Could these be made profitable again through underclocking?  Say, installing an 8Mhz crystal to operate at a slower speed. (8x28x32=7168Mhs)

I have a few of these that I turned off recently.   I am thinking about putting them back online and underclocking them for reduced power usage.

anyone tried this?  If I could get them under 4W/Gh it might be worth it.

You could try something like Anubis if you have a computer that is on anyway.  It listens for api calls from cgminer/bfgminer.

edit: you can set the api port to whatever you like.  this should get you around a firewall.

I received one with a bad temp sensor.  Fans ran at 100%.  Replaced it myself and all is well.  

Oddly, this same unit, overclocked to 387.5Mhz, has almost no errors!  Maybe 1 a day.

5. Half amperage allows me to double up on some outlets.

Got all of my stuff on a refitted 240V circuit.  30A breaker outside.  I think it was an old dryer circuit.  Have 8 750W power supplies running at about 60-70%

load each.  Used an inductance meter to measure before/after 120V to 240V switch, same load.  Netted about 120W reduction in usage and power cords that are

cold to the touch.  Anything warm on AC voltage side makes me nervous.  Small benefit but worth the effort I think.

Is that each or for more than one.

What's your price for the singles?

Got one of these powering an overclocked Antminer.  Runs cool/quiet.  Voltages are good to.  Pulls about 450W at the wall.

Price? Availability? Shipping dates? Website?  So Many questions!
