4466  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: NASDQ dando participación a Bitcoin y Crypto! on: September 13, 2019, 05:16:34 PM

Grin

...

Thanks for the shout out. Like I said, I hope to have better watching material after the first videos.

Clues are all around :-)

The idea about promote a youtube channel with bitcoin giveaways isn't bad at all, we love giveaways, sometimes i make some of them in the Spanish section. But i think for this one we don't have the right clues to solve it, we don-t even know what part of the privatekey is scrambled... if you could tell us the number of characters who aren't scrambled that would be a good hint.

But puzzles are this way, i will wait until OP gives more hints to try to solve it, with the actual information is impossible, other way someone should already found that privatekey.
4468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 11, 2019, 05:13:23 AM
Im not sure why anyone would waste their time pretending to make a puzzle to give away bitcoin? But. I understand the skepticism ... Just here for fun and education.
Well, yeah, it's all for fun.

I did. Here you go!
Sign verified and this confirms that you are not wasting anyone's time. Sorry that you had to go through this. Reality is that there are a lot of fake people around here who aim to waste the time of the forum users.

Good luck with the project bud.

Thanks now lets focus in the puzzle, 0.024btc are good motivation to find that privatekey, as hint we know the key start with 5, so we can take that number out of the line and permute the other characters, i think for a moment it could be done with some bruteforce but crunch say we need 8876PB for this, so, by brute force isn't an option:

Code:
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ crunch 1 1 -p MBfrbCq7yfvVDT2xrpfmZ4KWTNpbXJgdYHzWG8t19yMbUvsP9vK
Crunch will now generate approximately the following amount of data: 9994050523088551936 bytes
9531069300736 MB
9307684864 GB
9089536 TB
8876 PB
Crunch will now generate the following number of lines: 18284192274659147776
4469  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: September 11, 2019, 04:23:51 AM
I have been a newbie for so long now it's almost a year,
Some help me get merit and upgrade
you are really a strange member, if I give merit to you then I am considered a con artist.
how could anyone dare to take that risk, there are several ways to get merit, at least be involved in scientific discussions in the forum and provide useful opinions.

Scientific discussions... now we know where are the merit sources.  Tongue

The right way to get merits is by the quality of your posts, if you don't share your knowledge with the system you will not get merits at all. Bring some good quality posts, a good lecture to the users and voila, there you will get them.
4470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good bitcoin poker sites on: September 11, 2019, 04:10:33 AM
Most btc poker sites with very little traffic unfortunately... I have also been searching  for one but for now continue playing poker at Stars...

I have to agree with you, the traffic of pure bitcoin poker site is still low compared to fiat based poker sites. I do not know why but I see it as a fact.

i think its because crypto such as btc are still kinda new to some and they are still feeling abit nervous if they will use it or not so they still prefer fiat  .

but why btc poker sites do only have a little traffic while other casino type gambling such as dice , blackjack and roullete has alot of traffic or players  ? poker is supposed to be more popular than them  .  stake and 777 coin is few of the site that i know that has a poker ( video poker ) , why dont you check those out @op ?

I don't think @OP is looking for video poker, like most poker players, he is almost certainly looking for PVP Hold 'em.

Too bad there aren't any reputable platforms at the moment  Embarrassed

The problem about online poker is the engine on the backend, the dealer is part of this engine, so, a poker site can be easily rigged. This is why there are some "good trust" poker agents, like cubeia or poker mavens... Nitro uses cubeia, but that poker engine gets filled with bots and multi-accounts, and poker mavens is some old software, so, it's hard to really trust in poker online.

If you want to play nowadays i can recommend only two sites, the first one is for doge and the second one is for btc, i have done withdrawals from both without problems:

4471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott the Facebook Coin (Project Libra)? on: September 11, 2019, 12:13:01 AM
Do you really think we could boycott Libra? you must understand it's our of our hands, since it's not an opensource project and a centralized coin then to boycott them is not even an option...

