481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Criminals got balls because no COP or law to tackle them on: November 06, 2019, 06:03:46 AM
I read people's post on this forum saying even if regulations find its way to crypto space scams will never seize to exist and they keep comparing it to real life criminals even when we have COPS ,POLICE FBI, COURTS crime rate is still increasing, well this is my answer to all of you, in crypto space we don't have COPs or Police to hunt down scammers, accepted, but what do you think will happen if there is no cops, police, courts in real life? criminal activities will grow alot with no boundaries, it will be the same thing with crypto space, if there are laws that can jail scammers at least they will start hiding and there will be FEAR, unlike when there is nothing to fear off scammers now, scammers have too much freedom compare to real life criminals where there is something to tackle them.

Scammers continue to act until now due to unclear regulations governing the sale of new project tokens. The existing regulation to date is the regulation of trading in exchangers and therefore IEO is a safe way to invest in a new project even though it does not guarantee that the tokens from IEO will benefit after the initial listing.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: November 05, 2019, 10:08:03 AM
Cryptocurrency may not require KYC but because it involves many people in transactions in the market, government regulations are needed to protect investor funds. KYC is a component of regulation because without KYC, people can use the cryptocurrency market as a means of money laundering
Basically, KYC should be a mandatory for the ICO team and it's not for investors. But remember not so many people are doing big transaction and is that make sense for those people are giving tips to others must complete KYC verification?
Mostly people verified their KYC on exchange site which is used only to verify the user's identity to make sure if that is not coming from the restricted country.
Even exchange site itself is manipulating its market and not all of people have intention to do money laundring.

If the government regulates the ICO, the developer team and the investor should carry out the KYC, this is for the safety of investor funds and also for the developer team to comply with government regulations. KYC should be a common thing in any market and because the cryptocurrency market has begun to be recognized by some governments, it is only natural that investors must carry out KYC in regulated exchangers
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Facebook coin going on: November 05, 2019, 10:04:59 AM
Recently there is lots of bad news are coming for fb coin Libra. In this circumstances what do you think Libra coin is going?

It is difficult to ascertain whether the Libra coin project will continue or not because it is still constrained by regulations. But seeing the seriousness of Facebook in the development of Libra Coin, this coin may still be made because there is great potential in the future. With a large amount of funds, the team from Facebook, I think, is able to find legal loopholes so that they escape from existing regulations
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 04, 2019, 09:02:01 AM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you

I think it depends on the project. If the developer team is able to provide a rational explanation to bounty participants and also the community, I think the bounty hunter can accept that explanation and continue the campaign. But I think it all depends on us, whether we will continue to the campaign or not because usually every bounty campaign gives the option to leave the campaign in the middle of the road and the stake obtained will remain safe
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: November 04, 2019, 08:52:03 AM
not all tokens that we have really exist on the market, a lot of tokens that we have only become invaluable junk and who knows how long the tokens will be on the market, I am very confused by all this, why do some tokens become trash, can anyone explain?

Agree that many tokens have become junk and even the project has been abandoned by the developer team. This happened because the developer team failed to deliver the roadmap and also the target in the whitepaper. In addition, there are also many developer teams that have aimed to deceive investors from the beginning and carry off the money from the sale of tokens
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Do We Still Have Legit Altcoin Bounties? on: October 30, 2019, 11:42:20 PM
Although there are a lot of scam bounty programs around, there are still legitimate bounties that also pay reasonable rewards. The challenge has been that it now become very difficult to find a project that would end up as a success story. It seems bounties is now lucrative to only members with higher ranks who can afford to promote projects and get paid in bitcoin through signature campaigns.

