461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: May 30, 2019, 07:07:50 PM
“You should only invest in an ICO project if you are an experienced investor, confident in the quality of the ICO project itself,”
There is a huge part to this statement that it is really true. We just don't need money in investing, we need knowledge and skills nefore we invest to a project through ICO. What should we do, we should always try little by little by testing the waters and at the same time developing our skills before we involve ourselves in investing.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better ICO, STO Or IEO ? on: May 30, 2019, 06:57:23 PM
I just want to pause a while and give my respect to ICO which really give everyone a chance to make their dreams come true. Though some really took advantage of it, it is undeniably great in terms of launching a token or a coin. But among the three (3), ICO, IEO and STO, I prefer to chose IEO as of this time because the token will be listed immediately to a certain exchange which give assurance to those who invested on the project.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna phase out very soon? on: May 30, 2019, 06:44:14 PM
Everything is possible especially now that most of the investors have less confidence on supporting ICOs and they are now emerging another options like STOs and IEOs. Well, as for me the only constant thing in this world is CHANGE so if they are better than ICO then so be it. We are just here to support good projects.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: May 29, 2019, 06:34:05 PM
ICOs were experiencing hard times right now but it is not definitely dead. Well, as for me ICO is still an effective way to make a Bounty Campaign if it will be managed properly and correctly. I am hoping that the time will come that they will come up to really regulate it to be able to prevent scammers to do their thing again.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: May 29, 2019, 05:23:20 PM
I say regulation will in the end be a good thing for crypto..

Like any such process, the result is not perfect from start. If the process is led by entities against Bitcoin, the first results will be awful.
Yes, at the end it should be beneficial for everybody, but it may be important also what happens "in between". And that's why our side should try to work on some drafts, if possible (I really don't know how).
You've got a good point. It is important that they consult us as cryptocommunity to be able them to understand how the system really works and how they can regulate Bitcoin effectively. I am still hoping that everything will be in order and will be executed just fine. Regulation will really help us and it is one way to protect everyone from any kinds of scams.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a whale is buying Bitcoin then I too will buy Bitcoin. on: May 29, 2019, 04:59:41 PM
If the whales are secretly buying up Bitcoin than I will buy Bitcoin at the current market rate. Even if it goes to 2500$. Gives me sum hope in the crypto space. Only if I find out they are buying through forums etc.
You are right, the buying power of whales will definitely have a great impact to the market growth and tokens value. If only there is someone who can give us a go signal to buy that will be a good thing because everyone is really waiting for that moment. I really feel that Botcoin will have a great comeback. Hoping for the best.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors need to face reality on: May 28, 2019, 09:00:37 PM
Right now, I feel the upward movement of Bitcoin and I think Altcoins will follow this movement. I am still positive about what is happening right now and still believing that time will come and Bitcoin will make a good comeback or even better after all the corrections. I know that some faint-hearted individuals already give-up and that is just fine. We are really in a good battle. I hope that Investors will still believe in ICO and will continue on supporting good projects.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time for investment? on: May 28, 2019, 08:36:11 PM
Don't think to stop investing in Cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin. It is true that we experience bearish market and season but it doesn't mean that it will stop there. Right now, Bitcoin is starting to kick a little but just think it, this is just a great opportunity to invest while it is really affordable to buy Bitcoin and it is starting to increase in value.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: May 27, 2019, 11:47:10 PM
Airdrops which is asking for personal information is not recommended, there's always a risk especially if the project is not usable, always be careful when you are thinking with joining in any types of this market, think of your security as always.
I totally agree. I am not willing to sacrifice my personal information for a little amount of money from airdrops. They are giving free coins yet they are also asking for you to do something for them, I think that is enough for now and KYC is inappropriate right now especially that their coins initially have no value at all.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less price = more profit? on: May 27, 2019, 11:35:15 PM
Buying tokens for less price doesn't necessarily translate to huge profits, it can only mean more profit when you chose good project with prospects and reliable team committed to the development of the project to the fullest
This a good point. No matter how many coins or tokes you bought of it has no value in the future, that will be a non profitable option. I think we have to be very careful in choosing the coins to support so that we will have a good profit. We should also look at many factors that will make it happen like the team behind the project.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty may be an income medium for unemployed youth. on: May 27, 2019, 11:25:07 PM
Smiley I think many unemployed youth working in Bounty at the present time are using their free time to earn income.
 What is your valuable opinion?
I agree to that. Instead of wasting their tome to other things and vices, some of our youth learn to produce their own income through Cryptocurrency which includes joining in a Bounty. The good thing is on their early age, they have the willingness to help theor own family in a good way.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2019, 06:48:13 PM
The acceptance of the government plays a very important role in the development of Bitcoin on that country. Well, if the government declares that Bitcoin is allowed and it can be freely used as alternative mode of payment. I guess research and development will also be initiated and supported by the government. Though rules and regulations will be implemented, it will surely secure and protect the transactions being done.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CORRECT ME ON THIS PLEASE. on: May 24, 2019, 06:36:07 PM
As far as I remember, the word HODL was a slang term for hold. It was being uttered by a drunk user of bitcointalk named "GameKyuubi" who posted the wrong spelling of hold which is hodl on his post entitled "I AM HODLING". Then the rest is history, since then the word hodl has been used instead of hold in Cryptocurrency.

