Glad I could help!
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Tax Information - Interesting on: June 09, 2012, 04:13:36 PM
I don't need to file any taxes this year

Just want to clarify here because the words you are using don't jive with your conclusion.

A person whose income is below certain levels is not required to file taxes.  That doesn't mean their income, from whatever source, isn't considered taxable income.

And related:

No, seriously.  H&R block said don't even bother coming in, that I have NO income.

That's because the income tax in part stems from one's use of the private credit of the Federal Reserve.

The income tax was never constitutional.... until the private Federal Reserve came along and people started circulating their debt notes as "money".

Don't use their private credit, and suddenly the income tax is not nearly as much of a problem.

I have a code that uses the KJV1611 Holy Bible for a Brain Wallet. I shouldn't have a big problem finding a copy of that anywhere I go. I just hope Tom Hanks doesn't figure it out.

How does one do such a thing?
464  Economy / Marketplace / Re: FOR SALE: Vintage (60's-90's) Gentlemens' Magazines - Playboys, Penthouses, etc. on: June 08, 2012, 10:09:30 PM
how many of the issues are you missing from playboy to make them complete?

I have sold some locally to avoid the high shipping costs, so unfortunately there are no complete years.

These magazines are quite heavy.

I have quite a few other brands as well, but here's the list of the remaining Playboys and Penthouses:

That's just the signature; you would have to post the message as well so that it could be validated.

LOL can you tell it's the first time I've tried to use this feature?

The message said "I control this."

I generated that by using the "sign message" option in the Bitcoin client.

I'm not sure how to convert it back right off, but it demonstrates my control of 1Fu5GtJDMTBi56c3fYZA3tre8tZGNd36FH.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Bitcoin on: June 08, 2012, 06:05:27 PM
This will just be an overarching statement to those who have posted here and those who have PMed me about taking over my ventures:
No. I will find suitable people who I know and trust and who I feel are competent to continue them in the right direction.  If your name doesn't come to my mind naturally and you have to pitch the idea yourself, then I obviously don't know/trust you well enough to hand over such ventures.

You are still keeping a little stash that you can tuck away "for a rainy day", right?

If you still wanna unload some BTC, the address in my signature line would accept it. No donation is too small or too large!

468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Encrypted wallet.dat, lost password, any solutions? on: June 05, 2012, 01:54:11 AM
the password is quite memorable, which is why im surprised i misrecorded it- it is very long but a unique phrase and i must have misentered it twice while confirming it as my password.

so yes, i have a good idea of what the password is close to, and i would love for a reputable, trustworthy member to help me brute force it.

i will pay well Smiley

thanks again all

Why not search and find a password cracker that will brute force it for you, starting with your *intended* password?

I'm not familiar with any particular piece of such software, but I'm sure it exists, and is likely found with relative ease given a diligent search.

Feel free to send your bounty my way though. Grin

Creative collaboration is usually more of a two-way street. You might need to provide more info.

What does your company focus on? What's it's big selling point? What single quality of TizzyTazzy makes you most proud?

Asking for a "fresh cool crazy spontaneous" slogan is itself a little generic. Can you narrow down your focus here? Short or long? Buzzword-heavy or sassy-yet-vague? Should it bring attention to something about the company, or just grab people's attention directly (and what are your limits on how bold such an attention-grab should be?)

The more descriptive you are, the more people will know about what you want (and what you don't want.)

I'm looking to see what others come up with based on what I already described, I'm open to anything that I could possibly end up liking.

how about:

"You'll like it."

474  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Opting out of Social Security on: May 27, 2012, 09:36:15 PM
Believe it or not, anyone can opt out of social security. By the nature of the exemption the instructions have a religious lean, don't let that off put you, the info is solid. Before doing this make sure you understand the full ramifications of opting out.

I found that site a few years ago.... I find it pretty damn cool to see it referenced here.

Bitcoiners. Good people!

476  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BITCOIN MAGAZINE ARRIVED! on: May 27, 2012, 04:45:14 AM
How long will the 1st issue be available? (I'm referring, of course, to the physical edition.)

If I decide sometime in the near but indeterminate future that I'd like to buy a subscription, could I get the back issue magazine(s)?
477  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ANN] 700,000 Cash Deposit Locations in Brazil, Russia, USA - BitInstant on: May 27, 2012, 04:40:21 AM
I was initially excited at the prospect of buying bitcoins at walmart, but if an ID is required, my enthusiasm is dampened.

Do all these CVS/walmart/7-11 type services require ID?

Does bitinstant accept cash-in-the-mail or money orders?

480  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinTalk Freeroll this Thursday at Seals on: May 25, 2012, 12:17:42 AM
If you've put your Seals username in this thread you should already be registered (you can check the list of registered players in the software), no need for the password.

It was too many to register manually :-)

Next time I'll have to make it harder, write me a poem about Seals or something.

Ahhh I see.

Thanks!
