What kind of internet connection do you need to start a pool?
A stable one  Uh, plus a GOOD router to handle the traffic. Most routers do the job if there are 20-30 ppl mining, but you gonna have trouble for 30+ ppl |

The mining reward is a factor of the PoW so if the coins become popular, price goes up, more miners will join, reward will go up, more coins introduced, priced will stay more stable. If the price goes down the opposite will happen

After a few days at http://give-me-ltc.com/index I can tell it works very well, prompt payments and nice people. I'ts worth a try! (Income and hashrate graphs are cool, server is always up and support stratum+proxy) Yup, this and p2pool seem to be the most reliable ones atm |

Anyone with a substantial amount stolen care to start a scam accusation thread?
I only lost like 3 LTC and with the amount of withdrawals it would be hard for me to clearly quantify it in an obvious fashion with screenshots.
I knew I should have better documented the theft at the time it happened but at that time I didn't wan to believe it was a theft.
I have lost about 1-3 ltc max if i remember correctly, and i wont open a thread for that. Ppl that lost much, must make an accusation thread though. Btw, i can buy your accounts (with balance) for 1/10 of their balance. So if interested pls pm me(not sure yet) |

The LTC to BTC rate is 0.02850000.
10 LTC is worth 0.28500000 BTC
285 BBQ would be a fair price for 10 LTC
I support this ^^ 0.001 btc per coin should be (and is) a fair price for it. (btw, as everyone knows, when an exchange for a "new" coin opens, price always goes up(such exchange is rumored)) |

I got current number of blocks and multiplied by 42 (assuming 42 was the block reward from the beginning of its time) so we have 366331 blocks * 42 reward = 15385902 coins in circulation atm dont know the final number of coins though, maybe its the same as litecoin, 84M(?!) uh, and btw it maybe forked again? I have current number of blocks: 366537 and Estimated total blocks: 366331 Which indicates something is wrong here  EDIT: uh ignore me on the last one, i see that current & estimated # on bitcoin and litecoin and current is always higher So I keep on sellin |

I cannot even determine if it safe and reliable to mine trc... Or even predict my daily coins earned. This has to be the most confusing alt. What does 1 g/h earn right now? The diff also bounces around so much i am unclear if the core prob from a few days ago is resolved.
It seems the core problems from before are resolved and things are more stable now. Coinotron turned their pool back on, at 400Gh+ atm. As far as earnings go, that's hard to say because the difficulty does move around a lot. When it hits the 5255 floor it seems quite profitable at the current price. The surges in difficulty come and go, they don't remain constant. http://www.cryptocoinexplorer.com:3750/chain/Terracoin?count=20miners bumps too (causing this diff movements?) ; check coinotron for example, number of miners and TRC hashrate more than doubles every now and then I think coinotron made a system for the miners, to auto redirect their hashing power to the most profitable coin at that moment. |

Well, great then. I wish it'll go to 1:1 ratio with btc or even more... but highly doubt it after what happened. mr_random, you are right, scam is a harsh word, "trick" it would fit better. I was one of the supporters one time, no need to bash what can make you money but trc isnt (as i see it now) sth to make you money |

I was under the impression the problems had finally been fixed, network looks healthy now, new diff calculations appear to be working.
Yeah, what im saying is that EVEN the dev scammed/tricked everybody to sell by this event that happened, which kinda seems made up for that reason(if you read the other threads you will get the same impression). So, its dead/dying. Again im saying that i may be wrong. disclaimer: i didnt had much, i had around 200 and sold half of them in that event, so i am not saying what i say coz "im butthurt" (just sayin  ) |

Yep, but it sucked for some ppl that even THE DEV was spreading FUD's about it just to buy some, if you get me. The coin is and will be dead as of now (after that event) Of course only time will tell, maybe im wrong.. but that was not cool |
