4761  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCDice.io - New dice site, fast rolls, instant withdrawals, invest on: September 08, 2019, 04:15:23 PM
It is natural thing but it does not mean that you can't get profit from it, you can see many of the players out there thst getting good profit. Some calculations about how much bet and how much profit that you are going to get will be really take part. And most people can't control their greed, this is how usually people losing it. Anyway faucet wont do any good to your reputation towards each site because if you never make any deposit and just doing faucet then your account will be tagged as faucet abuser which is end up getting banned
I hadn't heard anything about banning of an account because someone only claim faucet and never deposit. I don't think you are right.  Most of the websites give free satoshis when you have signed up recently and some of them give you free satoshis only when your balance is zero. Also, withdrawing your balance requires a minimum amount and fee which make you ineligible for withdrawing your balance if you don't gamble. Even if some one only use faucets, the greed will cause them to finally deposit some amounts of coins. So, these people will be never banned.
I think faucet abuser is a person who creates several accounts.

4762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 08, 2019, 03:52:35 PM
I do wish one day anyone discover a gambling strategy which truly make us win and changes all the gamblers fortunes.
These Martingale and parlay strategies do not work anymore and are just waste of time and money.
It's 100% impossible. I suggest you to search for "house edge" on Google. House edge guarantee that the gambling platform will be always profitable.
Mathematically, in every bet you made the chance of website is higher than you (It's normal). So, in long term, you cannot be a winner.
As I said, It's impossible to find a strategy which guarantees your win. But let's assume that this strategy has been found. What will happen? Every one will use it. Then all the gambling websites must stop or they must change their mathematical calculations which are done behind.
Search for "house edge". You will find out everything.
4763  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 08, 2019, 03:40:38 PM
This implies that the even if you have many tickets this does not guaranty to win huge amount or the top prize as they always said that the more entries the more chance of winning but not really true its a random selection and only depends how lucky you are to win, that 477 tickets is too less compared to 21m.
We are talking about a lottery. More tickets you have, higher chance you have.
Yes, the selection is done randomly.  This means you might win the lottery even if you have only 1 ticket and you might never win the lottery even if you have 21 million tickets every week.
If you notice to list of winners, it is obvious that most of the winners are those who have big number of tickets. But I have seen some winners with lower than 100 tickets.
So, 1. you can have higher chance if you have more tickets. But your chance will be never 100%    2. Having only 1 ticket make you eligible for winning the lottery. But your chance would be very low.
4764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bonuses are only to deceive people on: September 07, 2019, 08:41:15 PM
I just checked an ANN thread. There was a post regarding the last round of the IEO. They were offering 25% discount to IEO participants. I wanted to post on that thread. But instead of posting on that thread, I decided to create a new topic as there are many same IEOs.
Offering bonus on the last round of an ICO/IEO is really funny.
The bonus is valuable only if there are some other participants that sell the tokens at higher prices. I cannot understand bonus on the last round of an IEO. Even if they give 1000% bonus to investors, it doesn't differ. The bonus on the last round must be zero. These kind of IEOs try to deceive participants. It might be true even if we call them scammers.
If a token price is 100 satoshis and they give all participants 25% discount. Investors shouldn't be happy that they have bought the tokens at 75 satoshis. Because the price is 75 satoshis not 100 satoshis.
We can say the price is 100 satoshis if there will be a next round and some people buy the tokens at 100 satoshis.

4765  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 07, 2019, 07:46:56 PM
I think freebitco should add Basketball world cup on their betting section. I am sure there are many basketball enthusiasts that will participate in world cup betting.
Now we are still on the second group stage phase. Till now the first group stage and half of the games of second group stage has missed. I suggest freebitco to run basketball world cup betting from quarterfinals (next round). Such a big tournament shouldn't be missed on freebitco.
Basketball world cup is certainly more attractive than Rugby matches.
4766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: September 07, 2019, 04:50:24 PM
For most of the gamblers, the order of their win and their loss is the opposite. Gamblers win small amount of money, then they think as they continue to gamble they will become more professional and will earn bigger profits.
Personally the first time I lost a big money on gambling, I remembered my wins and wished I had withdrawn my profits.
Gambling is different from other businesses. In most businesses, first you lose money, then you earn money after you become experienced. But gambling is different. More people gamble, more they lose. Because every thing is based on luck and the outcome does not depend on your skills.
4767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 07, 2019, 03:03:13 PM
To a certain extent, Martingale works. But you need to have a really deep pocket. Without which, you better avoid using Martingale as it will only dry up your wallet pretty quick.
What do you mean by deep pocket? Do you mean 10 BTC, 1,000 BTC or 1,000,000 BTC?
Assume that some one have 1000 Bitcoin. How much do you consider the initial bet?
1 Satoshi? Do you know how long does it take to earn a certain percentage of profit? (Even if you consider the initial bet 1 Satoshi, according to calculation your balance will be finally zero.
1000 Satoshi? It id same as the example I made in thefirst post.

