how can i mine solo with new miner quark_cpuminer-2.3.2_w64 ?

i start quarcoind-qt but i cant connect with cpuminer ?!
If the quarkcoin client is on the same pc use 127.0.0.1 aka localhost, if quarkcoin is on a different pc check your firewall and ports.

I don't care about a reasonable premine if the coin has new features that show the dev put some work into it.

MrDigriz949: oh sh!t, I am famous: 15 min fork, just for test "how does it work" + asking to compile it for windows on bitcointalk, results: CPUcoin is RELEASED in "Alternate Crypto" by person who compiled it, original topic removed by moderator and i am famous... LOL. I don't know what to think about it... *CRAZY*
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CPUcoin : Beware of possible scam on: August 20, 2013, 03:15:48 PM
Maybe you should try to debunk the claims made against you, or your coin will fail even more miserably.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPUCoin - CPU mined currency (whirlpool based) on: August 20, 2013, 02:54:45 PM
1 mil + coin premined, what a garbage, forget it.
~8500 blocks x 2048 coins = 17000000+ coins

I'm not sure I'm following - is there a GPU miner for quarkcoin?
Almost done, 1.2MHs on 6770, still plenty of room for optimization. Not sure that I will release it, SRC coin is approaching Smiley

Maybe we should set up a bounty?
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPUCoin - CPU mined currency (whirlpool based) on: August 20, 2013, 12:22:22 PM
Any word on why you lied about the hashing algortihm?
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPUCoin - CPU mined currency (whirlpool based) on: August 20, 2013, 11:43:13 AM
You have to be patient, you will find some blocks soon.
I find lots of blocks due to not getting any blocks downloaded from the two nodes OP posted...
Could have been nice if OP had not lied about the origin and algo of the coin but meh, back to QRK.  Tongue
No, Quarkcoin has been checkpointed.
Ofcourse, I'm such a noob.  Grin
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPUCoin - CPU mined currency (whirlpool based) on: August 20, 2013, 11:36:59 AM
That's quite the fail then.  Roll Eyes
edit: If the hashrate of this coin grew close to 51% of Quarkcoin, could the blockchain take over?
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPUCoin - CPU mined currency (whirlpool based) on: August 20, 2013, 11:13:45 AM
Sifcoin: chain in sha-3 candidate-finalis-win function Blake=>BMW=>Groestl=>JH=>Keccak=>Skein
Quarkcoin: 9 rounds of hashing from 6 hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein)
CPU-Coin: whirlpool based https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whirlpool_%28cryptography%29 (at least that's what the OP claims, wiki says nothing of the above hash functions)

Maybe someone can clear up if Quarkcoin is a direct clone of Sifcoin or had some changes in the algorithm, if CPU-Coin's algo is Whirlpool and if they are all the same or not...

If someone could post some nodes, that would be great too as I only have 1 connection and no blocks.

edit @ post below: lol

good move
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPUCoin - CPU mined currency (whirlpool based) on: August 20, 2013, 10:02:38 AM
CPUcoin [CPC] was released 2 days ago, 18 August in China already.
may be 4 days ago?))
debug.log should contain the time when the blocks were found.
I somehow trashed my boost libraries, will have a look later, seems the initial gold fever is over anyways. Tongue
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPUCoin - CPU mined currency (whirlpool based) on: August 20, 2013, 09:56:50 AM
To be honest I don't like regional premines. CopperLark did the same and that's what holds it down imo.

476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] 7800 STOLEN - Please read / help on: August 19, 2013, 09:32:18 AM
Perhaps he brute forced the root password and got into SSH/SFTP? If so, Fail2ban could have prevented that and i recommend every server user to install it. Those VPS mining guides, while useful, did not take malicious intent into account.
Sucks man...
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: August 19, 2013, 09:22:11 AM
Maybe an announcement thread for the CPU miner (which works great) would be useful to draw even more miners to this coin (if you want that, hurting your income, possibly rising the price though)...
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: August 17, 2013, 04:35:51 PM
chmod a+x autogen.sh
./autogen.sh

Do these two things first (has been posted above  Tongue).
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: August 17, 2013, 03:08:03 PM
There was a similar high bounty for making Coin Control compatible with Yacoin.
Where is that? I think we need an official YAC bounty threat first. There is one at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=200311.120, but it seems not in use much...
I can't find it, but I am very sure I read such a post. ~1 Month ago...

Download from the link he posted earlier.
Virtual server gets 258 kH/s with the wallet, 288 kH/s with the new miner.  Grin
