020, 09:07:27 PM
You don't have to archive random posts without important post. Usually posts is archived manually here in case of possible scam attempt. User may delete post, but archived post will remain and it can be used against this user later.
There is LoyceV website where you can find archived Bitcointalk posts and much more data scrapped from Bitcointalk. But there is some more websites which aren't affiliated with Bitcointalk members like archive.is or web.archive.org which scrap whole content on internet in general.
Offcourse we should archive conten which can be useful for us somehow. Why to archive things which isn't needed for you?
4444  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin talk could fix the spam in one move....REMOVE SIGNATURE...Right?? on: October 05, 2020, 07:57:54 PM
Oh shit, here we go again. It was asked multiple times to remove signatures, but there is no signs that theymos is going to do it.
Yeah, signature campaigns cause some problems, I like how @mindrust called it - fake converstations. There is a lot of such conversations where users posting only to get paid. But now situation here isn't bad, compared with things we had before merit system. Then forum was really terrible
But I don't think that forum without signature campaigns would become perfect. It would be pretty much dead, compared with what we have now. I don't want Bitcointalk with only few active geeks. Now most forum members wear paid signatures, including some staff and biggest contributors. I doubt that they would leave Bitcointalk if signatures would be removed, but I imagine that their activity would reduce significantly. I don't think that we want to loose our most valuable members.
And signature campaigns have positive effect for Bitcoin economics, just don't know how significant it's. Bitcoin business advertise here, they get customers from Bitcointalk. Users earn Bitcoin, spend it, use advertised websites. Bitcointalk get traffic and sells ad spots, revenue is used to run website and pay staff. All involved parts get benefits.
4445  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The UK track and trace app is being used to avoid registering. on: October 05, 2020, 07:28:23 PM
Well, it's nothing new. Public sector is known for wasting money to make not effective things which often don't work properly.
Spread of virus should be stopped, but IMO apps like this one is overkill. I really don't like these "new normal" things. Offcourse, governments are saying it's made for our own security. But actually, it kills our privacy completely.
And some restrictions in UK looks really ridiculous. You can watch football in crowded pub, full of drunk people, but you aren't allowed to visit stadium and watch football there while keeping social distancing.
4446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 05, 2020, 07:10:42 PM
@4.20 was a good odd though for those who bet on the tie.
Did you made bet on draw? Because it's easy to tell that it was good choice when event already ended Smiley.

The first serious test of Barcelona and immediately a misfire. Let's hope that Barcelona will pick up speed and it will take a couple of games for the players to get used to each other.
Wouldn't call it misfire. It's current reality, Barca and Sevilla is similar level teams now. We didn't played bad, but weren't better than opponents.
I would say that bigger problem that Barcelona have €488 million debt, it was announced today. €0.5 billion, Carl!
4447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2020, 08:08:22 PM
Aston Villa 7:2 Liverpool - is that real life? I'm watching my Barca game right now, so I don't see what's going on there. But I really regret that I didn't watched this game. When I saw result on Flashcore, I thought that my eyes are lying and that Liverpool is actually leading. It's probably their biggest defeat in EPL.
This EPL is such crazy, so many unbeleavable results. It's pure gold mine for bookmakers.
I see that @rdbase predicted Spurs win 5:4 over MU. I'm wondering, was it intentional prediction or typing mistake? Cheesy
4448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2020, 06:39:26 PM
Yes, UEFA has already confirmed the news: https://twitter.com/UEFA/status/1311707243251892226
Why are governments afraid to let people into stadiums?
Probably because the fans are very difficult to control, unlike the customers in the store.
It is very difficult to count the number of people in a stadium.
Also this number is huge compared to people who visit stores and the hours that they are staying the one next to the other is very long. Stadiums might be open to spectators only if there are two seats difference between each other.
Offcourse, I'm not talking about full stadiums, there is rio risk IMO if there will be 10k spectators in stadium which can hold 50k people. It make big distance between people, not like in supermarkets where it's not that easy to keep 1-2 metres distance. And I don't think it's difficult to control fans. Tickets are sold online and you must show your full name - it's like KYC. It makes tracking of contacts very easy if one of few of spectators got Covid.
4449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2020, 06:26:23 PM
I also didn't watched Atletico game yesterday, didn't bet on it too. Yes, it's Atletico, but I still can't understand how team with forwards like Suarez, Costa and Felix can't score in 180 minutes.
Terrible round for me, just 1.5 so far, but now I get exact score in Cadiz - Granada game. Can't wait for Barca - Sevilla game. Don't know about others, but I feel confident about our win tonight.
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2020, 06:01:42 PM
I'm actually surprised no one has picked Sassuolo to score over 2 goals, they are like a mini-version of Atalanta, putting goals in bunches.
Well, my knowledge about Serie A isn't good enought to know it, I haven't saw many Sassuolo games.

