Hi,

Yesterday I made a deposit to user name GotFob for 0.5 BTC,
and my wallet showed a transaction of 0.5001 BTC with over 150 confirmations, yet I cannot see this amount reflected on my "Cashier" section.

Is there anywhere else I should look at?

Thanks in advance for helping
Hello Carleton,

We see your deposit and have credited your account with the .50 BTC.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

Yesterday we were experiencing some down time with the server and this may have caused the transaction to go in limbo in our backend.

Thank you for your patience.

Enjoy.

and what do you think about adding hourly GTD MTTs, like the one seals has? It makes a regular traffic probable.
Working on the schedule for this next.

When I try to login through your html5 platform, it shows error asking me in the "Login" blank: Please match the requested format!
What is the format then? I tried through Chrome browser, Windows 7, on my laptop.
I just tried the HTML5 client and it worked fine for me.

Make sure you don't have any spaces in the user name that you are typing.

Also try using a different browser, it could be one of your add ons causing the issue.

Everything is back up!

Sorry for the downtime, this was a simple misunderstanding with our hosting provider.

Freerolls on the way!

First we apologize for the downtime, we seem to be having some server issues with our hosting provider.

We are currently having some problems getting the HTML5 client and cash tables back up.

Tournaments and Deposits/Withdrawals are working.

We will update all of you when we have more information on the error.

HTML5 site, on my HTC Evo 4g LTE, I played freeroll and the entire screen when playing was doubles and off center.  Was strange.  Like I saw the table, then another exact replica, off to the left a little, so it looked like 18 players at a table, really hard to play.  Won though.  Ideas?
We are working to convert the html5 client into an app as there are some similar issues on all devices.

Few suggestions:

Besides the HU SNG we could try 6max s110 and s220.. maybe we can get 6 players for it if it's not too expensive Smiley even though I would prefer tourneys especially since register for SNG 6max might take long.

I find the R/A tourneys a bit weird sometimes. Starting chips: s1500, rebuy s1500 allowed at s100 or less. Rebuy 2x: available Huh. I can't remember experiencing this at stars or party. Most times you can just rebuy at starting chips or less (s1500) if I remember correct? The weird issue with this is that you must go allin with this to either double or get 100 or less. Because if you get 100 or less you can easily get 3000 chips and be chipleader.

Example: if you play good and manage to win up to s2500. Then nooby loses, rebuys 2x and has s3000. This seems unfair to me. So either rebuy 2x has to be disabled OR you can rebuy already at starting chips (so obviously a "good" player would rebuy at start of tourney.) The last option seems common to me (if I remember correctly I don't play R/A that often.)

Unless of course this is on purpose and you try to provoke a strange even more aggressive strategy :p

I would personally like some more normal 6max s500+50 BI tourneys. I also think people don't like 110 turbo R/A so much, even though $1 turbo R/A is popular structure on other poker clients.

And I like the idea of 10.000 nightly GTD.. just not sure when it is :p

edit: We just finished the tourney at 12:00 PM (for me in Asia) and the next is 08:00 PM.. 8 hours between the tourneys is just a lot, I hope there will be more tourneys soon :p even though it's probably night every where in USA/EU, still worth a try :p

I will add some 6max SNG games today. Lets see if we can get some filled up Smiley

I now see what is going wrong with the addon codes. Basically, rebuy should be available when player has 1500 or lower, but due to some settings it doesnt work now. I will fix this tonight so single rebuy is available at <=1500 chips and double rebuy is available at 0 chips. This setting was not a result of trying to provoke an aggressive strategy. That would be silly :p

I will set up a template to start some 6max s500+50 throughout the day. I will also add some more variety in the tournament structures and buyins to see what people like to play Smiley

Thanks a lot for the constructive feedback!

You should ask that in the Satoshi Dice thread Wink

Is it possible to auto remove afk players from tournaments too? I was in one a day or two ago where we had like 7 people out of 40+ that were actually there. The rest sat out the entire time.

Yeah, I was present at this. It was at night, somewhere between 11pm-3/4am CST, can't remember exactly. It was pretty messed up. If I recall correctly, at one point, there was one table with four people battling it out. Another table had two players taking turns taking the afk blinds and essentially dividing all the afk stacks between themselves. And on another table, there was only one player present who was just fast clicking and scooping all the afk stacks. Not only did some players gain an (?unfair) advantage becaus eof all the afks, but it also made the game last unnecessarily (and excruciatingly) longer than it should have, waiting for the 30+ players to slowly blind out.

Thanks for the freerolls and I know you're still tweaking a lot of things so the freerolls might not be a priority, but...

might I kindly suggest - for freerolls only - possibly trying something along the lines of:

- at the start of the second level, removing players who have been sitting out all through the first level.
- removing players who have been sitting out for more than a certain reasonable number of hands in a row, like 10-20 hands in a row.
- make the freerolls turbo - 5-6 min levels. (I like the 6-max format that is sometimes used bc of the action it generates)
- shorten registration time to 20-15 mins prior to start (sure, you might not get as many runners, but if people reg and don't bother to play/show up or just reg hoping to finish in the money without playing, then what's the point?)

Again, these suggestions are just for freeolls. Buy-in tournaments are a different story, obv since players being removed in a freeroll would't be losing any buy-ins.

On related a side note, I was playing one of the FR's last night and a storm knocked out power in my area early/midway in. I was somewhere in the middle of the pack as far as stack size. I think there were around 30 or so people entered. Anyway, to make a long story longer, I log in later later when the power comes back and find that I finished in the money (6th) with the final four players still playing. So yeah, I was definitely afk for mor than 20++ hands in a row and still finished itm over some who were actually present and playing.

