461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Hit New Milestone, Surpassing 6,000 on: November 19, 2019, 08:17:44 AM
A new record has been set with over 6,000 Bitcoin ATMs installed worldwide. Everyday, cryptocurrency achieves a unique milestone which further puts it in position for global adoption which is inevitable.

This is a good development because with the spread of bitcoin ATMs, people will get to know bitcoin better. Many merchants already accept payment using crypto and this is the initial process of crypto adoption. Increasingly in the next few years, crypto is becoming easier to use in many countries
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are to be blame for what happened to them on the internet on: November 19, 2019, 08:14:18 AM
When it comes to money people like trying out things the way they see fit, try first learn later is the rules of newbies and thats why they always get scammed easily, HYIP, Pyramid Scheme, as dangerous and alarming these two are people still join them till date, both crypto and internet is not the evil here, people are to be blame for what happened to them

The internet is useful for civilization and can be used by anyone for any purpose. People can build their business through the internet and I think many positive things can be done with the internet. If there is internet abuse for fraud, I think the user is to blame because we can easily do research on the internet
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Crypto with a use case on: November 19, 2019, 08:09:45 AM
Even use case is not a guarantee of success. In my opinion the real use case is when a blockchain product gets adopted by a big company and is integrated in their solution. Till now, I haven't seem a lot of such projects, so why  should Horizon have future?

Agree, there are still many crypto that have not been used. Among the many cryptos on the market, bitcoin is a crypto that is often used for transactions at merchants and peer to peer so I think bitcoin is the most useful crypto because it can be accepted anywhere
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What type of Cryptocurrency is used in the Deep Web for transactions? on: November 19, 2019, 08:05:33 AM
I know that the deep web mainly uses cryptos as a means of transactions for people who want to buy things over there, but what type of cryptos are mainly used when making those transactions? It’s just a curious question I have in my mind.

Bitcoin is the most widely used currency on the deep web. Bitcoin is used because it is a pioneer in peer to peer transactions and is also easy to liquidate by its users. Maybe now there are a lot of crypto used, but bitcoin is still the most popular
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help us understand your priorities when investing in Crypto on: November 18, 2019, 07:47:55 AM
the most important factor is the team behind the project whether there product is already developed or in processing. the product which company develop meet the market need. in my opinion most of these factor is required before investing in cryptocurrency

One important factor that makes me interested in investing is having a partnership with a good company. Partnertship indicates that the token has a prospect and is also verified by another company as a legit company. In addition, if the coin is already on the market, the other most important factor is that the coin or token has great liquidity and this coin is usually in the top 50 coin marketcap
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin about to Make a Comeback? on: November 18, 2019, 07:44:52 AM
What kind of Comeback, Dogechoin is one of the stable coins though not the stablecoin.
So the increase and decrease of 2% will not impact, or give judgment he will pump/dump.
The last Rumor that I heard was when Doge would list on binance there it cost up 20% before the list and then dump after the list.

Agree, although Dogecoin is not stable, the price reflects the stability of prices in the market. Seeing the value of transactions over time that has continued to increase, I think Dogecoin can potentially be above 50 sats. Doge is one of my favorite coins because it is quick to transact and also has low cost
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is True Decentralization a Myth? on: November 18, 2019, 07:41:40 AM
Since Bitcoin was created, Blockchain technology promised to bring full decentralization over people's funds. Each cryptocurrency has a certain level/degree of decentralization depending on the consensus algorithm used and the number of distributed nodes worldwide. While Bitcoin is known to be the most decentralized cryptocurrency today, it still has a certain level of centralization attached to it. PoW is not perfect, as well as, PoS, DPoS and other consensus algorithms.

In the search of "True Decentralization", I found out that there's no such thing. One way or another, a cryptocurrency will have some level of centralization as nothing is perfect in this life. Which is why, I'm starting to think if "True Decentralization" is more of a myth than anything else? What are your thoughts? Huh

I think coins like Bitcoin will remain decentralized because mining will continue. Transaction data is not stored in a data center and is spread across all the computers that record it and this is a decentralized form of Bitcoin. For tokens, centralization might occur because the supply controller is still in the developer team and the team can intervene in the market price
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 16, 2019, 05:49:42 AM
the first is the project product, the development of coin prices, how active the developer is in auditing the project, how much coin supply is sold in the market, the team always contributes to their group channel and arranges financial management for several other crypto investments or doesn't just focus on investing 1 coin .

