fullzero sorry i haven't pulled the trigger on this i really do want to but windows is just so damn easy to set up and use. Hate it as you will - 99% of the influx into the mining scene will be people that can't find their ass from the keyboard, let alone know what Linux is - so I'm just throwing some thing out there for you to consider Since you are marketing this as "easy-to-use Linux Nvidia mining" here are some things that KEEP me on M$ crappy Win10 Ease of use -

how to recover the usb key with nvoc installed ? can't format this :-(
thanks
On windows I'm assuming, easy way is this way Launch command line in administrator status type "diskpart" list disk (find the one that is your USB key select disk # (# is the one you see from the list disk) clean Go to computer management it will now show up to format, click on it new simple format. Profit! I use this windows GUI tool for wiping thumb drives. Make sure you check the box for "perform quick wipe." It's from HDD Guru, the same folks who make the HDD Raw Copy Tool imaging software OP recommends. http://hddguru.com/software/HDD-LLF-Low-Level-Format-Tool/i don't like anything that has so many tiers and trials and shit - looks sketchy as hell. just use rufus it's been used for years to wipe drives and proven track record of being safe https://rufus.akeo.ie/

great job nokia - a couple things i saw - an OPTION for a more condensed view of miners like smos and minerstat have it - that way you can see ALL your miners in one page at a glance instead of having to scroll so much dgb skein profits not showing - i like the screenshot you have of zpool but i put 1 miner back on zpool and didn't see that. thanks for your hard work - i'll continue to bump this thread for you so more people catch on to what a great tool this is ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Can anyone help with a quick OS problem? I've never seen this in my dozens of time trying to install a Windows OS, especially Win 7..
I made a bootable thumb drive from a an ISO that a reputable Key seller on ebay provided (one Phil recommednded) as I can't find my disk and I go to install and I get to s screen that says select a driver, typically where you select x86 or x64 and it says no device driver found? I tried mounting the iso a few more times and reformating the thumb, nothing..
Phil was kind enough to send me a Win 7 CD, I buy an external CD drive and I get the same error.. I even plug in another SSD that doesn't have an OS (other SSD had Server 2012 on it), and that doesn't work.. Can anyone help me as I have never seen this issue before..
Funny thing was.. when I was on Server 2012, that system booted up, I was only reformating it as I couldn't get the LAN drivers to work and needed internet..
had that issue with my MB when did a clean install (Gigabyte GA270P-D3) when trying to to install Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit.....the ISO does not support USB 3.0 so it wouldn't be able to read somehow the USB correctly. Had to go to Gigabyte's website and download a driver to install on the USB stick that let it run the install correctly. Good luck! Damn you hit the nail on the head, the Mobo's I was having that issue with was the GA270P-D3's - it was the first 3 or 4 and now that I think about it it was the blue 3.0 port, and I remember each time replugging it into the black USB port which I'm guessing is 2.0! I smarted up and now I just clone the finished drive. Went from 1 hour to get a rig up and running to 10 minutes. Made setting up my tiny militia much more tolerable, being I'm a solo op Reading what the previous poster said this is def the issue. Hopefully your motherboard has some non usb 3.0 ports. Or you could use windows 10 instead. Your windows 7 key will likely work for win10. I installed win10 yesterday on my win 7 key for two machines.
I am using Win10 and had that issue - i just think it's the 3.0 ports.

im sorry i mistakenly typed in the wrong number when i was typing up the above numbers... good catch.. I opened up my spreadsheet and the numbers were not even close to what i typed earlier.. i will correct it.. so you understand....
My current hashrate for skein is 12,503Mh/s across the 13 cards.. not 22503... my bad
So currently pool reports 0.00413, so 12,503x0.00413=0.05163739mBTC/day or $129.37, so $9.95/ea
what ccminer are you using to mine blake256r8 algo? I mine blake2s with ccminer-x64 2.0 Storx it would be really helpful if when you made comments you could include some detail as you have made several comments and left out all the detail. You claimed to make $17 per day on Skein and Blake. Then corrected your skein. But not your blake2s. So I can only assume those figures were wrong also. I was able to guess you were mining blake2s not blake2b or something else??? I guessed maybe 2s??. I got around 2700 Hash on CC miner doing Blake2s algo. This was on a 1080 Ti Aorus and a handful of tweaking. That came back as around $4.50 a day or less. So yer I am not really sure whats going on in your screenshots. Some updates for anyone else. Skein is still the most profitable. Here is what I make per day as of right now for one 1080 ti before power and fees. All my cards are around 75-90 tpd because my power is cheap I can push my skien TPD slightly higher. I have tweaked the clocks and cores. Skein = $10.85 (alexisminer) 1000 Hash Zec = $9.49 (EWBF 3.03b?) 720 Eth = $7.03 ( Claymore or Genoil) 37 (if claymore can mine a little sia for 370 so this bumps it up a little also) Zec is looking really good right now. And Skein has really dropped off lately but I have not seen it be less profitable than zec yet. Anyone else mining any other algos or coins and have similar or better results? If so please share ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Numbers actually look like mines. I'm currently on a mine and hold pattern since all overhead is paid for the month so not too worried about the USD$ amount converted to BTC currently since Skein will stay Skein, Zec will stay Zec and Eth/Eth.

