441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 110K premined NVC is successfully destroyed ! on: February 15, 2013, 05:40:01 PM
Could someone give a rundown of what happened?  Whose 110K premined coins were those?  Who started NVC?  Why did BTC-e feel it necessary to destroy them?  Why have people lost trust in BTC-e?

From my pov:

Balthazar makes NVC, and mines 110k coins (for the chain testing i assume)
He sends those coins on btc-e as a guarantee fund, and btc-e adds nvc trading
Everyone gone crazy "lets ddos those f*ckers, and the pools" (coz the price of nvc was/is higher than ltc)
Btc-e felt like destroying those coins for everyone to be ok with it
Everyone now asks btc-e to remove nvc trading (coz they didnt catch up when the diff was low enough and losing money(from ltc)
Some ask btc-e if it doesnt remove nvc trading, to add the coin that they have more of (search in threads)
Some call btc-e and/or Balthazar a scammer for creating and adding this coin in btc-e, even after the "premined" coins destroyed, like its their own exchange and their opinion is a rule for btc-e
-end
442  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scammer Accusation] BTC-e.com or Balthazar on: February 15, 2013, 05:03:43 PM
LOL Balthazar and/or btc-e are now scammers for creating a coin you dont like??? Get real ppl, get real...

And by the way learn what open source means, you can create one too, and then should i open a scam accusation? Other than that i dont (personally) agree on that accusation, plus it gets funnier day by day.

Edit: if i remember well, you have said on a pm that you gonna create your own coin, that means insta-scammer?

Edit2: If you can read, those coins are destroyed, what is your problem now? You want nvc removed from btc-e? Im sure that is the cause.
443  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Who owns BTC-E? on: February 15, 2013, 03:58:33 PM
New member Roadtrain with a postcount of 10, most of them btc-e defending posts.... THINK

1: yes, it could be a fake address. buy WHY would you trust someone with SO MUCH MONEY who uses a fake phone and address?

2: If you are going to use a fake address, WHAT A COINCIDENCE, that he randomly picked the same fake address that the scammers used in the "perfect-cargo.net" scam?

dont use their service then and problem solved
444  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Who owns BTC-E? on: February 15, 2013, 03:48:01 PM
I think you've gone crazy, there's no way that Simran is a mod.

thats why i corrected it afterwards
what i meant on my correction was that users that might have a high coin volume might have a different tag and thats why they are cyan(blue) on there
445  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Who owns BTC-E? on: February 15, 2013, 02:28:59 PM
Whoever the owners are the only thing they are really required to do is provide smooth, fair and transparent services to their users.
It's up to them to decide what to add and what to remove. It's their service and no one has the right to say that they "should" remove NVC.
They added NVC. It's done. Just stop complaining and trade in pairs you want.

+1

I would like to share here the btc-e users list i got from inside the rucoin client.

Cyan = mods
Green= users
Gray = dev
Red  = support

Its kinda offtopic, but also kinda ontopic  Wink

EDIT: Forgot the link: http://www.rucoin.us/btceusers.png

A correction here. Cyan colored users might indicate high coin volume.
(and after i posted that my rucoin client cannot see the chat at all, but it might be my pc fault)

448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIP BTC-E - how many coins could you be losing? on: February 15, 2013, 12:02:36 PM
i have 2.5BTC and about 3000LTC.

still not bad, i coulda had 200k LTC and 100BTC.. atleast this teaches the noobs to not throw all their eggs into one basket.

i still think BTC-E will come back, but they been DDOS'ed to hell the last couple days by NVC haters, so maybe they just switched off their server for a few hours and used the time to do some crucial updates.

only time will tell

LTC users that got scared ^^

Lol... in the meantime all this happens LTC hashrate goes up, so guess who is behind those ddos'es and all those threads  Cool
Is it the 10-20 persons that hold most of the litecoins? No? They must have been ultra pissed that their investment didnt go up, but also scared. Now i really hope that nvc was a joke, for those persons to reveal what they are. If now nvc vanishes, ltc too will drop bellow zero.

Interesting. You keep mentioning this "10-20 persons" holding most ltc, how did you figure it out, can you share with us? how about people holding btc?

