4661  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Bitex.Cash - Fast&Easy Anonymous Crypto Exchange on: August 01, 2018, 12:39:22 PM
Guys be carefully here, orders are so high only for "test" how works and are in two same limit/fee
On top of that, the exchange button doesn't work (wanted to test and see the process but had no luck).

On a side note: You might want to edit your post and remove the whole quote (if you want to save it, just use a website like https://archive.fo/).

Most importantly, we DON’T collect any personal information and we are not requiring to be KYC-complaint.
But according to "FAQ", you may ask for those:

Is your service really anonymous?
Yes, it is. You don't need to register, log in or provide your ID for verification to use Bitex.Cash.

However there are some exceptions.

Bitex.Cash uses an automated risk management system to check all transactions. Each case will be considered individually. According to European AML directives, KYC regulations and platform requirements, we can ask you to provide you a scan of your ID document valid in your country and additional information of the funds origin.
4662  Economy / Reputation / Re: [To Know]Merit giveaway thread for Scam ICO finder will be consider merit abuse? on: August 01, 2018, 08:18:22 AM
I don't know exactly it will be consider merit abuse or not.
I don't see meriting users for identifying fake/scam ICO's as a merit abuse but personally, I prefer not to see another merit giveaway thread (just merit those you think are worthy of receiving it).

If not abuse then suggest me appropiate board.
IIRC, I've seen such threads on "Beginners & Help" & "Games and rounds" (initially not on these boards).

Thank you for making this thread. This serves as guidelines in transacting with other people especially for trading purposes. I appreciated much about meeting in publoc areas or with cctv cameras. It's really opt to be in the said places for security purposes and in cases of fraudulent transactions. However if I may add I think we can also be vigilant in giving our payments. For me, I prefer the method because its more secure to get the items before giving the payment

You really need to be able to trust the person, if you live in the same country you can use bank transfer to send the funds, also they could send you a paypal Gift payment (with strictly no mention of bitcoin or any message), start with low ammount, have the seller send you the cash first, then build up trust.

There are many others options, i would never, ever meet in person.

You really need to be able to trust the person, if you live in the same country you can use bank transfer to send the funds, also they could send you a paypal Gift payment (with strictly no mention of bitcoin or any message), start with low ammount, have the seller send you the cash first, then build up trust.

Obviously, as a seller you need to build up a trust rating.

You can do that here, by offering services and delivering them, like you see on my profile i have a +8 rating for many transaction.
There are websites like Bitrated again to prove who you are and make you more trustworthy.

Then you can join groups, channels and make friends with people who are also trusted and who could vouch for you.

In this day and age and with the price of bitcoin, meeting someone to do a Bitcoin trade is asking for trouble.
4664  Other / Meta / Re: Community Thread - How BitcoinTalk Accounts Are Hacked? on: July 31, 2018, 12:43:21 PM
Give me a few minutes and I will find the PM someone received from theymos where he says that he is developing a system to automatically prove you own an account with your staked address.
IIRC, the PM was from ~1 month ago and theymos said that he would try to code it in a few weeks. So it should be out soon. So it will definitely be available in the current forum software (SMF), and not only when the new software comes out.
You realize a number of eye balls are looking at you now?(!)  Smiley
Just to help and post the reference "TryNinja" was looking for (in case he/she had difficulty in finding it):

If you have not posted that addy elsewhere, it probably won't be accepted.

We don't actually accept the profile field address unless there's some sort of proof that it's remained unchanged, for that very reason.

I'm working on a new address-staking system which will automatically handle signatures, etc. Might have it ready by the end of the month if nothing else comes up to consume my time.
4665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners with small amounts of money on: July 30, 2018, 12:39:39 PM
how should I start and should invest in Bitcoin or another coin.
You can always use some of the well known/trusted exchanges (always search in forum) or something like localbitcoins but prior to those, I suggest to learn how you can keep those funds safe.
4666  Other / Meta / Re: Giveaway mega-thread with a little doubt. on: July 28, 2018, 11:58:44 PM
And in this case the following topic is a giveaway topic.
They're quite close but this one is a bit different. If a topic rewards users for simply "just" posting a comment and in return, rewarding those posters then it's a giveaway thread but if users are required to do some other tasks in order to get their rewards, then it's not a giveaway (based on my observation).
4667  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 🌟🌟🌟A Bitcoin platform AD on: July 28, 2018, 09:06:20 AM
Don't mind it's a new, as you know, localbitoin also is a new at first. So just let me introduce it to you.
It's nice to see an alternative to localbitcoins, but beating them is a tough task.

Finally, anyone, of course, has the questions to a new platform, just reply that under this forum, i will reply ASAP.

