On December 28th will be the Segwit2X hard fork of Bitcoin on the block 501451. I have seen futures on the exchanges of HitBTC and Yobit.
The Segwit2X will become new functions like Smart Contracts, anonymous transactions and lightning network.

But last month there was so much hype on this Segwit2x hard fork. But this time it seems that almost nobody is taking attention on it.

I am not a Verge holder but I was following the project since june. If someboy is saying that Verge is dead they have no idea about it.
What happened now is a normal situation after the price increase so high. Many high bag holders sold Verge to take profits.

My suggestion for potential future coins with low circulating supply are: Zencash (Masternode 42 Zencash), Shift (possible x 3 or 4 within the next 2-3 weeks), MODUM (very nice project with already a released product).

500$ will be only the beginning of your investment. That is always the same amount which my friends are telling me before entering the world of cryptocurrencies. Once they got the crypto-virus.. they are telling me that they have invested again and again. 

My prediction for you will be one of those Marijuana Coins for the cannabis industry like Potcoin, Dopecoin, Cannabiscoin, Hempcoin etc.
The price will grow fast in 2018. And then another project like WeTrust, Matchpool or SONM. This will bring you more profit in a short time then to invest all
500 $ only in a top 10 coin like Ripple.

Are you sure? I have heard that it will take a long time until the end of 2018. But perhaps they gonna hurry up with lighting network.

I think the price will be higher then $28 k. A lot of new investors are buying Bitcoin no matter how high the price is and no matter knowing of any problems like process transactions. I guess for some it is only important to have Bitcoin.

I am looking since one week on his "coin of the day" and then watch the pumps on coinmarketcap. I can only warn beginners not to
invest. After 5 minutes of his tweets the price is already higher then 60-80 % only because of his many followers.

Success in the world of cryptocurrencies is: make your own decisions by finding and investing in projects. Be a participant of projects  that you believe and hold it for the middle or longterm. Otherwise you will be a victim and others will take your investments.

I don't know if it was true or a fake with John McAfee and Enigma by asking for 25 BTC and 15 % for promoting a project. That is so much uncool!

I have joined some ICO but I can say right now that Cindicator got one of the best and active team. I am happy with the performance of
Cindicator and will keep it for the longterm. More and more will be getting interested for this hybrid intelligence project. I am sure
lot of good news will be released in 2018. Everyday I am following their tweets. Hope for other exchanges soon.

I decided always to hold 50 % of my investments in Bitcoin and 50 % in Altcoins. And I am happy so far of all.

I am already like a collector and search everytime for good projects to keep it in my portfolio.

My very first Altcoin was Ripple and then Ether.

I would say good Altcoins for a longterm investment are RIPPLE, IOTA, CARDANO, NEM, EOS, NEO.

I would pick right now those following 3 projects:

1. Waves (Waves NG / DEX)
2. Shift (Phantom release)
3. NEO (starting of next ICO on the NEO platform)

NEO seems to be like a very good choice and it is not too late to invest. The future belongs absolutely to NEO. A very active team. They will hold the NEO Conference on Tech Ecosystem in Beijing this coming saturday.

It is time now to buy some SHIFT. Not more so long and they will release the phantom storage dApp update on testnet. Also a new website with a new roadmap and present an extended team. After this happened I am sure that it will be also listed on other big exchanges.

very good that you got already NEO and EOS in your portfolio. My only advise would be that you have to buy more SHIFT. That will bring you good profits in the next coming weeks.

The only thing what Bitcoin will kill are those many shitcoins! But there are still very good projects which will survive.
So in my Portfolio: 50 % Bitcoin and 50 % Altcoins

The ICO of Modum was in september. I remember that they collected 10 Million $ within 5 hours.

The Modum startup worked already before to release a temperature monitoring device for medical supplies.

I think in future there will be well-known partnerships in the pharmacy perhaps with Bayer, Pfizer, Novartis etc. So this project is very interesting!

Super Bitcoin SBTC is a project from the researcher group Li Xiao Lai, JaiPeng Lin and Ranger Shi. They want to solve the problems which the bitcoin community had. They want also to launch smart contracts to the SBTC experiment and lightening network for fast and cheap transactions. Zero-knowledge proofs for fully anonymity like in Z-Cash will be also in Super Bitcoin.

But personally I don't like Super Bitcoin.. only the one and only BITCOIN.