For me, choosing altcoin that I first noticed is the average daily transaction, if you have a large daily transaction, it means that the token or coin is in demand by many people and has a prospective product. In addition, in choosing altcoin, I will see whether the coins are traded in many large exchangers
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: November 16, 2019, 05:46:30 AM
There are several ways to earn alts for free, the most popular way is to bounty companies, as well as to earn alts on airdrops and cranes
reading this message it seems to me that you are the first day on the cryptocurrency market. there is no longer any crypto income on Airdrops and cranes. it’s a waste of time that brings nothing

Airdrop and bounty are now in different conditions compared to before 2017. Not much we get from airdrop, besides that many bounty campaigns do not pay to participants. But to get free tokens, bounties are still in great demand by many people even though we must be careful in choosing new projects
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins on: November 16, 2019, 05:42:51 AM
I think blockv and thorecoin are only some unclear coins or tokens that are only aimed at looking for developers' profits. Yes it can be profitable if we understand how to play the dev. But the fact is I won't hold coins or tokens like this for a long time. If you already see a profit, just sell it. I just think this is just a pump and dump with a limit supply strategy or other. I better buy the top 10 cryptos than the coins or tokens. This is safer for me.

Too risky if you hold altcoin that is not widely known and also has a liquidity that is not too large. For altcoin, I tend to choose to invest in altcoin which is in the top 10 or at least the top 50 coinmarket. Amid the unclear market conditions, in my opinion the safest choice is not too much to speculate and choose to hold bitcoin
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should Ethereum Add the "Frozen Wallet" Feature for Certain Adresss? on: November 15, 2019, 06:19:12 AM
As we know, there are currently many cases of crypto hacking, especially this often occurs in ERC20-based tokens. So to anticipate this, should Ethereum add the "Frozen Wallet" feature just for certain Adresss to their smart contract? I think this way can prevent the hackers to selling their loot. Although this method will change the crypto vision from "decentralization" to "centralization", but if this method is effective I think it's no matter.

What do you think?

I agree if there is this feature. With so many hacking going on, at least the hacker doesn't enjoy the theft token. If this happens. maybe hackers will rethink to steal tokens in other people's wallets because at the end they can't sell them or transfer them until there is a legal decision
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one makes sense on: November 15, 2019, 06:15:59 AM
Which one should come first? better to get through bounty before ICO/IEO fund raising or better to run bounty while fundraising is ongoing... Suggestion need

If told to choose, bounty hunters will definitely choose bounties on projects whose tokens have been traded on the market or exchangers. But most bounty campaigns take place before the token sales period and bounty hunters must select which projects are good and worth following.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central Bank Cryptocurrencies Are Pointless, Says Ex-Federal Reserve Chairman on: November 15, 2019, 06:12:15 AM
In cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin, cryptocurrency central bank is not needed and indeed it should not exist because bitcoin is a peer to peer tool. The purpose of creating bitcoin is the absence of a third party (central bank) in every transaction we make and this allows for anonymous transactions
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is worth to invest in dogecoin? on: November 15, 2019, 06:05:09 AM
I've seen dogecoin pumped and dumped for so many times and unfortunately, I wasn't able to hang and join the ride. But I think those personalities that were telling about their insights about dogecoin, it's your decision if you'll go with them.

I don't see anything wrong investing to dogecoin, it's very popular and despite of all the meme things bind on it. It's impressively showing on how it can compete being a quick and low fee altcoin if we're talking about tx's.
Since it is actively pumping and dumping as well that makes it better for day trading, I have tried it before ,if lucky enough to get the timing in trading it  you will be able to earn as many gets the opportunity of this coin , it's somehow still used by many even it was consider a meme coin for low fees or due to it's popularity in blockchain communities that still makes the pump and dump as p2p crypto.
Yes, dogecoin is ideal for daily trading. The volume is huge everyday that's why you'll never stuck with this coin. But just because we've said that it's good for day trading, there might be some newbies that will misunderstood it.

Which means that there's still a chance of losing with dogecoin if you're not good in proper timing of selling and buying it. I think with buying, there's nothing wrong on it but with selling, this should be not on a critical time.

