4621  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Watch out, Scammer hacked my account! Don't buy! on: August 20, 2018, 05:57:09 PM
My account got hacked today by some retard asshole.
Checks out:
Code:
Today at 11:40:50 AM - mammon - password changed

I cannot retrieve my account because there is no BTC address given, so I cannot sign a proved message to get it back Sad
How about those you sent through PM (outbox)?
- I'm sure there's a BTCitcoin address somewhere (since you've got a lot of trades on this forum):

If you want us to recover a hacked/lost account, you need to prove that you own it. Typically, the only acceptable method of proving ownership is by signing a message (including current date and desired new email address) using a Bitcoin address or PGP key associated with the account. A Bitcoin address or PGP key is associated with the account only if the account posted the key/address, sent it in a PM, or if it is still listed in the account's profile.

Regardless of that, don't get your hopes up.

continue reading changelly vs shapeshift review and comparison
Not sure what you added on your recent update (Aug, 15th) but you should search for "Changelly" on Scam Accusations board (especially for "5 & 6" on your list).

4625  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Htfx.online - SCAM on: August 20, 2018, 10:21:10 AM
This is a stupid statement and understanding of the essence.
Not the best way of responding to an accusation.

Hai tech company has been operating since 2011 and provides high-quality services in the forex market.

High Technology Solutions Limited works and provides a lot of services for the population, including now it's launching its own crypto currency. Read carefully the WhitePaper!
I've been searching online (including the whitepaper) but couldn't find its existence back in 2011, care to provide some proof?

This one?

As for the pictures of support or managers and other departments, there can be anything in the flesh to cartoons and cartoon cartoons. And this does not mean that if the avatar is taken from public photos it's bad. With the same success you can photograph live people on the street and put on your site.
No, that's not correct. A fake team is a "fake team" (end of story). Regarding the latter part, anyone can try it but they'll always fail when it comes to verification process.

4626  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🔴🔴NEWS WEBSITE // FRESH NEWS🔴🔴 Our New Project // Check this out on: August 20, 2018, 06:16:32 AM
But you created that article two weeks ago.

It appears you're the only one working on this platform and if you really want to deliver "what your website says", then I suggest to start looking for other content creators (for your platform).
4627  Other / Meta / Re: What should be included in a newbie welcome message? on: August 19, 2018, 01:57:19 PM
A full list of forum rules can be found here, but the most important ones are listed below and breaking them will likely lead to an immediate ban:
You might want to consider including the permanent or temporary label for each of the mentioned cases (to eliminate/reduce the possibility of them creating threads for "perma" cases).

Please suggest anything you think should be included.
[Guide] Bitcointalk account security (the other linked guide, covers only a small portion of it).

My suggestion would be to either send it in parts, or send the same message again as a reminder once the user has made a few posts.
Would prefer it being shown as they sign up because most won't bother reading it but it could also be sticked and they're just forced to read it. Could also get sent to their email and/or pop up in their messages as well.
I like these (perhaps once a week until they reach a rank of Jr.).
4628  Other / Meta / Re: Recovering my hacked account [signed message] on: August 18, 2018, 12:45:35 AM
Any other ideas or suggestions?
Since you can't do anything else, I suggest to patiently wait either for the implementation of the new system or until the manual recovery process happens.

Anyone knows how many NEGATIVE TRUST do I have to collect in order to get locked / suspended / banned ?  I'll start a TAG ME campaign if it is possible getting locked this way.
There's no correlation between the amount of negative trusts and account suspensions.

4630  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🚀 [ANN] CryptoPys.com News Aggregator Official Launch! on: August 17, 2018, 02:19:14 PM
We look forward to your support, suggestions, and feedback!
Few notes:

- It appears not all of the aggregated news, have the appropriate coin tags attached to them.
- There's a bug in regards to removing a coin from the favorite list (refreshing the page, puts/adds it back to the list).

Apart from those, I really like the side by side feature.
4631  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Coinsources.io - All-in-One Cryptocurrency Sources on: August 17, 2018, 11:47:00 AM
Nothing that special
I actually like it (a great alternative to "thebitcoinpage", with few categories that are missing on the other one).
- Bookmarked.

  • Is it just me or the search function is somehow broken?
  • You might want to remove the "meta section of your website" from the search page.
4632  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] OFFICIAL THREAD Ecommerce Store for COMPUTER HARDWARE on: August 17, 2018, 10:00:16 AM
ESCROW SERVICE WILL BE ONLINE IN NEXT MONTH FOR SECURE PURCHASES (in talks with leading multinational escrow providers)
Care to name them?