It won't be postponed! Napoli will be handed a 3-0 defeat if they don't show up for the match tonight. Anyone picked 2-0/3-0 Juve, congrats.
Oh, that's strict rules. So, now I have no other choice than change my prediction to 3:0. Initially I had 1:1 draw
If Google translate don't lie, Napoli press officer already confirmed that team didn't travelled to Torino:
https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Juventus/04-10-2020/juve-napoli-rinviata-diretta-live-3802517189331.shtml
Meanwhile Juve just announced their starting squad:

4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 03, 2020, 11:29:20 PM
Hey, you never know. I'm looking forward to at least 3 1-1s for this round. I'm actually picking a Juventus loss otherwise, but judging from last night's narrow 1-2 result, I might get some joy after all. I'll definitely be rubbing it all in your face by Monday =p

Croatians are fcking me up in all Superbru leagues haha.
Unfortunately, it seems that Juve - Napoli game will be postponed. Napoli have few actived Covid cases and local authority banned team from travelling to game. Last weeken Napoli played with Genoa, where big Covid-19 outbreak happened.
4452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 03, 2020, 11:21:56 PM
So, Real Betis took a lead in La Liga. Offcourse, it's not worth to pay much attention to it because favorites have 1-2 games in advance. Valencia played really bad tonight, but as I said multiple times already, I don't have big expectations about them.
Atletico continue to do what they know best - play boring football. Another goaless draw and just 1 shot on target.

The 1st game for Juve is obvious at home with the Barca double game.
Uefa wants 10k people at the stadium and looking at the situation Italy is the only place where we MAYBE have this number.

But the situation is worsening day after day here too so it will probably end with no people at stadium
Correct me if I'm wrong, but UEFA allowed to fill 30% from stadium capacity in all their international tournaments. But local governments have final decision. For example, if in Germany or Netherlands fans are allowed to visit stadiums, in England games will be played without fans, despite UEFA permission.
But I'm not sure why governments are so afraid to let fans to watch football. In current reality stadiums is much safer place than supermarket, public transport or pub.
4454  Economy / Services / Re: Best signature campaign Managers on: October 02, 2020, 11:50:38 PM
I suggest managing your own signature campaign. Why outsource it? It's simple enough, choose high quality applicants based on their posting history, merit history, reputation, and sections they usually post in...

After that, it takes around 1-2 minutes per person per week to check their posts and a few minutes more to initiate a batch transaction.

Be efficient and keep it in house and funnel that money back into your signature campaign to keep it running longer.
It's an option if you want to save some money, but I think it would be best to let professionals to do their job. There is not so many successful campaigns managed by someone from that project. While we have enough bad examples. I think that for someone who is new to this forum and not very familiar with things here like merit, reputation, burst posting and etc, it may be difficult to manage campaign and choose best posters

OP, I vouch for Hhampuz, but if you want to check and compare available managers, you can check link posted by @BitcoinGirl.Club
4455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 02, 2020, 11:18:40 PM
It's really sad to see Honda going out of F1 again. Especially now when they started to make really good engines compared to what Mclaren had few years ago. And now Red Bull are in very complicated situation. They don't have any other option than Renault. We all know how they divorced, so it will be interesting to watch how they will work together again.
Or a new Factory engine from Porsche (not TAG), the rumors have been around for a long time but is at the Corona time the right step?

Older article: https://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/a27678359/porsche-2021-f1-engine/

Newer article (But only in German): https://www.tz.de/sport/formel-1/formel-1-porsche-einstieg-vw-domenicali-schumacher-auto-mercedes-spekulation-90054501.html
Porsche is possible option, but I think it won't happen before 2026 when there will be new engine rules. Until then it's not likely that new manufacturers will come to F1, Ross Brawn said it few months ago.