I am still of the opinion that this martingale strategy   is not as bad as it is been portrayed because I have seen a lot of gamblers that have been successful using this same strategy although I really do not understand how they go about it.
The strategy is worse than you think.
I guess you are referring to some videos on Youtube. Yes, the strategy works for several times and up to few hours. But you will finally lose.
Any one who is talking about advantages of this strategy is trying to promote its referral link or don't know the strategy.

4768  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 07, 2019, 02:30:19 PM
To any one believes that freebitco is a gambling website:
Freebitco is a combination of gambling and faucet. It is also giving users interest to bitcoin holders.
There are many people that are getting some free satoshis using freebitco. Especially newbies. Freebitco make newbies more interested in bitcoin with that small rewards. I don't think there is any problem that freebitco is also used for gambling and betting. If freebitco was only a faucet, it couldn't remain live till now. A platform needs to be profitable.
Freebitco give you free money, you can ignore other sections and just use the free satohis. You can also enjoy the games and betting. You can also deposit and get interest. People can use freebitco however  they want.
4769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Finding the person who has received 1 billion dollar is likely possible on: September 06, 2019, 09:27:24 PM
The address below has received 94,500 bitcoins.
37XuVSEpWW4trkfmvWzegTHQt7BdktSKUs
According to what I read in some reports, it is the richest non-exchange address. I also read that at least one third of these bitcoin has been transferred from Huobi exchanges. As Withdrawing that big amount of bitcoin from Huobi exchange require KYC, so Huobi should know the person behind this transaction.
Assume that the government find this transaction suspicious and want to know the owner of these bitcoins. The government can force Huobi to give them the documents of the owner of this wallet. Huobi can be forced by court if they don't give those documents to government.

You don't really need to be in front of the computer at all. You just need to set an hourly alarm on your phone and click the button. More than 12 times a day is perfectly doable and anything you click more than 12 is a net positive.
You can also activate "Play sound when timer runs out ". You will be notified every one hour to claim your reward.
However no other website give you reward as much as Freebitco give you, but that is still very small and I don't think it can be useful even if some one is very very poor. It can be only used for testing HI/LOW game.

The links you posted are really helpful. Before your post, I didn't know there is possibility of having the last posts all in one page. I would like to know if it is possible to have these posts excluding bounty threads and posts made on local boards.
4772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave — The Privacy Is Yours ★ Important Announcement  ★ on: September 06, 2019, 08:19:31 AM
As far as I remember, Bitclave had raised about 25 million dollar in the ICO. I remember that time they planned to build a search engine and now a website is all they have created. They have completely forgotten the search engine that they had promised.
25 million dollar only for a website? Where is Alex Bessonov?
4773  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 05, 2019, 08:44:38 PM
I read some posts above and I noticed there is a discussion whether Freebitco is a pyramid scheme or not.
Any one think that freebitco or some similar gambling websites are Pyramid scheme, don't know what is a pyramid scheme.
We call a business a pyramid scheme when there is no especial product and the profit depends only on the people you bring to the system. These businesses completely fail when there is no new person entering to the business.
Freebitco and similar gambling websites have product and your profit and loss determine in the games you play. Referral system is just a bonus system.
Also note that in Pyramid schemes there are several levels. In Freebitco we make profit only from the person we have referred.
You can also join freebitco without invitation. In a pyramid scheme you have to be invited by someone.

Really? I have not seen theymos wrote about that or did I miss it? If theymos announced about that, and you knew where he posted it, please share me link to that post.

Here is the post made by Theymos in 2014
Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.

What I has made it bold was ignored until August 2017 when mprep made the post below on August 19, 2017
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2103690.0

As I remember on that day many bounty threads all were deleted simultaneously. Not only the threads that had been considered bonus for replying to their thread. Theymos deleted all bounty threads that had asked participants to make posts on their ANN.
Before that time bounty managers used to force participants to make a certain percentage of their post on their ANN thread. For example bounty hunters had to make 10 posts which 2 of them must be on their ANN thread.

If I am not wrong discussions about that policy started from the post below.

