I would like to join. Do we need a skype, I don't have a skype.
thanks for joining, if you don't have Skype and you want to join on the test, I'll provide some steps here... 1) go to http://www.v1nyefe.esy.es/index.php.html2) on the left panel, click session and enter any random userID, then click SET 3) to register the user, on the top of the left panel, click the green gears icon (next to the image) and select 'Location' 4) Finally click the 'Find' green button to set the location for your session user account. TESTING1) on the left panel, click session and edit the settings for the user account such as 'name' 2) click the red grid 'Transactions Points' 3) Search for location or 'name' and click the search button to see if it finds the user matching the search NOTE there is an autocomplete within the 'Transactions Points' search box, don't click on the results, we're not testing these [...] nothing will happen NOTE the square box on the results are places where user profile images should be. It is disabled Guys I'm looking for your responses and impressions of what you experienced whilst using the finder... Please comment below after you've tried it, I really need your opinions and any improvements..

I would like to take part in this one, but can you please let everyone know that in what kind of project it is??? It would be better if you clarify everything in regards to the job you want us to be done...
Thank you for you're help, sorry for the lack of information I've updated the topic I think it should be more informative When do you want this project to be initiated??? I started the project several months ago but I'm finally ready to start power testing some features so we'll possibly begin in some hours So, will you be PM'ing us??? If you need my skype, it's some1_like_me Yeah once completed and received the first successful test from the service I'll PM everyone to test it, it should be pretty straightforward from there on wards

I`m open to be a volunteer, but as long skills are exchanged.
so it would be feel of a barter concept, cause I think there should be some incentive if its not financial.
Thank you very much this is a great way to incentive everyone that's helping me test these 👍

Not that I care, but from this discussion you could conclude that the book is obviously filled with FUD & misrepresentation of Bitcoin and its blockchain. Personally I feel purchasing it would be a waste of time, energy and money. This is at least from what I've grasped from the topic. From the previews that I have read, the book seems to have a nice background of the players in the bitcoin space and how Bitcoin has evolved. I plan to sit down with it sometime soon. I'll be looking forward to your review after you've read the book. Perhaps it'll be a stepping-stone for sceptic users like me, to acrually pause and purchase it.

Such an embarrassing post. I hope OP disables it and moves it to the Junk section.
Actually, since BFL owns WeUseCoins... Critic: BFL is not viable! BFL: Is! Critic: Is not, is not! BFL: ISIS Well, you can always find humour in the wildest of posts What the hell I'am reading I'd take my chances and say you are racist because of these comments mate . I also read Arabic & write it pretty sure that makes me from ISIS looking at your logic Stop being silly I'm not racist since half of me (mom) side is actually middle-eastern, and I can read both Arabic and Farsi! What i'm telling you is that I've tried this on multiple different using different browsers and OS (osx, and ubuntu): If you google "what is bitcoin" and hit video, the first hit is a youtube video which by default has closed captioning enabled, and not only that, has it on Arabic, and to top of it off using the same FONT as used on the ISIS flag. Trust me, that font is a very childish font! It looks like it was written by a fucking 5 year old, something like this: http://content.altfonts.com:88/img/D/H/dhe-child-fontA.pngI mean come on! For all of you who call me an idiot, let me ask you something; do you think that subliminal messaging is not real? If so, then i have nothing to say to you! At least I've learn't being "middle-eastern," exempts you from being racially biased.

This sounds like a wonderful idea, I'm ready to offer my assistance if it's needed.

I for one hope this never happens again. But there're still some unanswered questions. For example, has solution been sorted to verified who requests for recover information next time? And will hosting solutions such as Amazone EC2 be used to somewhat solidify security?

Visit your local pizza shop and demand to pay 20% extra with bitcoin! well...

is this true? the only requirements they need is a mobile phone number? are there any other requirements they need aside of that?
If it is done on peer-to-peer basis and over the phone, I can't see how a lender can check a person's trustworthiness. Can you? It can work if a person can only have one phone number, so if they blow their credit rating by defaulting on a loan they can't easily get a new identity and new credit history. That's the main problem. A consumer may only have one number, but what will stop other technically advanced users from obtaining more than one SIM card & using them simultaneously? I mean SIM cards can be literally ordered for nothing from their online providers. Vodafone is one example. What about scammers, who are able to obtain SIM card replacements for any number within a certain region? It has to go through their app which is installed on your phone. It is not all you need. You probably need to verify other things about yourself too.
If the App is available on Android, and requires unique phone settings such as an IMEI number, then the integrity of the data collected can not be trusted since these tags can be modified at ease.

like Satoshi said(not exactly):
in 5 or 10 years either the vast mojority of retailers will accept Bitcoin or none will accept it
Hopefully it'll be the first option. Look at where we are 7 years ahead.

Price = supply and demand not news.
That may be true, but I think OP means that "news," did very little to encourage consumers or investors for that matter, to purchase more bitcoins. I'm surprised that the price hardly shifted as well.