If I can remember correctly a few years ago Ferrari was already near to selling engines to Ferrari Red Bull before Honda.
FTFY Wink.
4456  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump has Coronavirus :( on: October 02, 2020, 09:51:59 AM
maybe they will postpone elections, do not know about the procedure, but that seems as rational idea, and probably there is some clause that "due to higher cause" elections could be postponed by month/two, and until then everything will probably be back to normal
Fact that Trump got Covid-19 isn't a reason to postpone election. After all, this virus isn't death sentence, especially if it's asymptomatic case. Elections should be held on time because it's not likely that everything will back to normal in upcoming month or two.

Anyone watched this episode of Simpsons? Not sure if this is true but it is not funny neither. Sad

Trump is not our president but it is not a laughing matter. Hope he and his wife gets well soon.

Barca won against Celta 3:0. In recent years Celta at home were very difficult opponent for Barca, but today we had very good game. We dominated tonight even in 2nd half when we had only 10 men on pitch. Coutinho finally showing why he was bought. Actually, when he was loaned to Bayern, I didn't believed that I will see him in Barcelona squad again. Another great game for Ansu Fat.
Didn't watched the game, but it's impressive that Cadiz with 2 red cards and just 1 shot on target managed to beat Athletic. I looked at stats - seems that Athletic didn't found ways how to score against parked bus Smiley.
4458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 01, 2020, 10:21:59 PM
My thoughts about every group
A - No questions about Bayern, then it goes Atletico, Salzburg and Krasnodar.
B - Real vs Inter will be interesting, while Shakhtar and Borussia will have to fight for 3rd place.
C - Easy for Man City, while 3 remaining teams probably is in similar level.
D - Liverpool - Atalanta should be great game, I don't see Ajax going going further.
E - Sevilla probably won't have chance to defend Europa league trophy this year, they will go further with Chelsea. Rennes and Krasnodar will fight for Europa league spot.
F - Dortmund is heavy favorites here, while remaining teams is more or less similar level.
G - No questions about Barca and Juve, while Dynamo Kyiv is 3rd best team here.
H - Best group IMO. I feel sorry for Başakşehir, but I think they won't end without points in this group.
Juventus vs Barca, CR7 vs Messi is the best thing we can have for the sport  Wink
Who knows, maybe it will be one of the last chances to see them playing against each other.
4459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: October 01, 2020, 09:59:07 PM
Rio Ave were seconds away from group stage, but they managed to get very stupid penalty on last Milan attack and Milan equalised score. And then what a crazy penalty shootout it was - I can't describe it, you simply must see it. One of the best things I saw recently. And after 24 penalties made by both teams, Milan goes to group stage.
There was quite a lot uipsets like Rijeka win against Copenhagen - congrats to Croatian folks there, you will have 2 teams in group stage.
CSKA Sofia win against Basel and Hapoel Beer Sheva wins against Plzen is also unexpected. It wasn't profitable day for me.
Also, congrats to @efialtis for AEK win Wink.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: October 01, 2020, 10:00:33 AM
Uefa Europa League games are back today and there are 21 games from which I think there is money to be made by choosing 2-4 stronger teams, teams that has clear differences with each other in players quality.Of course I also think surprises are going to happen so we must choose carefully.

If you want advice, try to bet against Dinamo in a match with Flora  Grin
Dinamo are a big favourite by name and reputation but a lot of things don't work at the club, the atmosphere is bad and I think there could be a surprise in this match.

No way that will bet against Dinamo. I saw how Flora is playing and I got bad impression. They only reached this round because they got very weak opponents in previous rounds.
@casperBGD, your picks looks good, but I tend to stay away from Scottish teams in UEFA competition.
I'm going tonight with single bets on Ludogorets, Milan and Basel. Maybe ST Liege too, still not decided.
If you're looking for upset, I think it's worth to pay attention to Dundalk - Klaksvik game. Yeah, Klaksvik is from Faroe Islands, but they trashed their opponent s in previoys round 6:1. Meanwhile I can't remember Irish team playing in Europa league.
@efialtis, good luck tonight! I don't think AEK win tonight would be miracle. You have interesting team with good manager.