I agree that the challenge now is to find a good project because not all projects are scams. One way to find it is to follow a campaign organized by a long-standing and reputable bounty manager. A good bounty manager will not handle a bad project because they are directly related to the developer team in terms of knowing about the project
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency on: October 29, 2019, 10:09:00 AM
I think by making its own cryptocurrency, it doesn't mean that the Chinese government wants to turn off the cryptocurrency market. Every government should create cryptocurrency that they can control. The cryptocurrency market will probably be a digital asset market and maybe only projects with good products can survive
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: October 29, 2019, 10:05:51 AM
From my point of view, scam projects have taken away the glory of genuine projects.
Due to too many scams around crypto space, investors are not confident on investing in new projects. It's Becoming very difficult day by day to find out the legitimacy of the projects.
This in turn affecting the projects and result of this is not raising the funds as expected and required for further development of projects. This is daviating projects from their roadmap which is resulting in too much delay or even failure.
Missing interest in investors is somehow obstacle to growth and further research of dApps projects.
I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent, but is there any other way to stop the scamming and not just going away from it?
Please apply your thoughts.

The scam project affects investor confidence and scares new investors who want to invest in the cryptocurrency market. Trust is important in the investment world, including in the cryptocurrency market and this is proven by many ICOs who are unable to achieve sales targets, in contrast to the era before 2018 where many ICOs received funds of up to millions of dollars
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: October 23, 2019, 11:39:06 AM
why is disappointed? the crypto market like this. up and down cannot be determined. This is a risk we must face when entering the crypto market. not only is ethereum the past two years almost all altcoins have experienced the same thing going up a bit and falling more. but I am optimistic that in the future ethereum will pump again. because ethereum will release eth version 2.0 maybe after this launch eth will go up. investing cryptocurrency is not a way to get rich overnight. investing in crypto requires patience.
Some people think that crypto is a get rich quick scheme, that mentality is obviously wrong. From 2018 till date, the entire crypto market has been dwindling with many coins going down the drain. It's not only Ethereum, I have a few coins which I'm holding for long term and have dumped more than half below the price I bought. It's all about patience and also, crypto investment is not for the chicken hearted, it's for people who understand the risk in investing. Always invest what you can afford to lose should be the motto for crypto investors.

I agree, it is true that the fall in ethereum prices at this time is also experienced by almost all coins on the market and this is common in any market where prices always fluctuate. Ethereum is a good coin that has great liquidity and is also supported by the developer team, if we are patient, I think the price of ethereum will recover and maybe next year it can reach $ 500
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 21, 2019, 05:38:29 AM
If you want more profitable investment, don't get into ICOs because they are dead now and the new trend is IEOs which are better than ICOs because they are efficient because they are already listed in an exchange and there is a bigger chance to make a profit in IEOs compare to ICOs because the hype is better as long as you join into big projects and not to those sketchy IEOs.
Of course, IEOs are trending now and comparing ICO to IEO, it is clear that the structure and mechanism of operation of IEO is far better than ICO because the token sales are hosted on an exchange platform. This grants the coin the opportunity to get listed on that exchange right after the token sales ends. However, this does not mean all IEOs are worth investing in. It is always good to go by the principle of performing ones own personal research on the IEO before investing.

I think not all IEO is better than ICO. In my opinion, everything depends on the project. There are several projects that still choose the ICO path and they succeed in achieving sales targets because investors believe in the team behind the project. IEO might be a good alternative but if we look at the current condition of IEO, many IEO prices fall after the initial listing
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption Over Bull Run on: October 21, 2019, 05:34:31 AM
I see a lot of people complaining about the volatility of crypto market with the prices of all their altcoins have reducing drastically, and they hope for the bull run to come and everything should increase. I think that the bull run is not the best solution to the volatility of the crypto market, but adoption.

The best and main solution to the volatility of the crypto market is real world adoption. There are alot of cryptocurrency project that are very good and innovative but are not yet adopted that people outside the crypto space (which is a few percentage of the world economy), therefore there value is subjected to the market changes. But if they get adopted by the real world and there token value is based on the real economy (i.e daily usage by people) then the value would be on the increase regardless of whether the market is bullish or bearish.

Well said mate, adoption is the key thing needed. Once the entire world accept the use of cryptocurrency, volatility will be a thing of the past since the market will be somehow stable. Personally, I don't really see cryptocurrencies as digital money but as an investment commodity. Only the adoption by the entire world can help cryptocurrency to be a digital fiat or currency..