4775  Other / Meta / Re: ANN threads shouldn't be self-moderated on: September 05, 2019, 12:16:14 PM
I do agree with using 300 good reports as pre-requisite to be able to create self-moderated thread.
I don't know at start, self-moderated threads born in the forum for which kind of original purposes, but in my opinion, there are only main purpose:
- To avoid spam, delete trashposts from spammers to keep high quality threads as clean as possible.
Unfortunately, over time, bad guys, includes scammers abuse self-moderated threads for their shady targets.
That suggestion makes sense because scammers usually don't spend time to report bad posts, especially 300, just to create self-moderated threads. They mostly create new account, buy Copper membership or buy hacked accounts (high ranks). 300 good reports looks good, but I don't think it will solve issues, because there are demands, there are market, and we might see a new market with 300+ good-report accounts
You are completely right about the purposes of creating self-moderated topics. But in ANN threads, some threads are made self-moderated for other reasons. Spamming the thread usually doesn't matter to them. They just want their thread to be kept on top of other threads.
I remember in most of the bounties, participants used to be forced to make certain number of posts on ANN threads. Spamming doesn't matter to them. Theymos finally deleted all the bounty threads that were forcing participants to reply to their threads. This caused number of useless posts on ANN threads to decrease.
4776  Other / Meta / Re: ANN threads shouldn't be self-moderated on: September 04, 2019, 09:41:08 PM
It is still helpful overall I think. It's supposed to combat spam only but if you believe someone is abusing self-moderation to censor and/or cover their scammy/shady projects, I believe you can always create a scam accusation/reputation thread. I don't know if you were able to witness how a fellow was confronted for deleting messages and hiding his human rights foundation scam.
If I believe that a project or a token is a scam, I would certainly make a new topic on "Scam accusation" thread. But some times only I want to make a complain. for example I complain about how they are conducting the ICO, bonuses, KYC, exchanges, etc. The ANN thread is the best place to talk about these issues. It's not convenient to make a new topic.
4777  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 04, 2019, 08:02:22 PM
Do we really have to have people coming out and saying that they won the lottery to make sure there is actually winners? Like are we in that much of suspicion right now?

In that case there are tons of casinos with literally as high as billions of bets wagered on them so far and I have not seen too many winners coming out saying they won, surely in billions of bets there must have been hundreds if not thousands of big wins as well but none of them came out and said so. By that logic we would have to not believe in any casino ever.

The way whole of crypto casino world works is that, you blame a casino when they do something wrong, not when everything seems to be working as expected. Of course that's your own personal choice, if you want to do that, nobody can stop you.

There is an old thread which asks people whether they have won a prize on lotteries or not. It's very old. But might be helpful.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1334508.0

There is also another thread about possibility of earning big amounts in the faucet.

4778  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 04, 2019, 05:42:59 PM
I deposited on this website big amounts. Collected interest, went in and out whenever I wanted. Never had any problems.

I can't speak for the future but my past and on-going experiences say there is no scam.

I deposited 0.007 BTC to my freebitco.in account more than a year ago and have been earning passive interest since then. When I needed 0.001 some time ago I withdrew that amount from the site without any problems and with the lowest fee possible.

This site is surely not a scam, but it will always have haters saying bad things about it because this happens to anything which is popular and prosperous.
I really trust freebitco.in. It works very well and I have not experienced any problem yet. The platform can be also used a wallet. Whenever I want to receive some small amounts of Satoshis, I use freebitco instead of my paper wallet, Electrum, etc. As there id no minimum amount of deposit, it's very convenient. After my balance increases to 0.01 bitcoins (just an example), I withdraw them to my personal wallet with a very low fee instead of paying high fees due to large size of the transaction.
4779  Other / Meta / ANN threads shouldn't be self-moderated on: September 04, 2019, 05:02:56 PM
Every day, some new ANN threads are created in the forum. Many of these ANN threads are self-moderated. In my opinion, posting self-moderated topics shouldn't be allowed on "Announcements (Altcoins)".
In most cases, they make the topics self-moderated to be able to delete any post complaining them. Instead of deleting the posts, they should report the posts and posts are deleted only by moderators.
I know there are many spams in these topics. They can be only allowed to delete the posts that are made by newbies.
4780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: September 04, 2019, 04:34:23 PM
The decrease in price of Pundi X has no reason other than bad condition of the market. There is no problem with development of the project. The total market cap. is 90 million dollar. Comparing to many other tokens, it's a very big amount.
Pundi X is now ranked 59th on coinmarketcap. The rank is almost constant and is not change. So, Pundi X price is changing same as other top altcoins.