Not complaining about finishing itm while afk, but I do know how it sucks to get knocked out on/near the bubble while there are afk/sitting out people still around who never played a hand.

Anyway, Thanks again for the FR's and I'm looking forward to more traffic and more games as you guys keep improving things.

This sitout issue is starting to annoy me a little. For solving this issue we would need to have our development team build an entire function for kicking players when they sitout x hands from the start. The freerolls are already 6 minute blind levels and I believe that shortening that will take away fun from the game as it will become more of a crap shoot than actual poker. We have shortened the registration window to 30 minutes before start of the freeroll already. I believe that the people who take the effort to sign up these accounts 30 minutes before the tournament would do exactly the same if it was a 10 minute registration window.

I will be looking at the freerolls more closely the following days and if I find people constantly sitting out from the freerolls, i will start blocking them from the tournaments. Thats all I can do for now...

We have released an update for the downloadable client. Unfortunally we can't have it updated with the autoupdate function, so downloading the client from www.satoshipoker.org/SatoshiPokerSetup.exe is needed to update the client.

The fixes include
- changed bet color to white so it is better visible on the dark green background
- changed the blind announcements, they no longer cover the cards
- changed the 2nd confirmation before tournament starts. When registered for a tournament it will just open the tournament table when tourney starts
Plus some features that make some data better readable and filterable.

We are still working on the hand history feature which will allow players to use huds and addon software as pokertracker. Also our bonus systems should be done soon Wink

we'll keep you up to date!

Care to expand on why the auto updater cant be used?  Just curious.

The fixes are great though.  Good Job.

I asked the developping company and they told me that many things are set in separate files which can be updated easily but the main client file can't be updated with autoupdate. I asked them to change that asap, because it looks horrible Wink

Hey there! Some constructive criticism for you:

1) I love the site and the way it looks. It's fluid and it just "feels" great. The tournaments page is awesome!

2) The HTML client is perfect, if you're on a portable device. It looks and feels like you'd expect on an iPhone and such. But when you move to a real PC/laptop/etc., it just doesn't feel right. Essentially it's giving that iPhoney vibe on the PC that really isn't too good. If it'd be possible to make a client, or at least adapt the current one to separate between PC users and those on portable devices, I think that would be perfect.

I love the site and I look forward to seeing what you guys have in store for the future!

We always had the plan for having 2 different clients for mobile play and for live play on the website, but it was most convinient to launch the html5 client first. We will start working on our flash based client now, which will be more suited for pc and notebook play. We will never stop moving forward.

Thanks for your input!

Can you try Firefox (latest) and report back please? It could be an isolated issue for your monitor, or the chromium version you are using.

It's fine in firefox 20.0.  About>Firefox doesn't report the useragent string any more it seems, just "20.0".

The version of chromium where it doesn't work right is "Version 25.0.1364.160 Ubuntu 12.10".

I tried playing in the HTML5 version, but it disconnected twice within about 5 minutes, so I switched back to the Windows client.

I was trying to chat at the time.  I don't know if that's what caused the disconnections, or if that's unrelated.

I tried watching the game in firefox's HTML5 interface, but it doesn't really work.  I don't know if it's because firefox's javascript engine is slower or what, but one CPU core runs pretty much flat out, and I don't get to see any community cards on the table.  Also, bottom line of text on the table is half off the screen.  Resizing the window often doesn't result in a redraw; presumably the code is lagging too much.  Here are a couple of screenshots at different window sizes in firefox with the text off the bottom of the screen.  Notice in one it has forgotten to (or not got around to) draw the player stack sizes yet:

I did eventually get to see a card on the table, but it was face down.  I expect it was meant to be an animation of a player folding their cards, but it just sat still in the middle of the table for over a minute while I screenshotted it:

In Chromium, on the other hand, the animations all work fine, and I get to see the cards as I hear them.  (In firefox I hear cards being dealt onto the table, but don't see them).  The CPU is still high while viewing a table.  It drops right down in both firefox and chromium as soon as I go back to the lobby screen.  The text at the bottom of the table isn't cut off in chromium, at any size, and as I resize the window, the table scales nicely to fit (until I make it too narrow, at which point it tells me to 'rotate my device' (whatever that is meant to mean)):

Thank you for your detailed report.

We take bugs very seriously, and will try to address these as soon as possible.

These bugs are happening in Linux it seems, as on my windows and mac the HTML5 client has been working flawless.

Nevertheless we will pinpoint the issue and fix it.

But woahh, it's so big haha. I guess it's good for people who use their phone though

Whether I make the browser window big or small, the font size is automatically adjusted so it's just too big to fit in the tabs:

I don't have that issue http://screencast.com/t/GiEipuGynHmz

HTML5 IS HERE!!!

I can't use it because I don't remember my password.

It's saved in the Windows client, but that won't let me copy/paste it.

There's no password reset link on the HTML5, and the one in the Windows client takes me to a page that asks me for my email address, and when I type it and click the 'restore' button, it just reloads the same page, never sending me an email.

If I put in the wrong email, it tells me "A player with such email does not exist in the system", so I guess it's working with the right email.  But the email doesn't arrive.  The web page doesn't say it has sent it either, just takes me back to the form that asks for my email address.

Oh, never mind, I remember it.  Smiley

But you should offer some way of resetting the password from both places.
there seems to be an issue with the restore password. We'll start fixing that immediately
