~
Yep, and this is another example of the huge clash of cultures here on bitcointalk.  The people who use "sir" when applying for a sig campaign or asking for their well-deserved feedback to be removed are not just being polite.  They will say anything to get a spot in that campaign or to get a red trust rescinded, and the constant "sir" is just an extension of being disingenuous.
~
That is much, much different than what we usually see on bitcointalk--and no matter how many times this gets pointed out, they still keep writing it.
It is likely that I expressed my ideas not good enough, but my original ideas are the same as of The Pharmacist.
Users in the forum, especially lower-ranked ones, tend to over-use "Sir, Mr., etc" as the way they thought effectively to beg for merits, campaigns, etc.

I don't see reasons to call someone I don't know, have not met before in real-life situation with Sir, Mr., etc.
4462  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: when to get merit? on: June 18, 2018, 12:49:35 PM
Hi! I have been active for over 3 months, but I do not know how to get merit, I do not know much, so how do I contribute information to everyone
You should stop asking for merit, creating threads with merit word, stop thinking about merit when you compose your threads.
However, as others pinpointed that your post history shows low quality threads, which will never help you to get  merits.
Instead of focusing on joining bounties, you should stop doing this and spend your time to find helpful topics, threads from Jet Cash, iasenko, mdayonliner, TMAN, etc.
Learn from them, apply their tutorials, then compose your better threads. Eventually, merits will come someday.
4463  Other / Meta / Re: Ask? How if we dont have merit? on: June 18, 2018, 12:12:48 PM
Sorry, I am wrong!
Thanks for your recommendation.
Please note that "actmyname" isn't usually spelled "OmegaStarScream".

However, if you feel that I am too bad to help others and my threads don't deserve your time to read, you can put me into your Ignore List.
Honestly, I don't want to see such agorant thread like yours.
Your words sound like you are the most important member in the forum, and you have rights to yell at anyone else in the forum.
It's better if you create "The Pharmacist board", in which you can find only members who can speak the same language as yours.
Quote
This thread is a load of derp.  I have a bunch of Mexican neighbors, and they're outside right now slaughtering a chicken for some weird Santeria ritual.  Do you think I'm going to go hang out with them?  Hell no, I prefer to hang out with folks who can speak the same language I speak.  90% of fools in this thread need to go find the local boards.  Apply to be a merit source if it's that fucking important to you.
4464  Other / Meta / Re: Its just a Question sir! on: June 18, 2018, 12:07:29 PM
Can I have a question sir? example if  I did not got the requirements merit to rank up  for a long time, may I ask if there are any exception of this system, example 10 years of trying to earn merit to rank up  by just making good quality post will be converted to minimum requirement merit to rank up, its that possible or there is no any exception for this new system ? Thank you for your response sir.
Honestly, I can not understand what you wrote because your English-broken thread.
Instead of composing such pseudo-English thread like this, you should spend your time to learn English.
Here is link to my collections on English texbooks (both grammar and vocabulary in use).
tbct_mt2's Guideline on some forum functions, English texbooks
Learn English, improve your skills, particularly writing and reading ones first, then come back.
Please remember that you should only compose a thread if you have something to discuss.

Bonus:
I suggest you stop calling anyone else in the forum with Sir, Mr., etc. because these words show that you are from third world.
4465  Other / Meta / Re: Ask? How if we dont have merit? on: June 17, 2018, 11:06:33 PM
Yeah, as actmyname wrote, you should post in your localboard first.
If you're not good at English, post in your localboard with your native language.

Additionally, during your time you spend in both the forum and crypto ecosystem, you should find and read these helpful topics on English (grammar, vocabulary in use) and Guides on forum functions, tips to get merits, etc.