Have all emails and correspondence to prove they are scammers.
I suggest to create a thread on "Scam Accusations", with the appropriate evidences.
- Use the following "format".
4633  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammed by cyborg77 on: August 17, 2018, 06:22:32 AM
You should edit/update the thread using the proper "Scam Report Format".

please contact user to sort this out or ban him.
Unfortunately, such things aren't moderated on this forum:

19. Possible (or real) scams and Trust ratings are not moderated (to prevent moderation abuse).
4634  Other / Meta / Re: Recovering my hacked account [signed message] on: August 17, 2018, 02:58:51 AM
Nonetheless they close the doors to initiate the recovery process, aka ignore our requests.
Regardless of how everything seems to be (at the moment), there are a lot of things going on in the background (highlighted part):

If you have not posted that addy elsewhere, it probably won't be accepted.

We don't actually accept the profile field address unless there's some sort of proof that it's remained unchanged, for that very reason.

I'm working on a new address-staking system which will automatically handle signatures, etc. Might have it ready by the end of the month if nothing else comes up to consume my time.

I would like to ask / request escalating this incident up to the extend of locking my account AvenG so no one can use it (which seems unlikely due to the fact that the Admins ignores us, but at least I try).
Did you set/use the "Secret Question" field on that account?
- If "YES", then you can use that for locking your account: PSA: ACCOUNTS WILL BE LOCKED IF THE SECRET QUESTION IS USED TO RECOVER IT
4635  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Cryptolancer.io Freelancing website for earning multiple cryptocurrencies! on: August 16, 2018, 08:45:02 AM
Few notes:

- You might want to change the following line from the homepage (especially since you just launched it - Somehow it's misleading) to something similar to the twitter cover photo instead:
Millions of small businesses use Cryptolancer to turn their ideas into reality.

- Based on your twitter profile, the following line isn't true as well (I won't mention its name here [since it's a similar type of website], you can PM me for that):
The World's first #Freelancing website to offer payment in multiple #cryptocurrencies.

- You should update the links for everything listed under the "Terms" category.

- You might want to consider making the following lists public:
  • Projects
  • Freelancers
4636  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to register a bitcointalk account? on: August 16, 2018, 05:09:13 AM
how do I register for a bitcointalk account without having to get a proxy ban
Register using a different connection/IP or you can try your luck with an unknown/less popular VPN providers (might work [50 - 50]).

On a side note:

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]

25. If you get banned (temporary or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban.
4637  Other / Meta / Re: Poll option on: August 15, 2018, 12:57:03 AM
Maybe he's asking if you can add a poll to an already started thread.  I've also had a desire for this in the past, and as a result of not being able to add polls to already started topics, nonnakip developed a polling system for NastyFans instead.
Actually, there's an option for adding polls to "already started threads":
- It's located on bottom right corner of each thread (reply  |  unwatch  |  notify  |  add poll  |  print), for OP only.
  • Options on the upper right corner are a bit different (it's "mark unread" instead of "add poll", that's why some might miss it).
4638  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Abra - anyone here using it? on: August 14, 2018, 04:52:17 PM
Now the second most downloaded wallet on Ios yet I've seen virtually no mention of it on here at all.
Here you go: Abra Exchange & Wallet!

what is your take on it?
- Mostly targeting users from "U.S. and the Philippines" (for full experience).
- I hate the fact that cryptocurrency withdrawals are quite limited to BTC & LTC.
- For more comments/review, you may "refer to this".
4639  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTCBlender is a Scam on: August 14, 2018, 02:39:56 PM
"audaciousbeing" made a great point when it comes to online reviews and unfortunately, I think you're another victim.

- Found someone else having a similar experience while using their sister site.
- After checking the website, it has awful design and also fake information:

Because of the maintenance of the wallet, BTX temporarily closes the deposit and withdraw money. Please pay attention to the following official announcement for the specific opening time.
This is the reply I got when I contacted the support, but don't know when it will become normal,in some days or it will take weeks?
I checked the announcements but couldn't find anything related to that so most likely, their support staff used the wrong word (should've been "upcoming" instead of "following" - meaning there's no specific time).

No one faced this issue yet? Why I got no replies even after 24 hours. Huh
Based on the view count of the thread, only few users have read it so far.