Here's the link of the original post last December 18, 2013.

Note:
Correct me also If I am wrong. I am open for corrections.

474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your view of BTC stable while altcoin pumpin? on: May 24, 2019, 06:21:15 PM
Stable? When does Bitcoin became stable? Well, that was so uncommon scenario if that really happens to Bitcoin. As far as I know, Bitcoin and Altcoins were known for its volatility. I think, you can't just recognize the movement in Bitcoin because compared to Altcoin, Bitcoin have larger value so the difference of the change is quite little in term of figures.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?? Or I'm too late?? on: May 24, 2019, 02:09:37 PM
Well, this is the best time to buy Bitcoin because of its lower cost. But we have to be patient when we are doing long-term investment because we are still waiting for the market to consistently grow. But if we know how to trade, I don't think buying Bitcoin now will be a problem.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Create a MyEtherWallet on: May 23, 2019, 06:05:23 PM
This is a very nice post and I think that this will be very helpful specially for newbies. Though I think there are plenty of tutorials on how to create an ETH wallet, well as for me this is quite detailed and easy to understand with screenshots and tips.

Thanks for this. Keep it up!
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Bounty hunters on: May 23, 2019, 05:34:13 PM
there should be new moderators that can fish out bad projects on here to avoid wasting time of bounty hunters
I think you are referring to Bounty Managers which chooses projects to manage. My question is that, So Bounty Managers can decide on their own? Or there are persons behind the Bounty Managers who will decide for their projects? We'll of that would be the case, if there is a team behind the Bounty Managers, they should really consider other people like Investors and Bounty Hunters, take time to research and make sure that they will really get a good project. That way, everybody will be happy and ICO will regain its reputation and momentum.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending wrong erc20 tokens on: May 23, 2019, 05:22:14 PM
Is it possible a bounty provider or bounty team as the case maybe send more than what you earn on the spreadsheet to your wallet? I was reading in a bounty group where sone one said he got more than 1million token when the whole bounty pool is just 9million . won't that affect other bounty hunters from getting their reward?
It is possible I think. Human error always occur so the sender should be more careful in sending tokens or rewards. If the receiver doesn't return it or the sender lost his access to the wallet due to carelessness then that's really a problem. One scenario for this mistake is that when the sender added another zero instead of typing 1 hundred thousand tokens.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: May 22, 2019, 11:52:54 PM
Investors have been really careful to invest in an ICO project. The opportunity to invest in ICO is quite large, hopefully this year the ICO scam will decrease and Investors will no doubt invest in the ICO project.
I strongly agree. With all the scams they have experience last 2018, I am sure that they won't let that thing happen again. They are very careful now on choosing what ICO project that they willl support. I just hope that every good ICO will become successful and the investors will really have good profit from it.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: May 22, 2019, 10:16:55 PM
Are you sure it was okay for you to provide your full identity over the internet with just KYC paying? I think money is not enough if you will going to risk yourself on the crypto community. One of the feature of crypto is the anonymity, and what's the essence of KYC?
Well, you've got choices to make and these choices should not be questioned. It is your right to give or hold your personal information. Some ICO requires KYC at the end of the project and you cannot claim your reward of you don't do that. It is really pain in the ass when that happens.
