Liquid asset-backed tokens (LABT) are the tokens issued at the LAT platform to allow fractional ownership of assets sold at the LAT platform. LABT are issued on the Ethereum platform by means of the ERC20 smart contract. A third-party Trustee will hold the actual asset and retain the seller’s option to buy back the asset from the LABT holders at market price on the settlement date. If the seller refuses to exercise the option, the asset will be sold at fiat auction by the trustee and LABT holders are entitled to receive their corresponding share of the proceeds.

LATP just is a previous version of LAT token. For first presale. All of LATP was transformed into LAT with a 1 LATP = 3000 LAT rate at the end of the 1 sale round.

LAT are not to be purchased with a view to profit on potential appreciation of LAT themselves. LAT do not represent an investment contract in the LAT Platform. They do not represent a common enterprise as the LAT platform is already operational prio investor’s investment. LAT do not represent an investment contracts with an expectation of profits from the entrepreneurial or managerial efforts of others. All investments decisions are made directly by the holder of LAT, independent of other holders of LAT or the Management of the LAT platform.

LAToken building products for several complicated verticals, for different areas to work on, such a operations, legal, tax, regulations, local differences, etc.
Building an online platform with a huge back-end infrastructure very difficult and costly.
So, LAToken needs world class developers, customer service, analysts, industry experts, lawyers, local representatives, biz. dev,  etc. They all needs money too. 

Every valuation describes expectations of investors. Crypto and blockchain topics have a hype now. This market is crazy and quick. If you want to compete with all the other similar projects, you need attracting unprecedented number of cash. The competition is gonna be tough, so LAToken needs $ to move fast and bring their platform to perfection.

If I correctly estimate, this valuation must be consider as “LAToken plans to build a company with a valuation at least $300M”. If they can achieve a massive adoption of their platform, this valuation will seem very small.

Gtac01, it looks high, but this is an approximate forecast. I think it's taken to the maximum. Becouse LAToken valuation depends a lot on ETH rate, which is very volatile.  Also this valuation includes 600M frozen tokens released only after 5 years.

This rounds approximately indicates the implementation of a new type of assets. It is quite a complicated process, that why it need some time. And money ofc.

How about custodian services costs? They will not be cheap.

I do not know really. I read somewhere that all costs will be only about 0.01% or even 0.001% of the operation cost. It seemed too optimistic for me and i don't save that page. Can't find it again. But i think that tenfold reduction of costs are really possible.

About the potential - these are the markets LATtoken are already working with.
EQUITY (global asset value - 65 trillion$) - Listing equity on a stock exchange is a very costly process. Underwriters and bookrunners syndicate fees are ranging from 2% to over 6%1 of gross proceeds from the offering, application and filing fees fee average around $25k.
DEBT (g.a.v - 215 trillion$) - Issuing debt on a leading stock exchange incurs initial listing fees of ~$20,000 and an annual fee of ~$20,0004 . Underwriting fees generally amount over 1% of total gross proceeds from debt issuance.
REAL ESTATE (g.a.v - 217 trillion$) - On average home sellers pay their listing agent a commission of about 6% of the price. Other transaction costs amount to ~5% and include escrow costs and recording costs upon sale, title insurance costs. The sale process takes on average not less than 65 days. The proceeds from the real estate sale are taxed at the rate of up to 20% .
ART WORKS (g.a.v - 3 trillion$) - As per example below seller fees associated with an artwork sale are 20-25% of the sale price (hummer price) while buyer’s premium charged up to 25% (according to Sotheby’s commission structure).
LAT can greatly reduce all these costs. This alone already has really huge potential.

Becouse the whole idea. It is very promising.
For asset owners LAToken unlocks the value of assets by selling their tokenized fractions to crypto investors. For investors LAToken opens global access to real assets using cryptocurrency, with low transaction costs and maximum transparency and security. With LAToken investors of all sizes may own fractions of assets previously accessible only to large investors (such as real estate and works of art) and thus increase their ROI and diversify portfolios.

Becouse LAT has every chance to become a real bridge between cryptocurrencies and world business and economics. ICO like LAToken convert cryptocurrencies from the subject of speculation to engine of the economy. And this "engine" can be more comfortable, flexible and effective than traditional money.

It's difficult for imagine for me too. But i think this is possible. And becouse this i am very interested in LAToken exactly.

The demand for such enterprises is growing now, because all the customers want low transaction costs, transparency and speed. Will be simple competition for a share in the constantly growing demand. LAToken Team looks like the strongest among all the competitors for me. I think demand for LAT will grow much more quickly. LAT price will grow too.
