461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ««HIRING SCRYPT MINING RIG for 24/7 MINING CONTRACT»» on: March 01, 2014, 10:51:08 PM
Hello all,

I am interested in renting some KH/s to mine a scrypt coin of my own choosing 24/7 for best offer. Meaning that i want to be able to choose the coin and the pool (this can be talked through depending where is the service provider is) to mine and be able to be payed out in said coin for like every 10 min or so directly to my wallet. I also am looking to be able to redirect the mining rig to another coin of my choosing whenever I feel it will serve me best. Would be great if i could manage it with teamviewer/cgwatcher.
If you can offer me this service you can PM me or just reply to this thread with the amount of hash power are you renting your rig and what are your service fees per hour/day/week!
Thank you

I really like the potential future of this coin and the concept, you guys have the most professional look on your ANN page and so many features I can't believe the coin isn't worth more right now and it's for a good cause, it's a shame greed takes over too many people I'm mining this coin now because I support instead of being over run with greed and mining the current gold rush coins

I have to remind this community of what was said earlyer and also many have followed the same thinking with similar posts of discontentment:

It is not weird at all. There are 15 billion coins to be in existence and with a 5000 coin block reward with no block halving on this coin with a difficulty re-target everyblock. Meaning a Miner hashing with 14mh/s which is not much nowadays to have. This miner at current difficulty and market price is making around 0.25 BTC per day! I am amazed how the price is still this high. Because these miners are dumping hard like monkeys! I was dumb enough to buy this with my eyes set on the marketplace lure but the cold harsh truth is that with the current Noble coding it is going to be hard to not have these miners dumping all their coins. Why? Because it profitable to do so and they don't give a rats ass about the Marketplace, Waterproject or any other project that might come with Noble.
There are few people that support a coin because of noble causes. They want money. Pure and simple profit!!!
And to be honest if the ones that are in charge of this project leave the price at the mercy of pump and dumpers aswell as daytraders, I don´t see much future here with all these new coins coming out everyday! If you do not bring big players and investors to Noble, it is doomed to fail on the long run. It will fall to oblivion like those coins launched back in early 2013 when people will start to feel that the price is not going up no matter what projects the dev might come up with. And then people will sell, miners won't have profit, they stop mining, hashrate will fall and price will fall again and again...
I am sorry to write a negative post but I must alert the community and the DEV team for a wakeup call so I can protect my investment!
Hope you do something about it more than you already have done!

Cheers

And I will add more because I am really getting pissed and now we don't Bitcoin to blame since it is going up on price.
No one will buy a coin that is at the mercy of 1 guy pumping and dumping like he owns the coin. No one will trust it until serious investors start supporting the coin and then for the sake of their investment put some BTC support walls so the price can only go up but that won't happen because just as I explained before in this thread the current difficulty with a 5000 block reward on a 15 billion coin supply cap is more than profitable for some miners to dump their coins at current price.
For one freaking guy to manipulate the freaking coin it is ridiculous. It means there are almost none buying it or selling it = no real market. Just a guy with some btc daytrading and playing with the market and 1 or 2 following the trend. It is just sad for this to be happening to Noble but it is a fact!!!
Like I said before projects for the coin won't help much on full POW coin if it profitable to dump and current price versus diff unless more people start mining it and difficulty goes up but for that to happen more people need to start mining it and for that to happen people need to believe price will go up so their mining is profitable to cover expenses or even losses in some cases and for that we need buyers and for that we need investors and for that we need to spread the word and explain why Noblecoin is good to invest in and present results!
Let's look at an example. Marketplace is making a 12% discount on Noblecoin to buy goods. Let's look at amazon gift cards with current Bitcoin price and Noblecoin price everyone that invested on both at higher prices buying those giftcards with be insane because they are at a loss. This is in my point of view at the moment the main reason many still do have an eye on Noblecoin on a short term investment but sure if people are looking on a long term investment where are the new features and deals with other merchants that can bring motivation to buy or mine Noble?
The more time we wait to move forth more competition will come, more innovative coins with better codes will come and if I am wrong then enlighten me why should I still invest in Noblecoin when I am saw a 200% decrease price drop since it hit the market? It almost seems there is someone that does not want people to reach the most valuable prize of this coin which at this moment is the Marketplace to trade at!!!

Thoughts please? And help me to stick to this project and not move along to Flappycoin

Thank you

Ok, maybe this is a odd question but why should people buy a coin that you can win them for playing the game?
Seems they are good to sell the coins you win. Not to buy them. Is there anything we can get with them by having flapcoin on our wallets?
Is there any plans from the creator to ressurect Flappy bird in the future since this game was discontinuated by Nguyen himself?
Or is just a initiative from the legion of fans to give back life to old Flappy?
Maybe I misunderstood the concept of the coin at all so can anyone enlight me so I can start mining the coin?

Thank you

Can someone that actually is getting some fatecoin post here a sample of your current config file?

One thing I would really like clarification on is whether the wallet will ever return to the right chain by itself, or whether it's necessary to restart the wallet to recheck that periodically. See my earlier post about an overnight blitz of 26000 fate...

