462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NVC killed BTC-E and Coinotron? on: February 14, 2013, 05:03:49 PM
Yeah i'll take some tickets to russia to Smiley i always wanted to travel there, and not so expensive for me as i'll be coming from europe not US Cheesy

also yeah totally agree with your attitude to DDOS... and really like the idea of just mining the coin and driving the price down to 0 Tongue sounds like a way to at least somewhat hinder the whole PUMP and DUMP thing... i been meaning to look into setting up a pool ... and I would be very interested in setting up a pool for such activity... anyone else interested? any thoughts?

Lol yeah, do it. But please post your face afterwards if you see the price to climb back up (endif)
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NVC killed BTC-E and Coinotron? on: February 14, 2013, 03:59:48 PM

465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-E questionable practices on: February 13, 2013, 04:56:26 PM
saddens me to see the hashing power dedicated to it over at coinotron to Sad come on people read a bit before jumping on a bandwaggon!!

While it is profitable ppl will mine it. I dont see any kind of scam here, if i had my own exchange and one of the devs/mods made their own coin i would def include it in the exchange
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FreiCoin (FRC) discussion (was FreiCoin (FRC) for TRC, PPC, LTC or BTC) on: February 12, 2013, 01:15:55 PM
is there a new projection when the diff will drop?
It could take anywhere between two weeks to four months. Yesterday there were only three blocks found, which means it would take almost 130 days until the difficult drops.

four months... well.. that means that its officially dead.

Coz in the mean time more and more miners will lose their interest (and their patience)
Plus, it was a fail coin from the beginning of its time (the reasons are all in this thread)

479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Pool] Rucoin - scrypt & sha256 on: February 09, 2013, 08:29:55 AM
There are another 2 pools for rucoin except focalway.

They are

http://pool.rucoin.us for Sha256, connection instructions on there, and
http://spool.rucoin.us for Scrypt, connection instructions on there too.

So point your miners there and get some RUC's while its easy enough

Note: pools are not mine, they are from user "hashy" (not sure about his nick here), and they are still in beta stage but seem to work more than great

Enjoy