Adoption might be able to lift prices and transactions in the cryptocurrency market but if the adoption is cryptocurrency as a means of payment in lieu of money, I think this is difficult. The government certainly will not want its authority as the holder of financial circulation disturbed. But if the adoption acts as a digital asset or tokenization of securities, I think this can happen.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: StableCoins might increase crypto adoption by big companies ? on: October 14, 2019, 06:04:20 AM
You all might be knowing that Steam used to accept payments in bitcoin through BitPay, but they abruptly stopped it stating the price volatility of bitcoin to be the issue.
Stablecoins eliminates this very issue, could this encourage Steam or other companies like Amazon, etc. to start incorporating cryptocurrencies into their payment systems.
Is it possible some stablecoin might outperform bitcoin regarding this?

In my opinion, it's hard for stable coins to beat bitcoin in price. I welcome it if more and more big companies issue stable coins as long as the coins are backed up with large funds and properly audited. This will give traders the choice in choosing stable coins that are trusted and might make market conditions more attractive
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bad developers have tarnished ICO! on: October 08, 2019, 11:43:05 AM
The successful of a project takes years to achieve and right from the beginning of every project's life challenges will arose, my question is how will we know which developer will be fully ready for this? developers are humans just like us, they can succeed or fail and we investors are only investing not on the project itself but the developer, if he exit scam we lose, if he fails we lose and if he succeed we all win
Correct, the fate of any projects are in the hands of the team, developers success will also the success of it's supporters. We can't change then fact that it's our responsibility to be aware from every possibilities that the developers have to offer. How they work will reflect to the project itself, if they succeed from the work they offer every followers will also experienced the same thing. It will bring benefits to holders .

If the developer team is able to fulfill what is in the roadmap and in accordance with the whitepaper, investors will surely survive and there will probably be new investors. But many projects are left by the developer team so that investors do not believe the product can be produced in accordance with what is in the whitepaper. Projects like this that traumatize investors to invest in new projects
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Is The Right Time To Trade Your Tokens on: October 07, 2019, 06:25:54 AM
I just saw this article posted in Medium and this is so interesting. It will help you to know when is the right time to trade your altcoins to earn big profits!

This article entitled "The battle for $10000". Enjoy reading!
Link: https://medium.com/mark-price/the-battle-for-10000-d6abfdfee151

Always follow the price action, do not trade just because your friend told you. Study different analysis that can help you to become a better trader. You can easily know when is the right time to enter and exit in the market.

Agree, smart traders must trade based on analysis and have a strategy to create profit. Trading based on the analysis of others without understanding the strategies used can be difficult for ourselves. In my opinion, the cryptocurrency market is still young and there is a greater potential for growth so that if we hold good coins, it's better to keep for the long term
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: October 02, 2019, 06:24:44 AM
Well there is surely the tendency of having the altcoin market increasing in the future but only sold projects with working products would rise after this fall. Hence the reason why you have to do a good research about the projects you are investing into so as to not lose your funds. Most of the ICOs that were launched have failed and team members have abandoned their projects.

I agree, only Altcoin which already has a large product and liquidity will be able to survive against the dominance of bitcoin. I agree that bitcoin dominance will not last long and altcoin will be able to rise but in my opinion not all altcoins will be able to last for the long term, only altcoin with a solid developer team will continue to survive
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: October 02, 2019, 06:15:22 AM
I am determined to buy FB coin Libra even though it is not available yet. I hope it is available on exchanges where i can buy easily.

Will it be a threat to BTC and other altcoins? I am afraid that the prices of BTC and other altcoins will go down. It makes me hesitate to buy some currencies like TRX currently.

I think Libra Coin will make transactions in the crypto market more attractive. After Facebook announced that it would launch Libra Coin, price of bitcoin rose steadily and now above $ 13,000. I think Libra Coin will have a positive influence on the cryptocurrency market

People does not know a lot about Libra, but they know this coin is own by Facebook so they are investing in the crypto space now.
Most of the them are buying bitcoin so we are seeing a bitcoin rocket again.