Rule #1: Never mention about merit in your threads.
Rule #2: Never mention about merit in your topics.
Rule #3: Never feel down, dissapointed when merit have not come to your account.
Rule #4: Never pay your attention on your merits, your rank.
Rule #5: Keep learning, keep composing constructive threads/ topics, merits will come someday. (this is very common recommendations in the forum after the launch day of merit system and new rank requirements, so I believe you feel tired with it  Grin)
4467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I get Merit? on: June 17, 2018, 04:28:54 PM
Magic tip for you to get merits is stop asking anything about merit!  Grin

Instead, spending your time to read helpful topics, which I presented in my another thread in another topic. You can get them and my recommendations via the following link:

4468  Other / Meta / Re: What does a Jr. Member do? on: June 17, 2018, 04:24:21 PM
I thank you for the advices
You are welcome!
Nevertheless, I think that it's right time for you to lock the topic because it seems that you got enough recommendations.
For now, you should start improving yourself.
4469  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 17, 2018, 02:28:07 AM
I am a junior member and have all the criteria to have member rank but merit becomes a limiting factor, so merit should be given by forum after getting confirmation that the user is not a spammer..... In short upgrade the rank
Lol, so which suggestions you can propose to identify someone who are not spammer?  Roll Eyes
Your words are likely merit-begging ones.

More importantly, not spammers don't mean that those ones are constructive users.
The main purposes of merit system are letting spammers stucked at low ranks, and motivate users in the forum be more constructive because due to effects of the system, mostly constructive users can rank up when collecting enough merits through their constructive works.
4470  Other / Meta / Re: Let's Ban Gambling Signatures/ Advertising on: June 16, 2018, 09:10:28 AM
Those who want to ban bitcoin use the same reasoning: bitcoin can lead to drug trafficking and other crimes, so, ban bitcoin.
Banning websites, forums, which have spread information of bitcoin and advestiments on gambling using bitcoin, like BTT forum.  Roll Eyes
4471  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO GET ACTIVITY POINTS HERE?? on: June 16, 2018, 04:33:33 AM
Why not locking your topic, john2019?
I believe you have gotten enough answers from forum users.
I also put you to my Ignore list due to your spamming efforts with two almost the same topics.  Roll Eyes
You will never have chances to hurt my eyes and my fingers with your shitshows.
4472  Other / Meta / Re: Let's Ban Gambling Signatures/ Advertising on: June 16, 2018, 04:28:05 AM
Gambling does definitely not violate human morality.
Here on bitcointalk we should strive to be a place of integrity and high morals.
Everyone are equals in terms of their rights to choose joining gambling sites or not. No one can force them to do this.
Quote
We should  protect these newcomers and not expose them to gambling websites.

No thanks.
Quote
I will be starting a petition to ban all gambling advertising, gambling boards, and gambling discussion to be completely removed on bitcointalk.

BTT has always been a safe place if users have enough experiences, be smart, be patient. No one, including Theymos can protect them from potential threads, only they can do this.
Quote
Let's make this a safe place for new users and people with low IQ that don't understand odds and how the house will always win in the end.
4473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5 tips for signature campaigns on: June 15, 2018, 04:17:38 AM
Spending several minutes to read whole two pages of the topic, honestly, I think this is right time for the topic's creator to lock the topic.
It is mainly because the topic is likely un-necessary one, and most of threads till now contributed nothing interesting.  Grin

Locking the topic will help to prevent spammers, account farmers, shitty posters join and show their shits here.
4474  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 15, 2018, 04:07:06 AM
This is very impressive and brilliant idea because  we cannot get merit if our post or reply are not constructive and not helpful to the thread starter. I feel like adventure to this system finding some way's to have some merit. I would like to say thank you for Sir mprep because of him I read this thread and the rules of this site.
Please stop such non-sense threads, instead using your time to read more, and come back when you have something important, valuable to show.
In addition, you should forget about merits when thinking of whether you should compose new threads or not.
Thinking continuously about merits will hamper your flow of ideas, let you stucked in merit-begging pool of ideas.
4475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DIGIWAGE (WAGE) | POS | MASTERNODE | FREELANCE WORKPLACE |NO ICO on: June 14, 2018, 11:00:25 AM
I once again repeat that at this forum SPAM is officially prohibited by the rules.
Spamming and burst-posting are almost the same, and most of campaigns managed by good, experienced managers will certainly not accept burst posting as same as spamming.
You should search yahoo62278 and his managed campaigns for more case studies.