It's actually a pretty novel concept for a coin - edit: whether this gives it any value or not, I am not sure Tongue But it's something for my CPU to do while we find out more I guess heh.

This is my question also please respond.
Do we have to restart the wallet everytime to get on the right chain and then mine from there or we keep the wallet open mining and randomly by "fate" we get sometimes on and off the correct blockchain?
469  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Crypto Doubler - coin2x - coin2x.com on: February 23, 2014, 10:00:54 PM
I think maybe their message with https://www.facebook.com/coin2x is to try and see if they have good feedback and the support to be welcomed to resume their business even though they started off as a ponzi or pyramid scheme or perhaps i am wrong and they are real pro traders sorting things out but anyways...

My message to the crew from coin2x.com is the following:

-You can really make a business out of this and earn more money and give money to your clients and all be happy about it.
-Why settle for peanuts if you can make a nice business out of this if you have the skills and resources to do it?
-For what i read here they are positive and I am sure everyone wants you to come back online and continue to do business with you guys.
-You can revolutionary these ponzi schemes and prove that they work for the long haul and maybe you need to stipulate a minimum amount and a maximum amount to deposit so people don't go crazy over their heads and deposit more coins that you can handle.
-But then again if you are daytrading maybe deposit limitations are not needed. I think you guys know better what you can work with.

Again, would be nice for you to put a stop to this fud and become a real business for a change in this crypto wanna be small time gambling schemes!

I have the impression that somehow this wallet does have a hidden virus that sends the coins to someone else!
I have been mining this coin since it was released today and I am finding blocks with 2000mh/s but i don't get any accepts!
This is the first coin in months that I can't get a single block on my wallet while solomining especially with so low difficulty!
I have to conclude that this must be a scam because it is impossible not to have any coins on my wallet after 568 blocks and only having more than 250000 rejects!
Anyways if anyone can come with a explanation that would nice!
Going to stop now and forget this coin ever existed!

Good luck
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TiPS ★ Kimotos Gravity Well ★ Coin anonymizer launched! on: February 22, 2014, 11:16:19 AM
Ok you guys forget that http://multipool.us as a protocol with Cryptsy. When the multiport changes the mining rigs to TIPS because it is more profitable to mine than the other coins it will automatically dump the coins at Cryptsy exchange! This is the main reason you are seeing the price go down and of course with a little help from the whales that want to grab cheap and some weak hands that feed them!
Anyways I also see many folks of the TIPS community reyling on Invisible to make everything and it seems sometimes you are all waiting for him to show up so that initiatives take place!
I can tell you that I have been following TIPS from the start and Invisible himself had made clear that he won't be available all the time!
This community has been growing slowly but steady and have made many things and is on the right track of progress but don't put all your faith in the DEV efforts to make it go further! The real backbone of a coin is the community behind it. Not a single individual. If you think that you are capable of doing something better for TIPs and want to moderate anything, you should talk to Invisible. I am sure he is going to be grateful others take on some tasks that he can't handle!

Cheers

I think it's weird that the value is lower than.. for example corgicoin, where it is easy to mine a couple of k's.. where I mine noble at a lower rate, but the price is lower. I do believe that is because its in the "most profitable" list at the moment, so people are in a constant dump right now, but still like this coin by far,

So Bosian, are you letting this coin die with not even 1 BTC buy support? Or are you letting go down less than 1 satoshi till we start trading in the LTC market removing completely BTC market from GRA?
Because of no efforts to make Grain being traded on other exchanges, I can guarantee you all that Coinedup is going to remove BTC market for this coin if it hits the 1 satoshi bottom and does not get up in the following week!
This coin is trading for 5 satoshi. Is this the best that this great community can do? I think we can do better to be honest but get your shit straight and promo the coin. It is imperative that other exchanges trade GRA or it will sink like Titanic!
Many things need to be fixed for this coin to prosper. Messing with the initial code was the worst mistake anyone could do! GRA was trading stable over 30 satoshi before all your messing around with POS reward. Look where it iks now!!! Don't mess with thing's if you are not going to make it better and fix this ASAP please!

Thank you

Sup with the wallet syncing? Been stuck on block 26838 like forever...

funny.

You know... thats what block we're on now.

Yes, but I have sent 400,000 MOON to my wallet and it is with 4 hours delay to sync so I am not getting confirmation on that transaction and so it is unconfirmed and not credited on my balance!!! That is why I asked what was wrong with the synchronization of the blockchain!!!

unfortunately right now we're still 12 blocks away from getting the coins diff fixed so you'll just need to hang tight to get the confirmations. read back in the thread.

Hope that they wont get lost on that hardfork but thank you for the help reply!

BTC was down around $310 on Gox less than an hour ago... I think we need to give it some time to see how DOGE reacts to the halving :]

MtGox does not affect other BTC markets. They never did. They are selling cheaper to recover losses and to buy in again. They are scamming people. Reason why their price was high above the other markets. Now they want to buy in cheap. Bunch of bloodsucking leaches. Worst thing is that people fell for the whole scam!
