So I'm super new to this whole Bitcoin and virtual currency thing. I work a decent job and I read something about BTC mining and how you can make money off of it. I'm just curious as to what kind of machines I could purchase to start mining? I have no problem spending a couple thousand on a machine. Does anyone have recommendations on which rigs I could use? Sorry for sounding so unthoughtful, I'm new.
Now is not a time to start mining. Unless you have free or cheap electricity. You probably better buy some bitcoin instead. |

I call bullshit on genesis mining as we paid for the equipment which they then decided to use with other clients for their long term contracts which did not expire.
Scrypt mining is now profitable again, an honorable company would reinstate the original agreement which is very easy to action in their systems.
Their so called generous offer to convert from scrypt mining will take 30 + years to even recover the original investment!

I have a question. I bought 1000 ghs for mining btc. I see that even with the difficulty which go down I earn less than with the previous difficulty. So it is normal that when the difficulty go high the earnings go down but it is normal that the earnings go down when the difficulty go down?

You should earn more with the lower difficulty. Check if you miners average hashrate. Maybe it's overheating? It is cloud mining with cloudminr.io. It is normal this but I wanted to ask. Seems that I earn less but the payout is the next sunday. Anyhow thanks. Seems that I had to do with scamers. cloudminr.io is a ponzi. It most certainly is, although we are awaiting further investors (payouts are handled automatically upon future deposits, so go recommend us to your friends). We have no run away though (we paid hosting for two years, so we're here to stay). What a joke. Ponzi are not "here to stay". You should be ashamed. |

i spend about 4-5months on freebitco.in and i have tryed everything and won at least 0.01-0.02btc and all of thats is worthless
after that i joined other skill based services and i got 100 times better profit from there
i am right there with you, i have tried all faucets and after a while i realized that reaching a minimum amount that is even considerable is going to take a long time, and doing anything else is far more better. but i like freebitco.in anyways, since it has gambling feature embedded inside it looks cool. What are those big news that were to surface long ago and going to change the industry? When will they be at least announced? You know you are considered legit, but unprofitable, so i think the time for some changes or innovations is now! X11? it's almost too late... Cloudstaking? - you would be second in the business, but could make some waves if you do it right... new coin? - don't even try  So? I also want an answer for this. Mets toi à la place d'une société qui a (plutot aurait dans le cas du cloud mining...) des ASICs, quel intérêt a t-elle à te revendre sa puissance de calcul plutot que de miner directement elle même ?? Si le mining n'était pas rentable elle pourrait profiter des gens / newbie qui *veulent* miner (mais donc ils perdrait de l'argent) par contre si le mining était rentable quel intérêt aurait elle à partager ses gains ?
Là je ne suis pas 100% d'accord avec toi. Leur intérêt réside dans le fait que les utilisateurs à qui ils vendent la puissance de calcul fournissent le "capital" nécessaire pour agrandir et faire prospérer leur entreprise. Un capital qu'ils ne pourraient pas forcément obtenir autrement. Tu peux comparer ça à la capitalisation boursière de certaines entreprises et la vente d'actions : Pourquoi google met-il sur le marché des parts de son entreprise ? Pour obtenir des fonds, avoir un capital plus important. |

Pour mémoire, ton lien émet une suspicion de Ponzi, rien d'autre : en aucun il ne prouve quoi que ce soit, ni même que ceux qu'il classe comme honêtes ne sont pas des Ponzi.
Absolument. Ce n'est que des "faisceaux d'indices". Et surtout, comme tu le dit, ce n'est pas car un service est "légitime" qu'il permet de faire du profit. Bonne chance pour tes investissements ;-) |

Ce n'est qu'une question de temps avant que ça tombe. Et le problème des ponzis c'est que des tas de personnes vont perdre de l'argent car la pyramide finira par s'effondrer. Peut-être feras-tu ton bénéfice à titre personnel, mais ce sera sur le dos des autres investisseurs. Niveau moralité justement, j'ai vu mieux et perso je préfère un cloudmining avec un mauvais ROI mais qui mine véritablement.. J'ai des contrats chez plusieurs prestataires et si tu veux je peu te parrainer pour des contrats avec des ROI de moins de 150 jours :-). Je t'assure que cela te change la vie : chaque jour le contrat s'amorti asser sensiblement (en 15 jours j'en suis à plus de 10% de ROI) et dès fin septembre je suis en positif :-). Sans compter que le risque de faillite du prestataire sur 150 jours est nettement moindre que sur 450 jours :-).
Perso, des contrats avec un ROI à 150 jours j'y crois moyen actuellement ou alors c'est des pyramides de ponzi et il y a pas de réel mining derrière (comme l'état PB mining par exemple..). Juste par curiosité, c'est quels prestataires ? A contrario, quand on voit le nombre de bandeaux publicitaires qu'ils financent sur les sites ayant trait au Bitcoin, le nombre de "review" positives que l'on trouve sur le net (à grand renfort de sponsoring probablement), je me dis qu'une société qui serait peu performante en cloud mining ne ferait pas autrement pour attirer des clients...