Agree, Dogecoin is suitable for trading if we want to get profit without too much risk. Aside from being traded on almost all major exchangers, the current Dogecoin price is quite cheap. In addition, as an alternative transaction, Dogecoin is quite fast and also has low cost
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you Believe Volume of the Coinmarketcap? on: November 14, 2019, 08:57:21 AM
Do you Believe Exchange Volume of the Coinmarketcap?
Also Do you believe exchange volume?
I think all the exchanges are fake!!!

This issue is always discussed and debatable. Some exchangers do fake their transaction volume to make it look big, but in my opinion not all exchangers do this. I don't think big executors would do this because it is related to the reputation they have
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the Bounty program is over? on: November 14, 2019, 08:53:16 AM
I don't think the Bounty program is over.
Of course, the ICO market has died a lot, but I think the Bounty program will continue until a new marketing plan is released.
Or if there is a new marketing plan that I don't know about, please let me know.

Indeed the condition of the bounty campaign is different now from a few years ago but I think the bounty campaign is not over. The new project still needs a bounty campaign program so that the project is known by the cryptocurrency community. Indeed, at this time we have to do more research so that our bounties are not in vain
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat-to-crypto - what's with the fees? on: November 14, 2019, 08:48:56 AM
Trying to understand how the fee system works and why exchanging from fiat is much more expensive than exchanging crypto.

Ok, cryptocurrency exchange fees are usually very low because it costs little to nothing in fees to exchange them, unlike fiat itself. Banks charge a commission for everything, and there are many regulations and financial bodues to contend with who would ultimately want their own piece of the cake.

That might explain why there's a 0.25% fee when you exchange crypto on changelly, for example, and 7% fees when you want to exchange from fiat.
But at the same time, there are services with a much lower fee. BUT lower payment doesn't guarantee good quality service. And this is where I want to hear your opinion

Question #1 - how often do you buy crypto with fiat?
Question #2 - how do you choose the platform? Are there any other criterions than the amount of fee? Security, speed of transaction, simplicity, friendly service?
Aren't you afraid that your personal data may be stolen or sell somehow?

Yes exchanging fiat into crypto currencies cost more if we are going to compare it in exchaging crypto currencies into crypto currencies only. In my case,we have local exchange that I am using in exchanging fiat to crypto currencies and vice versa.

Of course a platform is very important, first is it available in our country. Do we have options that we can easily cashin and cashout, as it is the most important in every platform that you need to choose. And with fees, as long as it is reasonable then I have no problem with it.

In my country, people can deposit using fiat money and directly transact with cryptocurrency. I don't know whether our local exchangers have been regulated or not, but it seems that bitcoin or crypto have become commodities so we can trade with fiat money more easily and cheaply
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain infrastructure be used in healthcare? on: November 14, 2019, 08:45:35 AM
Some steps have been taken to use blockchain technology to store, protect, and make patient data decentralized.

Because in most hospitals around the world, patient data can be easily manipulated, and some people manage this data and benefit from it.

Do you think it's right to store patient data on the blockchain? Is it safer and more privacy-oriented?

You can also check this article

Blockchain technology should be able to provide solutions for health infrastructure. With safer and integrated data, the healthcare industry can use blockchain technology to keep patient data confidential but can be accessed by all hospitals in need. This will be useful for health research and for patients themselves because with complete and safe data, the chances of patients being given the right treatment are greater
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: November 13, 2019, 05:07:38 AM
Start buying altcoins before its too late, the red market you are all complaining about is a big opportunity for those who knows that altcoin time will arrive, all you need to do is ....

1. Buy altcoins that have real use cases or backed with real wprking product, they tend to always have value better than copied projects.

2. Take it or leave it, new good projects will bring better ROI than many old altcoins, feels like we've seem how far old altcoins can go already, now its new altcoins time.

I agree with this opinion. Even though the cryptocurrency market is in a downtrend, there is an opportunity for us to accumulate good altcoins. In my opinion, the crypto market will recover and can happen at any time because cryptocurrency has begun to be known by many people and many media have started covering news about the crypto market
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best telegram channels for bounties ? on: November 06, 2019, 06:10:45 AM
I recently joined a great telegram channel for the announcement of bounties.  What do you think are the best ones to join?

Thanks, -CR

I prefer to join the bounty manager channel that is already in good standing in this forum, waiting for a new project that they manage. Telegram groups that contain new bounties might be good for knowing new projects that have bounties but not all bounties are good. But if we choose a bounty manager who already has a good reputation, I think the project is also legit