But as good news for you, they will boycott themselves, i read some news about people start scamming other people in the same platform to sell them fake Libras, lol.
4472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: September 11, 2019, 12:03:38 AM
Before becoming a bitcoiner i only know bitcoin was digital money, i used to think it was just like PayPal and of course i was wrong, it's far away from paypal, i was right in the idea about digital money but when i understand it is a decentralized project i decide to fully understand what is this all about. and at the end, i fall in love with the idea behind bitcoin, the beauty behind its logic got me.
4473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 10, 2019, 11:50:14 PM
Don't know if this one is legit yet it do give out scrambled privatekey but it isn't bad to try out though for that balance.Good luck to us!

Its legit! Im hoping to help new users get accustomed to Bitcoin and a few of the ins and outs. The best way to do it is to offer BTC prizes :-)

Good luck

You could make public the bitcoin address of the scrambled private key, that way people will believe about this is a legit giveaway. Can you tell us how much bitcoin you will giveaway?

This is the scrambled private key M5BfrbCq7yfvVDT2xrpfmZ4KWTNpbXJgdYHzWG8t19yMbUvsP9vK and the possibility to find the right PK is 52! (factorial) = 8.0658175e+67, so, i will keep an eye on the video trying to get the right hints to solve this.
4474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 10, 2019, 11:26:39 PM
Gambling won't be dirty if you've played it fairly without doing any cheating, it can only definitely be dirty once you're taking beyond it's advantages. Most gamblers in the real world of physical money, had a mindset that gamblers who initiate huge wins was seriously taking hidden strategies that eventually losses their opponent.

Isn't about the way you gamble that money, is about the source of the money used for gambling. Some people use casinos as a way of money laundering, because if you have a big bankroll from a scam or from theft, then you can join to a casino a chase big multipliers with low chance to get them, and each time you hit one of those 'Jackpots' then the money gets justified.
4475  Local / Esquina Libre / Re: sha el sha on: September 10, 2019, 10:47:38 PM
....

4476  Local / Servicios / Re: Como dedicarse a exchanger en Localbitcoin? on: September 10, 2019, 10:30:38 PM
...

4478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvesting on Bitcoin after losing on: September 10, 2019, 03:00:42 PM
Did any one of you lose money buying Bitcoin?
We don't lose money by buying bitcoins, we lose money if we sell them at a lower price than the one we buy them.

If yes, Did you again reinvest in Bitcoin after losing?
If we buy bitcoins and the price goes lower, is a wise move to buy more, i have done it in the past and is a way to make more profit...
4479  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Python script for testing a bunch of bitcoin private keys on: September 10, 2019, 03:40:14 AM
The best way is make your own database which have column address and amount. There's big bottleneck if you use Bitcoin Core or block explorer API.
Combining your script with tools mentioned by @seoincorporation and query to local database would save lots of time.

And the second step is the complex one... Verify the address balance, for this, you can use an API from some block explorer to verify if the address has balance, or another way is to do it directly with bitcoin core.

Bitcoin Core don't index balance of each address, unless it's part of your wallet (including watch-only address). You could use chainstate and txindex though.

But i think the best way to do it and to save time is to import all those private keys to bitcoin core, that way you will not waste time calling the API to verify if they have balance or not.

I'm not sure if it's best way when we're talking about hundred thousand of Bitcoin address.

I think bitcoin core was able to show balance but as you say for that we have to add the address as watch only...

And about the best way you are right, is not the best way, is just the easy way.

I reply again because i found the python script i used in the past for the same propose, it's called coinkit:

Code:
from coinkit.keypair import BitcoinKeypair
k = BitcoinKeypair('5Jx4txgXUCe1kP8mBLEZrLSsZm9WRin8xijWvVW8RACzHn2ZzBH')
d = k.address()
print (d)

4480  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: SOBRE LAS COLISIONES Y LOS ORDENADORES CUÁNTICOS on: September 09, 2019, 06:32:43 PM
