I agree with you, all the groups are quite homogeneous, but as an Inter fan I don't think he will finish first in his group, Real Madrid are very strong and it will not be easy to win the double clash against them. but we will see and I hope that Inter arrive as far as possible
i dont like inter.. not so much the players or the coach, it's a club with a wrong mentality .. a mentality I buy everything and it doesn't work like that in my opinion the best thing to do is to build (starting from the Primavera team) I do not completely agree with you, it is true that in the past Inter have spent a lot and received little ... mostly due to the incompetence of some managers of the past, but it is also true that they also had strong players coming from spring, practical example Obafemi Martins, Santon. but he made the best deals by selling other young people to get champions, like selling Bonucci to have Milito and Thiago Motta, we won everything that could be won

But the sum of their arrivals and departures is considerable. 31 new players were bought and 29 players were sold. In contrast to Munich, Liverpool and Manchester, this is really a lot. https://www.transfermarkt.com/inter-milan/transferrekorde/verein/46/plus/0/galerie/0?saison_id=2020&pos=&detailpos=&altersklasse=&w_s=

That's quite a lot as per transfers in the Inter Milan team and they aren't doing badly to me. A mean, their last game against benevento ended in a 2-5 win for Inter Milan, securing their 3points and maintaining the third position on the league table. That's not bad at all. Considering the influx of players in and out of the team with regards to transfers, a lot of teams would have had understanding issues before measuring up in the games.

I think this year Uefa Champions League will even more beautiful to watch than it usually is in the group stages because of the awesome draw that has put many strong teams in the same group like Real Madrid and Inter in one group,Juventus and Barcelona in one group and so on.Lastly I am impressed with Ferencvaros making it to the group stage.
They seem much more balanced than last time. Two of the top teams would advance to knockout round and it's largely predictable which would be those team in most of the groups. Though the large team clashing early are would be entertaining to watch as they might even get a second chance to play with one another in knock out stage. Things do remains dynamic in football but there a lesser interval between the last finals and this one. And in my opinion, Munich and PSG would still be the strongest for the tournament.

Really good groups have been drawn and there will be a lot of nice matches and I can already see potential upsets and dark horses. The most interesting group will be group D for me with Atalanta, Liverpool, Ajax and Midtjylland.
This group will be crazy one for sure, every match over 2.5 goals by a mile from my perspective and lots of potential surprising results on the horizon. i won't be surprised to see Liverpool lose few matches at all.

Source: https://twitter.com/GiovaAlbanese/status/1312107485965152256The 1st game for Juve is obvious at home with the Barca double game. Uefa wants 10k people at the stadium and looking at the situation Italy is the only place where we MAYBE have this number. But the situation is worsening day after day here too so it will probably end with no people at stadium

Correct me if I'm wrong, but UEFA allowed to fill 30% from stadium capacity in all their international tournaments. But local governments have final decision. For example, if in Germany or Netherlands fans are allowed to visit stadiums, in England games will be played without fans, despite UEFA permission. But I'm not sure why governments are so afraid to let fans to watch football. In current reality stadiums is much safer place than supermarket, public transport or pub.

Stadiums might be open to spectators only if there are two seats difference between each other.

Yeah that's one of the reasons. I searched for few UK stadium max capacity and found it around 50k, that's mean approximately 15k spectators could attend the game. It is a big space indeed but those people aren't leaving around the stadium, they will come from everywhere, there might be pression in transport, gathering downtown and outside of the stadium, at the entry, exit spots but also at stairs... It requires a lot of efforts and diversion of additional staff to ensure specs respecting social distancing... I think starting with 1-5k then increase the number every week should be discussed and allowed!

This is probably also the biggest problem. I can remember a football match in Germany. After their own team won and the team went to the fan curve, the social distance from the fans in the fan curve was over.

After their own team won and the team went to the fan curve, the social distance from the fans in the fan curve was over. This is a really serious problem and I have a feeling that the fans, except in very limited numbers and not everywhere, will not return to the stadiums for a long time. I’m actually sorry about that because when I watch a game without a spectator it really looks sad and empty, there’s no real atmosphere. The financial losses of the clubs are already very high and in the lower leagues the clubs have already been brought to bankruptcy, and this is becoming an increasingly serious problem. Nevertheless, this UEFA decision gives hope for at least a partial return of fans to the stadiums and the return of a real football atmosphere.

Offcourse, I'm not talking about full stadiums, there is rio risk IMO if there will be 10k spectators in stadium which can hold 50k people. It make big distance between people, not like in supermarkets where it's not that easy to keep 1-2 metres distance. And I don't think it's difficult to control fans. Tickets are sold online and you must show your full name - it's like KYC. It makes tracking of contacts very easy if one of few of spectators got Covid.

Are you Italian, are they letting fans into games in Italy? Atalanta are a good team but your team Liverpool will be too strong for all the teams in that group. Ajax are not the team they were two seasons ago, bigger clubs have taken their best players.
Hey man, sorry I missed it. Don't really check forum that much during the weekends. I'm from Croatia and Bergamo is close enough for a road trip. I went to Udine a few years back, went to Florence for the CL game 10+ years ago. I think I won't be able to travel (the game will probably be played without fans or with limited crowds so getting a ticket won't be possible), but I'm tracking it closely

Yes indeed, for Europe this is still very possible. Supporters can be fair with the results of the matches both losers and winners. However, 10K, even though inside the stadium can be controlled, what about when they are outside the stadium, can they keep their distance? So, I think the people themselves will avoid coming to the stadium for their personal health.

we need to keep people off of stadium if people go ill... someone start to say.. close all games, close all competitions is very stupid idea we can watch from tv this year.. and next year we return to stadium... dont be greed.. 0 is less than few

Unfortunately now again everything is moving towards the spring quarantine situation! It is possible that the Champions League will be stopped for safety reasons!
In trying to relax the rules of safety so the rest of the world could return to it's normalcy, the issue with the Covid19 pandemic seem to have spring up again, coursing same discrepancies as before though, to a limited extent with lots of safety measures already in place in contrast to the time before hand. It's very unlikely to have occured just as the rest of soccer fans were expecting a reopening of the stadium for fans participation in the games as the infection is band to spread due to the activities of fans which is emotionally based on their prospective teams performance and could be rather uncontrollable. Hence, the later could result in a closer of the games till it's most likely that the safety quota is high and a prominent solution put in place. So, for the love of the games/UCL, let's endure a lot more by staying at home.