Other than some kind of insider connection w/ btc-e, I can't think of a way to find that information.

If they do exist, how did they get their coins? pre-mining? accepting as bribes? stealing?

If none above, why is that bothering you? If someone mortgaged his house and invested in LTC, he's either a genius or an idiot, only market has the right to reward or punish him,  nobody else should be upset about it.

But using market participants' trust to manipulate the market is simply wrong.

Lol now im a btc-e insider eh? Shame we dont have a facepalm emoticon here...

Look around you, look on the litecoin forum the most active users, look on this forum how many threads smoothie started ONLY today (dont forget he has a contract with 420 to buy 700$ worth ltc)
I am only some months here on the forums and on btc-e chat, and only from this info i got to that conclusion, i do not have the right to have my own opinion? Smiley

Other than that, nobody can access btc-e, and on the other thread they keep saying "they banned me too" "they censored me too" "i just removed my funds from there"... How the hell? if it isnt to scare the ppl off why is that? I keep asking and asking how to access their chat (by the possibility of there is another link only to the chat) but no reply..
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-E questionable practices on: February 14, 2013, 09:27:59 PM
It turns out that address has been used by both...'companies'

Not a good sign. Laughingbear left the information in the chat (i think) and that was also censored. The little uneducated troll 'blanco' is happily trying to pull more people into this mess and he will not be censored or banned, of course.

efx can you explain me where is the btc-e chat, i cannot load the page as i get a timeout. where is the place you are talking about? It def isnt the trollbox inside the btc-e page
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Moved all My funds off BTC-E] BTC-e editing chat wow - on: February 14, 2013, 09:02:41 PM
Are you guys just trolling? How the hell you open the chat? I cannot even get in the page...

I just moved the last of my money out of BTC-e.

I am done with their exchange until this bullshit blows over.

Good luck to any of you who decide to put up with BTC-e's bullshit.

You just did, with the exchange beeing dosed.. Clever
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NVC killed BTC-E and Coinotron? on: February 14, 2013, 07:45:08 PM
k, i stop here.. trolls won
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NVC killed BTC-E and Coinotron? on: February 14, 2013, 07:38:30 PM
BTC-e should not HAVE TO accept a 110,000 NVC "guarantee" to add a coin to their exchange.

Right that is a GUARANTEE PROFIT for them...nothing else.

It's bullshit and I'm disappointed in BTC-e for allowing this.

RUC was one thing, but NVC is purely and simply a SCAM.

so, you are saying that they do not deserve to be payed by some way right??
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NVC killed BTC-E and Coinotron? on: February 14, 2013, 07:24:56 PM
What i (personaly) blame is that there are 10-20 persons that heavily invested in LTC hope-ing in some magic that would pump the price up and right now are losing money, and thats the reason for all that anger. <- My point of view.

I have nothing with LTC, i love it, as i love all the coins that made/make me some profit, but there shouldnt only be 10-20 persons holding most of the ltc's...

First, this guy is associated with btc-e, if I am not mistaken.
Second, your only defence is that we are all just "jealous" that we weren't in on the scam from the start?  If that is your only argument, you only prove me correct.  You are also leaving out the part where the dev bribed the most popular alt coin exchange to feature the coin.

So, that means that everyone who owns an exchange cannot try to develop a coin, or cannot have a mod in there that developed a coin... Interesting... Insta-scammer if he does, by this logic right? Let me ask you, what IF you owned btc-e, and some time one of your mods made a coin? Wouldnt you put it there up for trade? Would you be a scammer for doing so?

Just felt like i MUST quote myself
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NVC killed BTC-E and Coinotron? on: February 14, 2013, 06:59:26 PM
FYI  100,000 coins at current market value on btc-e = 640.00 BTC

640 BTC = 16640.00 USD

Yeah, WTF was I worried about?

Why you dont bitch about other members coin holdings? I dont see an 100k sell order on btc-e, and by the way, they deserve it. Please read my previous post too.

Imaginary convo with smoothie:

Me: I farted.
Smoothie: ITS A SCAM!!

no offense, i like you but...