You might want to change blockchain.info links to Blockchain.com instead (some of them are wrong, it doesn't go/redirect to the correct link ex. Here).

4669  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BITCOINTELPRO - Shirts & Accessories for Bitcoin Maximalists on: July 28, 2018, 04:46:40 AM
I hope this isn't just like the other similar stores that only last for a short time.
- Few notes:
  • Why the price for "this" is different than "this" one? Is it just because of the brand logo at the back (if, "YES", I think it's too much)?
  • Why one of them has up to 3XL only (based on the stats, they're completely made of similar things)?
4670  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Enterprise verification Vs Personal? on: July 28, 2018, 03:48:17 AM
Anyone have any idea what the benefit, if any, there is to register with them this way?
AFAIK, registering using both methods gives you the same withdrawal limits (steps for enterprise is a bit different), so there isn't any advantages/benefits.
4671  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BuyCrypto.guide - Simple high-quality step-by-step Buying Guides on: July 28, 2018, 12:21:01 AM
Oh and don't forget to leave your feedback  Smiley
You might to consider automating the listed exchanges based on users location (most exchanges have certain limits/restrictions).

On the "Disclaimer", you mentioned:
Quote
This is no financial advice!
- And yet some exchanges are highlighted with a pink star at their upper right corner.

Apart from those, I actually like it.
4672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe use of WEB Wallet on: July 27, 2018, 11:50:06 AM
Next time, access those web wallets from a saved/bookmarked link instead.

On a side note: None of the web wallets are safe.
4673  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Seeking Feedback On Idea (Crypto Newsletter) on: July 27, 2018, 09:22:33 AM
I've lately been toying around with the idea of a crypto newsletter, perhaps daily or weekly.
Having a daily newsletter is too much, a weekly or monthly newsletter is much better.

Do people subscribe to this kind of thing?
If there's an assurance that their emails aren't sold to advertising companies, then "YES".
4674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about Referral link on signature. on: July 27, 2018, 08:11:11 AM
Are putting signature links or referrals in signature area are allowed to all ranks? Thank you very much for your answers.
Yes, you can have referral links in your signature space but take note that ranks lower than a "Member" rank, can't use/have links on their signature spaces (you have to purchase a "Copper membership" for that).
4675  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cheating bounties with alt accounts and using my bct handle on: July 27, 2018, 06:26:33 AM
I wouldn't have cared about the alts, I just don't appreciate the guy using my handle (not even sure of the reason for that  Huh).
Most likely a bot or someone with the hope of tricking the manager into paying them for something that they don't deserve (I wouldn't be surprised if other things are fake as well) or just someone that hates you and wants to ruin your reputation (there's always a possibility).

Always archive those pages using a website like "https://archive.fo".
4676  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: July 27, 2018, 01:18:10 AM
Can I get merits if I create my own theme?
I think you meant "thread/topic". Yes, you can earn merits for those but that's not the only way (you can earn a merit for every single post that you make [as long as they're a high quality or a merit worthy post]).
4677  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Idea for quickly stopping scams on: July 26, 2018, 12:29:13 PM
If they had read this board... maybe they didnt get scammed. So I created a Telegram channel and twiiter account for that purpose.
How you're going to promote it (I'm pretty sure the impact will be insignificant)?

Im just saying that if you look at the amount of views of each scam accusation versus the bounty topic. There are less views in scams accusations section.
You shouldn't compare two different types of topics (a bounty topic will always have a higher view count [due to obvious reasons] + Most users don't read topics on this section, unless something happens).

maybe if you change this board to the section alternative cryptocurrencies that will be a more powerful tool to stopping scams
How about getting rid of the section (alternative) completely (saves 90% of the cases).

With only one pinned topic that says for example Confirmed Scams would be enough to descourage most of the scammers
I doubt it (until a project is listed there, there's still a chance for scammers to continue with such behavior).
4678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any ideas where to look for OTC BTC buyers/brokers? on: July 25, 2018, 01:21:16 PM
I'm not exactly sure where to find them.
Can someone point me to a direction? Thanks in advance.
You can start (find them) by moving the thread to "Currency exchange" instead (use "move topic" option from the bottom left corner of the page).
4679  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [DOUBT] listex.io exchange on: July 25, 2018, 12:02:20 PM
Can anyone have experencies with them?
Why didn't you search, prior to using that exchange? There are multiple complaints on each of their threads:

4680  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] PayKassa - the first aggregator of payments Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin! on: July 25, 2018, 08:16:36 AM
I tried using/testing the "payment form example" and it appears there's an issue:
- I chose "PayKassa" as payment option, but it keeps choosing "Payeer" instead.

Also you might want to consider having everything in a single window.
