Would be great to have some SIMPLE guide explaining us how to setup everything. (If there's already one, I must have read over it..)
Right now I'm trying to setup my miner with a (buggy?) version of sgminer but.. fan speeds jumping to 9999RPM randomly, a lot of (NULL) text appears constantly, and the set fan speeds don't work for all cards.
Anyone that could me help out on this?

i get around 1190 / 1200 khash Getting around ~1650KH/s per card now, guess it can even go higher with a little tweaking.. |

Yes, Lexerom is a developer that works with me and has helped setup the servers, websites etc during the launch. He was intimately involved in the launch process and was able to connect to the pool directly with the ip from what I understand. This was not intentional and any benefit I will pay out of pocket back to the community. It obviously was intentional, mining BEFORE the official launch time and obviously changing ports or whatever was the cause for others not being able to connect. This sounds fishy, that's all I can say.. thank you dopey for clearing the blame on us leafcoin devs.
Don't get ahead of yourselves, as this still doesn't explain why you guys where all three mining BEFORE launch time. It's pretty damn obvious the three of you are connected, and you most likely had the same intentions: Getting quick and easy coins.. Disgusting! |

Sorry about the official pool problems, looks like cloudflair (ddos protection due to launch #1 problems) took a while to realise it wasn't an attack and let the traffic through, then everybody was saying it was broken, so I tried changing ports to cloudflair approved ports only to have it reported to me it was now working on 3333 and I just broke it. Its now back on 3333 and confirmed working fine.
And still you guys were already mining several seconds BEFORE launch, while none of the others could join. My cgminer was probing for alive pools MINUTES before launch, how come I didn't get through? Oh wait, someone - probably you guys - changed the port of the main pool. What else can it be? Jesus christ. |

no we did not... and to prove my point.. check my user account on the official pool. mercuriusgids is my username. i hardly did get anything. we had cloudflare issues... the ddos protection was failing on us.. i dont know why but i promise you that i would never risk anything to damage my reputation. i did only do the coin software. and as far as my judgement goes... the software is just fine. Oh please, get lost. You're from the LeafCoin dev team? Then we both know what happened. Just saying I hoped for less greed, whatever everything is working now. |

Not directly, because the coin was minable from the very beginning. Just not from the main pool.. Because those greedy assholes from LeafCoin had to change the port so nobody could mine from there. I don't have any evidence, but that's how I would have done it with greedy intentions. |

Are the stratum and port on the main pool correct? This is seriously beyond gay for the second time bro. I don't even want to waste my time signing up for other pools after watching your dev team instamine the first 500 blocks. I figured you'd at least have the "official pool" up and running after the last fiasco.

Just to clarify, I am not mining, only the leave coin developers are in the pool.

Something tells me those LeafCoin devs are 'pretending' there are issues, so they can mine a shitload of DopeCoin on low difficulty before the rest of us gets a chance. Looks like it...  |

Patiently waiting for the relaunch, dopey could you give us an estimate of when to approximately expect something to happen? By knowing I will make sure I'm not missing out on this coin!  I think its going to be tomorrow within the next 24 hours, nearly everything has been tested now. All looking good. Not a problem to me, as long as they put a countdown timer ( http://countingdownto.com/) up so we know the exact time. Also if they're planning to re-launch anytime soon, I hope they will do a re-announcement 24h BEFORE the re-launch.. |

From the moment I started renting I keep getting 100% rejects on his VTC (Vertcoin) miner. Will update this post if issue gets resolved!
EDIT:
The mistake was on my side, the provider clearly stated: MaxCoin ONLY! I was in the misbelief of thinking that MaxCoin used the same N-scrypt algorithm as VertCoin does. It doesn't, that explains why I got 100% rejects. Eventhough I made a stupid mistake, the provider still credited me for 3 hours EXTRA lease time. Extremely thankful for that, and I am most definitely vouching for Puycheval.

As you can probably see this launch is not going as smoothly as anticipated. Pools are up, people are mining. We have faced heavy DDOS attacks and a server load that was more than we could handle. Not sure what to say at this point, waiting for the dust to settle and will go from there. This is not a premine or instamine or anything of the sorts so drop it. My dev pool was targetted and ddosed right off the start. Wallets have been available at www.dopecoin.com since launch |
