How much volume on your own exchange you have? Are you going to launch some IEO on your exchange like this making most of exchanges nowdays?

This is really confusing to me. Is the exchange already up and running? Am I missing anything? Please clarify.

You're not missing anything. The exchange is yet to be actively running. The trading competition is more of a test run. Eligible users would be credited with $100k virtual currency which will be utilized in the competition.

KYC is one of tools to secure accounts.
However, in my opinion, KYCs on young exchanges should be a optional choice. If users on young exchanges want to secure their accounts better, they should choose to do KYCs steps.
In contrast, if they don't have to secure their accounts at higher level, they should have option to reject KYC requirements.
In my perspective, doing KYCs on young sites are risky because we don't know exactly that how they end with. Maybe, in bad cases, they will end with exit scams simultaneously with our identities.
The only constant phenomenon in life is change. There was a period in the cryptocurrency space where kyc was not required. There has been many cases of fraud and money laundry which has made governmental and non governmental institutions emphasis the use of kyc. Even in offline financial institutions, kyc is now a requirement for opening accounts and I believe its here to stay owing to the benefits its holds.

Trading competition will be very good for the project. So everybody can see its working.
Yes, that's true. Its an opportunity to carry out a practical review of the website and the various yardstick that have been installed for the proper working of the trading platform. But I doubt if withdrawal is possible without completing the kyc. Inorderwords, before participating in the trading competition, ensure you've completed and verified your account.

Bcnex have been all about KYC even with airdrop and this is lowkey kind of worrying
What if I'm not kyced on time and I need my funds asap won't there be a solution or faster way of verifying my identity without the long wait time associated with KYC

Here is the link to Bcnex whitepaper English version: https://www.bcnex.net/BCNEX_WP_ENG.html
Vietnamese version: https://www.bcnex.net/BCNEX_WP_VN.html
And many other languages are being translated.
The main theme color of BCnex reminds me about the Bytecoin.
I don't find proofs of partnerships between Bytecoin and Bcnex, so it likely coincidence with same theme color used by two projects.
Good luck with your BCnex after successful Angel Fund Raising Round.

I think in the future Bytecoin will be an official partner soon. I believe that BCNEX is doing their job very well and they have been very successful in fundraising at this project and they will have more investors in the future. It may be difficult to raise funds but if their teams keep up to date with the latest news, building a good exchange will only be a matter of time.

This is even better when we are familiar with previous success project from same managements.
Its good that they are honest to reveal these informations which increases mutual trust.

It's much better to complete your kyc before you commence using BCNEX. With the increase of trading platforms in the cryptocurrency space, Its best to check for withdrawal information, before making deposits to avoid loosing your funds.

From my point of view and not as an endorsement for BCNEX, It is highly unlikely that BCNEX could be a scam platform, team members have been visible and are seen responding to questions and contributing both here in the thread and in the telegram group

The bcnex Admin on the thread has been of immense assistance in responding to questions and resolving doubts. Their telegram group is quite interactive and would be quite helpful. I suggest that you drop your questions on the telegram group, you're get your answers swiftly. You can locate the telegram group with this link - https://t.me/Bcnex_Official

Every one with a kyc verified account can participate in the trading competition. The competition has been divided into four stages and there would be winners for individual stage. Virtual currency of $100,000 would be credited to the accounts of participants who are to carry out the trades in the exchange.
You can read more about the competition by checking out the link below :

Yes, I agree with the fact that Bcnex is not giving any indication to be a scam ICO, but we all know that in the cryptocurrency space, anything can happen. Not every scam ICO gave a clear signal before their departure. I just hope that we are not mistaken by the attributes they portray.

I totally agree with this. One has to be extra careful with funds. With the influx of trading platforms in the cryptocurrency industry, there has been increasingly cases of scam exchanges. Its our duty to safeguard our resources by not rushing to make deposits into exchange without carrying out our own research.

If you can carefully go through the thread, you'll find out that questions and comments has been responded by the Bcnex representative. You cannot expect the rep to be on the thread always to respond to questions, that explains why there are other social media handles, of which telegram is most suitable for questions and answers sessions.

Even if they don't consider, that doesn't mean it would result in scam or something like that..
In my experience  , it doesn't happen due to no or low kyc, but due to mis-management and dishonest teams, which is not the case here..

Its too early to say if the project will turns out to be a legit one or not, It will take time build trust in the crypto community.

As soon as the exchange is live and starts working that's the only time we can speculate if the project is good or not.

Its too early to say if the project will turns out to be a legit one or not, It will take time build trust in the crypto community.

As soon as the exchange is live and starts working that's the only time we can speculate if the project is good or not.

When it comes to investment, we need to keep on mind that there will be always some kind of risk involved. Check experience of project team members. And keep eye on project development.
