Ci sono 8 diversi livelli di rank su BTCtalk disponibili per gli utenti "normali", nel dettaglio sono: Brand New, Newbie, Jr. Member, Member, Full Member, Sr. Member, Hero Member e Legendary.
Poi ci sono dei sub-rank che si ottengono in condizioni particolari, ovvero: Donator e VIP.
Infine ci sono i rank dei vari gestori del forum: Staff, Moderator, Global Moderator, Administrator e Founder.

Full Member:	Activity: 120, hanno 3 gold coin sotto il nome.

Hero Member:	Activity: 480, hanno 5 gold coin sotto il nome.
Legendary:	Activity: ≥775 e ≤1030 in quanto il rank Legendary non ha un valore fisso di Activity. Si diventerà Legendary con un'Activity compresa tra 775 e 1030, il valore cambia per ogni utente, quindi non è possibile prevedere quando avverrà il cambio di rank, ogni caso sarà diverso. Presentano 5 gold coin sotto il nome e l'ultima coin è per metà blu scuro.

VIP:	Applicato manualmente dall'amministratore dopo una donazione di 50 BTC. Presentano 5 gold coin sotto il nome e l'ultima coin è per metà viola. Quando si è VIP sono presenti 5 coin sotto il nome a prescindere dal numero di messaggi inviati.
Staff Rank	Descrizione	Tag
Staff:	Appare quando i Moderatori (vedi prossimo punto) scrivono al di fuori delle sezioni che moderano. Il tag sotto il nome dipende dalla sezione.	Variabile
Moderator:	Appare quando i moderatori di una sezione scrivono all'interno di quella specifica sezione. Presentano 5 gold coins sotto il nome e l'ultima coin è per metà bianca.
Global Moderator:	Assegnato allo Staff che ha i privilegi di moderazione in tutte le sezioni del forum. Presentano 5 gold coins sotto il nome e l'ultima coin è per metà azzurra.
Administrator:	Ha disponibili tutti i permessi, può nominare i moderatori ed eseguire altre attività amministrative. Presenta 5 gold coins sotto il nome e l'ultima coin è per metà rossa a prescindere dal numero di messaggi inviati.
Founder:	Riservato per Satoshi. Presenta 5 platinum coin sotto il nome.

Da inizio 2018, per cercare di contenere lo spam dilagante causato dalle campagne firme, sono stati introdotti i Merit (link al thread originale), che sono un altro requisito fondamentale per poter salire di livello, la sola Activity non è più sufficiente da sola. Potete trovare tutti i dettagli nel thread italiano di Micio.

In aggiunta, il 17 settembre 2018 è stata introdotta un'ulteriore limitazione per poter diventare Jr. Member, ovvero bisogna aver ricevuto almeno 1 Merit altrimenti si rimane Newbie anche se si hanno più di 30 punti Activity.
Questa nuova regola è retroattiva quindi tutti i Jr. Member che avevano ancora 0 Merit sono stati declassati a Newbie.


Limitazioni per le firme
In base al rank e all'Activity vi sono le seguenti limitazioni:

Nel caso in cui non vogliate perdere tempo a racimolare Activity e/o Merit, in data 10 novembre 2017 theymos ha pensato bene di aggiungere un nuovo rank a pagamento, ovvero il Copper Member.

Funny thing is they don't even waste time changing the username and deleting the old profile pictures, you go on their profiles and you can see all the previous profile pictures of the users that asked several questions and then they disappeared...

From time to time I can keep taking screenshots but as I already said it would be more of the same, the questions and the answers are always the same because they use always the same copy-paste text for everything, it's becoming pointless, especially for them, maybe they should start asking themselves why there are no real users and why they keep doing this stupid game.

Miiike, the point is that they never even thought about paying those bounties, it was a scam since the beginning! The old BM filled the spreadsheets and everything looked fine, then they say everything is wrong and they're gonna check again, but in reality they don't even login ever again in the forum, don't answer any question, they just disappeared. These are only excuses, there are tons of proofs of their scam, they just don't care, it's useless try to reason with them, they will always lie and make up stupid excuses.

Mario, il discorso è semplice: non si connettono al forum dal 17 di giugno, non hanno mai avuto nessuna intenzione di verificare quei post e neanche tutto il resto, erano solo cazzate per tenerci buoni, tutto li. Non gli è mai passata per la testa neanche per un secondo l'idea di pagarci sul serio, ci hanno sempre preso in giro.

Il problema è che pare che non sappiano cosa sia la vergogna. Io all'inizio ero davvero incazzato per il tempo perso e per il mancato guadagno ma credimi, dopo averli visti in faccia uno per uno nelle foto e vedere come sono ridotti in quella chat mi fanno davvero pena. Hanno più soldi loro di quanti io ne vedrò mai nella mia vita ma mi fanno pena, siamo arrivati all'assurdo.

Magari è come ho letto pochi post fa, c'entra il fatto che ti hanno nominato MS a metà mese, e la ricarica è all'inizio di ogni mese se non ricordo male. Perché in effetti 15 Merit per una MS sono nulla, vuol dire creare ulteriori 7-3-1 Merit a cascata, praticamente nulla.

Praticamente fanno finta di non sapere che quando uno cambia la firma ovviamente cambia anche nei post passati, non c'è nessuno che ha ancora la firma di Ubiatar dato che è finita da mesi, quindi secondo loro nessuno ha fatto la campagna firme, tutti i dati riportati dal vecchio bounty manager sono inventati.

Se non è scam questo...

Ah, sto anche continuando a seguire la chat ma non ha più senso, sono sempre e solo loro a scrivere, le uniche volte che c'è un utente vero lo si capisce subito perché sta chiedendo info per il bounty o per l'airdrop, tutti gli altri sono fake, e credetemi, postano SOLO i fake, sono da soli, nessuno li calcola più.

E intanto però si è intascato tutte le centinaia (migliaia?) di BTC ricevuti tramite donazioni proprio per migliorare il forum, ne ha presi così tanti che poteva ingaggiare Bill Gates per fare il forum nuovo...

Hai idea di quanti "nice project" dovranno scrivere prima che qualcuno gli dia, per sbaglio, quel merit che tanto bramano?