However, I am not sure whether the rules of Digiwage signature campaign has mentioned about burstposting or not.
Personally, JanpriX made good management for Digiwage campaigns by reject payments for you.
At any odds, I don't think you should complain about this. Let's take this one as your experience for next campaigns you join.
4476  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 13, 2018, 02:57:09 PM
a question that I do not find information. to be able to add images in a post that I should have rank?
Of course, you can't at the moment.
Only Junior Member rank and above can display their attached images in their threads. For now, you can add links to your images, but they will not appear ATM, and will be automatically appear immediately in your threads later when you ranked up to Junior member rank.

You should read the topic, which created by Lauda to give newbies basic stuffs of the forum.

Next times, when you want to find out something new for you, you should use the search function of BTT forum first.
After that, if you can not find available answers for your question, you should start a new topic to ask for help.

4478  Other / Meta / Re: How to Become Signature Master in 12 Hours. I did it, so can you. on: June 13, 2018, 02:40:39 PM
Lol, amazing.
I knew about BBCode lesson series for a long time, but I am too lazy to learn because I think it is too complicated to learn from almost zero.
From your shared experiences, I have more motivations to learn BBCode lesson series, and might start designing my own signature codes some day.
You have actually gone far away from those available essential lessons on BBcodes.

Hope that I will be ranked up to Senior Member rank at the day I finish all BBcodes lessons.
4479  Other / Meta / Re: What does a Jr. Member do? on: June 13, 2018, 01:51:42 AM
Good to see your started (almost started) your life in BTT forum with such interesting question.
However, it seems that you have several misunderstandings about what you should do in the forum, mate.

Never should do like this.
The main reasons are:
- Joining signature campaigns almost immediately after joining the forum might lead you to totally wrong directions.
There are hundreds or thousands of bounty campaigns in the forum (some of them available for newbies or Junior members), but the bounty space are abundant with shit posts, with totally shitshows from farming accounts, and you might never learn any valuable stuffs in those topics.
- One of side effects is you might fall into wrong approach, become familiar with shitshows, and changed gradually to be one of shitposters.
1. Join Signature Campaign

This point is right! I also strongly recommend you to spend your time to read those very helpful, informative topics:
1) [Tips] Guide for forum search
2) Newbies – Read before posting (Lauda)
3) TMAN's guide to getting merits
4) Full Member thanks to merit system (iasenko)
5) tbct_mt2's Guideline on some forum functions, English texbooks
(in which I give links to my other three helpful topics)

Read them, learn from them, improve yourself and rank up. After having more knowledge, skills, ranked up to higher level. It is right time for you to join campaigns in the forum. Please remember don't forget to keep your contributions in the forum through your high-qualitied threads/ topics.
Quote
2. Keep reading and posting good threads

Of course, it is really good if you find them (abusers)  by chance and report them to admin or moderators of the forum.
Nevertheless, I don't recommend you to spend all or most of your time in the forum to find them. It doesn't make sense.
Instead, you should spend all or most of your time to do the first step I mentioned above.
Quote
3. Investigate spammers and  merit farming then report them

Important recommendations for all forum newcomers:
Never beg for merits, beg for campaigns/ bounties!
4480  Other / Off-topic / Re: Collections for someone who would like to improve English skills on: June 12, 2018, 03:05:18 PM
Thanks for your compliments.
What a helpful collections, especially for non-native English speakers! I would prefer to start with those collections on English Grammar in use, which might help me to express my ideas more correctly, easier to understand for readers. Thanks for your initiatives.

Glad to help. Of course, you can share my collections with someone who need them.
This is a good collection of learning materials. Thanks for the effort. I will suggest it also other members of forum.