I was getting that error - I would plug it into a different usb port reboot and it would read it, so I'm not sure what the issue was but it did happen to me on a handful of installs.

what are you punching in because i just went to whattomine and punched in stats for 1x1080 and numbers waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay different that yours.
currently set up to mine to bitcoin only what i'm spending on overhead costs.
the rest of hashing power will be split between direct direct mining of zec/skein/eth no conversion to back to BTC yet.

just point your miner to the algo and port your pool uses for blake or whatever algo it is you want to mine. your pool will have a list of all algos and ports to use.
|
|
|
algos and miners yes. what pool you need to the database?
Very cool. Pool not a big issues - just support for alexis78 and DGB skien. I think dgb's use theblockfactory for pool.

nice - when u dropping 3.0? is it going to support more nVidia algos and miners? other pools? thanks.

4 x 1070 are far better because of density and because mining with cheap gpu is not that good now with this high reward i would choose 2 x 1080ti over the 1070, they are even better
just thank you for your answer, so do you think its better to go with 2x1080ti for now? also which edition is better for those cards? also i've checked at nicehash calc and 1x1080ti is doing only 8.21 USD/Day when 1x1060 6gb does 4USD (6x4=24USD/Day) hmmm... 2x 1080 ti is equal to cheaper energy compared to 6 x gtx 1060 gb. However 4 x gtx 1070 is also cheaper than 6 x gtx 1060 6gb but the 4 x gtx 1070 make a bit more than 6 gtx 1060 with a bit of overclocking so they make about 27-28 usd daily and cheaper energy cost. As I already said above this card is now the new golden standard for mining in my opinion and every new rig I intend to build will be based on GTX 1070-s. So you recommend to build rig with 4x1070 right? How much will they do per day? Where should I check that info? whattomine.com or http://bfy.tw/CPPr

I probably should sell mines I have 40 RX470s sitting in a box that i just removed because i bought 1080tis to replace them. I need to stop being so wasteful. Hell I have about 100 AC1750's that I yanked that have been sitting in my garage for 2 years. At 70-100 each... yeah i should stop being lazy lol

I'll admit - i have not scrolled through all 53 pages - so if this issue has come up - you should probably add it to a FAQ
firing up ZEC with the node it always tries to start ZEC and LBRY, so 2 miners. I've deleted every single miner besides ebfw or whatever and now I just get a "failed" .bat start because well... it's starting a batch file i don't want started so what do i care.
anyways - so double startups on my test run so far.
if you start supporting alexis and skein i would probably buy since 90% of my rigs are on it, 100% nVidia and only 10% on ZEC so not worth it if you don't support more nVidia algos
In your config file under the minerstat directory, do you have only Miner=Claymore-zec or does it have two Miner= fields? That might explain why it tries to launch 2 at startup. The node.exe calls the miner specified in the config.txt file. Also if you have modified the start.bat file from the original and didn't use the webpage to specify your settings that can also cause an issue like that. So best thing to do is go to your worker's page on minerstat, fill in your pool, wallet, settings etc.. then download the node software and overwrite the old one. Modify your config.txt file with your api key, miner etc.. that's the sad/pathetic part - i'm not running claymore so this program shouldn't even try to run dual. running ewbf-zec and no, there are no double miner entries. also does this even notify you when the miner is down? i have it enabled and i took 1 miner offline to see if i'd get notified and after 20 minutes no notification. honestly i'm trying to get myself to buy this, but with all these glitches and missing features i can't bring myself to do it. another huge fuckup is on reboot it needs permission to run. it's not on me as the end user to have the program properly registered with microsoft. send in your request get the program approved as being not malicious. Well either way, I was using claymore-zec as an example. There is obviously something wrong with your setup since myself and 5 other friends who mine aren't having any kind of problems with this software. Granted we all work in IT and know what to expect from Microsoft so you shouldn't really dog on a product you don't understand how to run. Have you read the readme files? Also worth noting we all switched to Minerstat from other monitoring programs for the added features that are missing out of other monitoring programs. Also email notifications do work, as long as you use a reputable email provider, none of us have had any issues with email alerts. So circling back you do have an issue with your setup but if you are unwilling to look at the troubleshooting steps then you just need to go find another product to use that babies to the "end user" who feels victimized because they can't educate themselves in how to use things properly. whoa calm down there homie talking about programs that baby people. Look I'm not a coder, but I've used programs from managing over 5000 android phones on adware to python programs that intercepted tracking numbers for ... various reasons. I don't have a problem supporting devs. At all. And no. I'm not an "end user" who feels victimized. Being on the other end does not bother me.

While we help other miners... we're in business to make a profit.
At least we're not selling them for $359. Blame ASRock. They're not producing enough.
Did this mother fucker really say blame ASRock? LMFAO ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com%2Foriginals%2F6f%2Fe7%2F43%2F6fe74393320401d9dcf9f298c7f41181.jpg&t=663&c=pD62SQxbsfc6Uw)