The action of facebook is pro crypto so this really brings positive result, if we still remember during the last year's ban, the effect was negative and it has a big negative effect and now it's a big opposite of the effect. We should be thankful with this, without FB announcement, we won't reach this high now.

Agree, Libra Coin will influence many new investors to invest in the cryptocurrency market. Liquidity will increase and investor confidence will continue to be maintained. In my opinion, a lot of positive effects will be felt when Libra Coin starts to trade on exchangers even though it might affect the price of existing coins
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance on: October 02, 2019, 06:11:56 AM
I would like to play devil's advocate
From this article I read
Quote
“Unlike the volatility seen around other cryptocurrency’s in the past, we believe that Libra’s focus on creating a stable, low inflation currency backed by a reserve or real assets is a differentiator. Further, unlike other stablecoins, Libra will not be pegged to one currency but instead a basket of assets ranging from bank deposits to short-term government securities.”
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/18/the-difference-between-bitcoin-and-facebooks-libra.html

Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance in the market, your thought?

Libra Coin could shift the dominance of bitcoin in the market. With more than 2 billion Facebook members worldwide, if only 20% of the members use or save $ 100 Libra Coin, then if I'm not mistaken, a $ 200 billion market cap will be created just for Libra Coin. This will make at least the dominance of altcoin like ethereum or top 5 will be displaced and it could be that the dominance of Bitcoin is displaced by Libra Coin
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO & IEO investment without SCAM on: October 01, 2019, 01:04:49 PM
In my opinion, it is currently difficult to distinguish between ICO and IEO investments without a scam. because the ICO and IEO scam or not we only know when a project ends. we must be careful in investing in ICO or IEO. one thing we must do before investing is we must be able to analyze as much detail as possible.

I agree, the project will be known as a scam at the final stage after the sale period ends, while projects that have been listed on the exchanger even though the price falls far below the sales price cannot be categorized as a scam. In this case IEO might be safer even though the risk is the initial price at the exchanger is below the IEO price but at least the token listing in the market.
But there are also many good ICOs that can achieve sales targets even though the market conditions are not good and this is usually because they have partnerships with various companies or do have products.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: September 30, 2019, 05:20:16 AM
I am a little bit disappointed on Ethereum, because some other altcoins are doing better than Ethereum. It becomes one of the most volatile currency nowadays. I agree with you that it is difficult to pick the right time for sale and buy Ethereum. I hope, with the 2.0 upgrade, Ethereum will be back on the previous position when Ethereum followed Bitcoin movements, Bitcoin at 10K USD means Ethereum at 800-1000 USD!

The conditions that occur in ethereum actually occur on other coins. With the emergence of many new coins that want to compete with ethereum, I think ethereum is having a tough moment, starting from market conditions and also increasingly fierce competition. But because ethereum is traded on almost all major exchangers, I think ethereum will be able to survive and the price still has the potential to recover
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old Bounties VS New Bounties on: September 25, 2019, 05:38:45 AM
They both have their advantages and disadvantages

Old Bounties
1.You will have more confidence promoting the project because there is more higher chances of getting paid.
2. You can keep for long term since theyve been around for awhile so you dont have to worry about project exiting scam anytime.
3. They are already listed on many exchanges and you dont have to hold them in your wallets for a very long time like many new projects
4.Payouts and rewards are extremely very low,ive earned 10$ for promoting a old bounty project for weeks.

New Bounties
1. New bounties are plague with one delay after another.
2. You might hold tokens or coins for more than a year due to not getting listed on exchanges very soon
3. The tokens or coins might be useless or find out the project is scam since many new projects are mostly scam or shit projects
4. Lots of work is required when doing research on new projects than already existing old projects
5. New bounties always brings the highest profits as per details derived from hunters.

What do you guys have to say about my post? Am i making any sense or not?

I think the post you made is very rational. Bounty on an old project that is already on the exchanger is safer but every bounty, both new and old, there are always pluses and minuses. Old bounties sometimes allocate small tokens with large numbers of participants while new bounties provide a large budget with not too many participants
