Things like this that make me less like airdrop program, because they just cool to make a promise to pay, even though not pay at all, even though not all airdrops are like this, but because one or two airdrops like this will damage the reputation of the airdrop the others too.

I have read some of the members who participated in this airdrop received their XLM as promised and some are not. Most of the common reason for not receiving the airdrop is multiple accounts and other form of cheating to get more. Upon checking the Keybase airdrop announcement in their website, I saw this statement that is relevant to the OP's concern. Basically, don't get mad at us if something goes wrong here. It's a gift.

però c' è da dire che la sicurezza fisica può venire meno perché se ti rubano la carta puoi perdere dei btc essendo questi tipi di carte delle visa. Lo stesso vale per i cellulari: se si fregano il cellulare oggi uno potrebbe essere rovinato, pensateci ed esprimete una opinione. Si dovrebbe stare attenti anche a questo tipo di vulnerabilità. Se ti rubano la carta la blocchi, non è che perdi i fondi sopra, te ne rimandano una nuova e ricominci a usare quei fondi. Per il cellulare, se hai dei wallet sopra, basta mettere una password sicura e conservare il seed. Io ho coinomi, password da 12 lettere/numeri/caratteri speciali , seed conservato per bene in casa molto valido il ragionamento ma il seed lo conserverei solo in parte, l' altra la imparerei a memoria . Il problema è il resto. Prova a fingerti ladro ed usa il telefono "rubato " , ci sono tanti modi per spendere. |

The original plan for merit is to be given to quality post but unfortunately many are now selling it which is not supposed to be so. If this practice continues then we might loose quality post as those who makes quality post wont be encouraged to make quality post any longer. I will advice tha the forum ensures that merit is only given to those that deserves it and not to be sold. Any post that ia not meritable should not be awarded any merit
100% agree. Merit should only be given to quality posts. I see more merit being given to accounts reporting fraud in the forum. I am a little confused whether the quality of the post is comparable to other accounts that make mistakes / cheating? if it's really like that then there will be many snitchers later in this forum. In italian forum there are"two" accounts with 5 stars ( hero i think) that exchange continuously merits and the moderator don' t stop them. IMHO, this is going to be useless if most of the merchants and companies will make their very own dedicated coin. Because the purpose would only be on their jurisdiction and after that, what's next? This is like a reward system for their loyal users and if it's possible to convert it through cash, no doubt that many of those people that will receive their coin won't have any other thoughts to replace it with plain cash. It will make a noise but how long they can sustain that? they should rely on bitcoin all of the time.
About sustainibility i think to a number closed of airdrops. Eventually chained to the stars: example: the t shirt of Ronaldo. Airdrop for 100. Who takes the airdrop takes the shirt.. Then that's a different thing if your example is about Ronaldo's t-shirt, sure there will be a lot of takers for that airdrop. But as you mentioned on your post it's about the company paying you with their own token just like the other way around of customers paying them with their own coin. I don't really see the need for these anymore today, there's plenty of coins/tokens and there's bitcoin that they can actually use if they want to adopt cryptocurrencies and advertise. today the companies pay TV and internet. if they paid directly, people, would certainly have a greater return. We make a token, we distribute 100 original t-shirts, but then we move on to the sale of the others, maybe even giving tokens ( the payment) to do cool things |
