Investors have only two days from now to get 10% bonus on their investment. After that they will reduce bonus to 5% from 27th Apr.

Its a nice reminder. Also do we have minimum investment amount now?
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: April 23, 2019, 07:38:09 PM
Firstly if you are following this project you really need to join the telegram group here https://t.me/Bcnex_Official
Join the news channel here https://t.me/Bcnex_News

Secondly the trading competition is active in the BCNEX exchange platform and not in any external exchange check here https://www.bcnex.net/trading-competition.html?lang=en

Obviously, they have got a working platform already

Thanks for those links. after searching all over the place,  just yesterday only I come to know about this competition details.  Want to take part in this competition but KYC will take some time.

The trading competition is divided into four rounds and the first round was just completed. Meaning that you can still participate in the other rounds. I hope you're kyc must have been completed by now. You can check your account to see if you're eligible, but I know all users are eligible for this round. 100,000 virtual testnet USDT has been credited to my account.

Do we have to do KYC for participate in trading competition? Why is it like that? KYC is horrible stuff in most cases.

Until we sign on the dotted line, we will be strategically searching for the ultimate location. When a suited alternative presents itself of course we’ll consider adoption

Fair enough for the moment. This might be crucial information for the big investors who are going to come on board.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys read daily crypto news? on: April 21, 2019, 05:32:58 PM
These days I read short and sweet news from Berminal App. Almost it covers everything in and around crypto

If you end up in Siberia, do you know already how the electricity will be generated? In Iceland geothermal would have been a perfect option, especially when you consider that this is a renewable energy source. But what's about in Siberia?

Siberia is the new option I am hearing here. Never heard it. Looking forward for the teams view on such renewable energy sources.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: April 21, 2019, 03:06:24 PM

Crypto market is still new, and exchange business is still very attractive. Most important part for any exchange is security, and number of order/transaction support.

And not to forget the trust they earn from people in the first instance. This is crucial and any small mistake could cause huge price for the exchange. They need to be extremely careful.

As per the Whitepaper the team were impressed with the financial models based around the location of Iceland... If we can improve those models, which isn't just about maximsing profits but reducing risk also, then we will consider relocation. Off all the Sites we've been to and assessed all mitigating risks so far Siberia has the best outlook.

Our vision is to become a major player in the cryptocurrency arena and for MinedBlock to own a significant part of the infrastructure required to process transactions and mint new crypto assets. This will enable our investors to reap a significant return on investment while we employ an aggressive growth strategy to position ourselves as the ‘Amazon’ of the crypto mining industry

I am hearing ICELAND for the first time for crypto mining. I will look for more details and friendliness of ICELAND for crypto.

At first page you will find link which will take you to the competition page.  I see top leaderboards have traded with millions of USDT. So it seems its not actual trading,  but mock trading?

Right. It looks like trading competition in their MVP. Not sure though. Looking for more clarity to participate.

I think I UK electricity cost is high compared to some counties. If I know correctly, Netherlands provide electricity at less rate. Why can't minedblock start mining facility in such places?

Thats right. This could be the reason they will think about other locations. Team should have some location in mind. If I remember it right, they were talking about Dubai at one particular point in time.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: April 19, 2019, 07:10:10 PM

This looks cool.  But where we need to trade to participate in this competition?  I mean I can trade in any exchange and will be eligible for the reward?

I am also looking for detailed information regarding this competition. I guess its still open for participation.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️[ANN] ⚡️⚡️ MinedBlock ⚡️⚡️ STO Live NOW⚡️⚡️ Fully Managed Mining Service ⚡️⚡ on: April 19, 2019, 07:05:46 PM

Firstly what's the cost of the electricity they want to use??
How would they have already paid completely the cost of electricity they need since electricity cost will be a recurring expenses?

They still dont know the exact location as far as I know for their mining facility. If this is true, its impossible for them to give estimation of electricity charges.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: April 17, 2019, 02:52:17 PM
At first page I can see BCNEX trading competition started from 12th Apr. What is this competition?  Who and how we can participate in this competition?

Right. Is the competition already started? Where can I find more information on the participation?

Utility tokens would play a different role. I don’t see the need for utility tokens for Minedblock just yet. It could comes at a later time, when Minedblock facility is completed and running. Maybe then, there would be need to let other investors in. I think your security tokens should get you all the finance you need for a startup.

I am surprised by this post. Why utility tokens are not helpful especially in Minedblock project? You can pay using the tokens for mining assignment right?
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️[ANN] ⚡️⚡️ MinedBlock ⚡️⚡️ STO Live NOW⚡️⚡️ Fully Managed Mining Service ⚡️⚡ on: April 17, 2019, 07:16:47 AM
Since you don't have a bounty campaign, what are you currently doing to advertise your tokensale? Maybe you could get in touch with some influential crypto Youtubers to make a review about your project.

We are in the process of finalising the details to add a 'Pay as you go' side to our mining service which will utilise a utility token. With that will come a bounty and airdrop campaign ahead of an IEO.

Watch this space... full details will be released soon

Interesting development. Seems like going in the direction of utility tokens. Why not? This will become extremely attractive in the very near future.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: April 14, 2019, 04:20:42 PM
How much volume on your own exchange you have? Are you going to launch some IEO on your exchange like this making most of exchanges nowdays?

This is really confusing to me. Is the exchange already up and running? Am I missing anything? Please clarify.

What you guys think about minedblock? It's first STO for mining and it's registered with SEC. This giving me some confidence in this project.

Welcome to Minedblock. Just scroll this thread for many detailed information about the project that too from the team member itself. If you have further questions, post it here.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: April 13, 2019, 07:57:26 PM
Trading competition will be very good for the project. So everybody can see its working.

Trading competition? Where is it for BCNEX? any announcement came in recently? I thought they are going for ICO and not listing in the first instance.

It's been long time since I visited the crypto forums /BTT site.  I lost the interest for few months due to continuous fall in crypto market.  But it seems good time started for market again.

Yes. People are getting back into market which is a good news. Check out Minedblock project and discuss the plus and minus here. It would be nice to hear from many different people here.

Don't wanna sound impatient but are there any news about how much you've raised so far? Or are there any news about potential private institutional investors?

When I was talking to a team member, they are super confident about raising private investments. We just have to give them time..

I just heard that China might think about a ban on Bitcoin mining in their country (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-cryptocurrency/china-wants-to-ban-bitcoin-mining-idUSKCN1RL0C4). Which effect do you think would such a ban have on crypto mining in general? Do you think the Chinese miners would then try to move their operations to other countries and then maybe also be a competitor to you directly?

Regardless of whether they are from Europe, Asia U.S, Africa etc.... They will always be our competitor, we are on the same network, this is the beauty of a decentralised network! It would be a shame to loose our friends but China had been putting electric rates up to try to flush miners out.

What does it mean for us? From our R&D China’s miners have been running at a loss or have been switched off altogether, where would move too, how much would it cost?

Sadly I think the likely outcome would be that said companies close their doors, for us it does take out some big players but we don’t think that mining is an overly competitive market, there’s just poor business structures in them to sustain a profit

If all the chinese mining needs to move to other area where it is allowed, it could be a nice opportunity for Minedblocks to get immediate clients.

What are you saying? Why should miners that have to leave China become clients of Minedblock? That makes no sense at all. If they really have to leave the country, they'd probably compete with Minedblock for a mining site in a country with cheap electricity.

What he is trying to say could be, if Chinese needs to mine BTC, they can do it indirectly now using Minedblock service. I think he did not literally mean them to leave their country for mining purpose.
