461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 15, 2017, 09:33:51 AM
For the obvious reason of course. People are holding on to their Bitcoin even if the prices now are currently going down because if the price falls then surely it'll rise too. If you could look at Bitcoins price 4-5 years ago, the value of Bitcoin was low too but it got back up and skyrocketed at that time. So if ever the hard fork will happen and Bitcoin will split into two as what people are saying then it would be an advantage to those Bitcoin holders.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: July 14, 2017, 07:00:40 AM
Of course if you won in gambling you would feel proud and happy. It excites me every time I win something out of gambling. The satisfaction from winning is sometimes indescribable to a point you would want to play more and think you would still be lucky enough to win the next round and sometimes boastful of my winnings.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 13, 2017, 03:05:22 PM
There is a big possibility Bitcoin's price will crash down but I don't think it'll go down like what it was used to 3 years ago. It may decrease its price but I'm sure it'll try to reach another new ath by then after. I really hope bitcoin will last a long long time, it had helped a lot of people even people living in the third world country.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we do now? on: July 12, 2017, 08:24:13 AM
Do you think we should buy altcoins now when it is dropping or just wait until it recover back? Also which coin has the most potential nowadays?

Yes, you should definitely buy altcoins now when price is very low. Take advantage while you can and you won't regret it. And if you're asking what coins have most potential now, there are some you can check their projects and developments too. Go to the coinmarket website and check each one of the top coins, you can either choose the 1st top 20 or top 10 and do a research if it has progress or if it has new projects then you'll know that coin is worth to invest in.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard fork statement by freebitco.in on: July 11, 2017, 12:54:50 PM
Freebitco.in is just preparing for what's coming and it had been one of the legit faucets sites I've played with too. I wouldn't be too scared if bitcoin splits in two, it would be an advantage to those who owns and holds bitcoin. But if you really feel you're not safe keeping your bitcoins stored in Freebitco.in then I think you should also trust your instincts. In the end it would still be your decision if you'll withdraw them or not.
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL on: July 11, 2017, 07:34:49 AM
I agree, we should be listening to those who are ahead of us for they know that these fluctuations right now are like a test of our patience in the crypto world. If you have iron balls and can wait even until like 5 years then it'd be worth it anyways. I will definitely HODL my bitcoin no matter what happens, because I believe in the saying "great things comes to those who wait."
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO 19 JULY] AVENTUS - ANTIFRAUD ANTI-SCALPING EVENT TICKETING ON ETHEREUM on: July 10, 2017, 11:30:40 AM
Since the constant deletion has been an issue lately, I think what we should do though is to cover up those deleted post by posting good quality topics. I think most of us have been deleted but not everyone are making a fuss out of it. I also think we still have a lot of time to make up those posts, and I myself am doing that instead of whining about the deleted post which I don't think can be returned back. It's just my opinion though and good luck!

Lets move this discussion to bounty topic, since this problem isn't related to Aventus project.

I suggest to make good posts in English in Announcement section of the forum, it will be the most helpful thing for Aventus promotion. This section has most views and most investors track announcements.
If you are talking bounty, please complain on bounty thread, dev does not take care of bounty, it becomes the responsibility of bounty manager

Here is devoted to discussing the aventus project

I apologize if this thread is ONLY for ANN discussion, I was just trying to encourage Jaycee99 instead of dreading over a post that was deleted. Sorry it won't happen again. I have very high hopes on this campaign and am reading constantly what are its new updates here regarding Aventus and its coming ICO. I just wanted to help out other participants. ICO will be starting in a few days so we are here to support the campaign and help spread out the word in this forum.

Very interesting idea,
but why do you need such high cap?

Come on read the whitepaper =.= it isnt made just to be display in this thread, you are a new or fresh jr.member that must be explore first before doing that action you just made. Sorry for being harsh but let us make a good sense post, i know there is a manager who must answer the inquiry of you but come on step outside and dont just watch.
Iam still posting my constructive post until it reach 50 and I would like to inform the head of this campaign again about my case.

This was already solve when I noted them about my case which is our moderator at our local forum is deleting old post of mine(post that is off-topic and the post that made back than when I was a newbie).

Note: Iam now posting a good post since I become a Jr. Member because the same time I want to learn and earn.

The other day I posted my case again at the thread of our signature campaign because my moderator did it again.

Iam just informing you guys again to make sure that I would get paid and to be 100% informed about my case that is repeated again.

Iam just afraid I would not get paid properly because of the deleted post of mine thinking that you might base it to my encoded starting post since I joined this campaign .

My starting post was 88 and it was fixed and 81 was encoded and yesterday It is not 81 anymore due to the deleted post.

By the way I would like to inform you that the post I made/created since I join the campaign is a good post I guarantee you.

The post was being deleted that is off topic and being deleted from time to time as our moderator announced

I would like to speak on behalf of my country that is Philippines have the same case as me.

Here is the link to prove that this is also a case every Pilipino.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2006619.0

Also have this kind of issue but i just start again posting and making meet the requirments of this campaign, i think we should adjust about what happened on our post count, if its good thread it wouldnt be deleted by the mod i guarantee, its not about your quality post but the quality of the thread.

Ps: can you dictate what those thread that you posted are deleted ? For more info.

469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum early warning on: July 10, 2017, 08:33:37 AM
I think its normal if Ethereum dumps especially in the world of trading, the price fluctuations are a normal thing. We traders just have to know how to hold our patience too and hold the coin or if it dumps, buy them at its lowest price. That's how it supposedly goes.
470  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Bitcoins and Forums on: July 09, 2017, 08:22:09 AM
And to add to the post above me, ANN threads are used for Campaigns too so if you have joined a campaign you are required to post at least once per week on the specific ANN thread for the campaign you joined (depending on the rules of the campaign). Regular topic post are everyday topics or random topics anyone has posted and you can just comment there as many as you like.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best places in SE Asia to spend Bitcoin? on: July 09, 2017, 06:26:12 AM
Based on what I read, I think its best if you travel to Vietnam and spend your bitcoin there. Or if you want to travel to another country near Vietnam you could convert your BTC to the country's currency and spend it there, Thailand would be a great place to travel I mean that's one place I'd want to visit someday.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 08, 2017, 02:56:31 PM
At first I didn't set up anything when I gamble, I just play and play and don't care if I loose a lot or not. But ever since I've realized that almost all of my money was gone in just gambling online I then decided right then and there to put a stop limit when I gamble in a day. Then from then on, I can control and set myself a time limit on when I will just play and a limit on how much I would want to play too.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like on: July 07, 2017, 05:20:28 PM
I think bitcoin will be like "the online coin", it can be the unitary coin of the internet and everyone will buy and sell services or products with this coin.
USD and EUR will be the major coins on the "real" or "physical" world, but bitcoin will have the monopoly of the internet world.

It depends, there have been online currencies before bitcoin that failed. They were not based on a blockchain of PoW though. But the point is if bitcoin doesn't keep innovating it will die just as they did and become a distant memory in the online world.

And we do hope that won't happen to bitcoin, we are here for a reason right? And this forum was created most likely because of bitcoin. Hopefully though in the near future it will be as what psmachado said "the online coin" or like an online currency wherein you can buy anything online. Bitcoin still has a bright future and I'm sure the developers are finding a way for it to be more of use for everyone.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone ever tried medicine to control impulsive gambling? on: July 06, 2017, 03:34:50 PM
Oh gosh no, and I hope I won't reach to that level however I did try to take some sleeping pills once or twice because I can't stop playing on some casino sites and couldn't sleep so I just had to take one.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT COIN IS WORTH HOLDING FOR ATLEAST A YEAR FROM NOW? on: July 05, 2017, 05:52:18 PM
In my opinion, one coin that I think is worth holding for at least a year or more would be NEM/XEM. If you could take a look at its progression and the projects or at least follow its twitter or facebook account and see its development, I think there is a huge potential in this coin years to come.
476  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best movies you have watched in 2017? on: July 05, 2017, 06:10:26 AM
Logan, Wonderwoman and John Wick 2 has been by far the best movies I've watched this year. I rarely go out that much so I watch them through an online streaming site. But there are times I watch them in a movie house, around twice a year would be my maximum times I watch them in the cinema.

Hi dev. I have changed my signature already from member to full member. I am also wearing an avatar. Please update when you have time.
I understand you are all busy. Thank you so much in advance.

Okay now I'm confused with the signature. I've noticed some full members who have different signatures, do we need to change it to the current ones? I don't want to be tagged as having "no signature" on the spreadsheet just to make things clear.

Hi there thanks for asking this as there may be others who are confused. Anyone who has used the Aventus signatures will be compensated regardless of whether they are using the previous signatures or the updated ones. The updated signatures should be listed on the updated ANN thread for any who wish to switch over. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Thank you for clarifying that. I just recently updated my signature just to make sure it won't cause any fuss on my stakes for the week. Really nice of you for responding so quickly on our concerns. Keep up the good work and looking forward of the projects success too.

479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: July 02, 2017, 09:44:22 AM

yeah, you're right bitcoin is the king of crypto,
but maybe we need to make a profit in bitcoin by make an investments on others coin my friends  Smiley

True, that's why NEM/XEM is one good altcoin worth to invest for long term because it's growth rate is great. Based on its chart it didn't really drop down that much like some other altcoins, it slowly increased it's value and when it reached it's ATH this year it may have drop down to $6k+ but it didn't go down that much and stayed stable of its price while other coins went down from the start.
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the right number of BTC to own in order to become rich in 10 years?? on: July 01, 2017, 11:05:53 AM
Probably around 1 BTC per coin you are trading is the least you could invest in, and when you say rich like how much are we talking about here?  How many figures because there are some who are contented of profiting around half a million and they can say they are rich.
