481  Economy / Service Announcements / Build-Your-Own hosting package, pay in BitCoin! on: December 13, 2013, 11:55:24 AM
I've just pushed a new feature to CleverPuffin.com today. You'll now have the ability to create and customise your own hosting package, without having to choose our ready-made ones.

For the Build-Your-Own packages, only BitCoin is supported for the time-being. LiteCoin will possibly be supported in the future, but in the meantime, Litecoin customers can choose one of our ready-made packages.

I'll let you know how I get on, once someone reaches my 70,000 satoshi threshold  Cool
483  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I propose we merge custom hardware into mining hardware on: December 08, 2013, 12:01:42 AM
Definitely. The Regular mining board just seems to be discussions on GPU mining. Like, who does that nowadays?
484  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coinbase MiniFaucet Script (a MyFaucet replacement) on: December 07, 2013, 11:56:06 PM
Also I have been trying to figure out a way to post the current number of dispenses with a sql query for total rows. Any thoughts on this?

The SQL would be:
Code:
SELECT COUNT(id) AS `total` FROM `dispenses`

A note on this that took me ages to figure out: script requires PHP 5.3 or newer.
Tried running it on 5.2 and could figure out why it wasnt working, upgraded PHP and it's working Smiley
486  Economy / Services / CleverPuffin.com now accepting LiteCoin on: December 04, 2013, 06:33:41 PM
Not really sure if this should be here or in the altcoin forum, but alas, here it goes:

CleverPuffin.com now accepts LTC at checkout on all of the hosting packages Smiley

Call me a cynic but having the word "Embassy" in the title makes it seem like this is being run by a bunch of egotistical morons with delusions of grandeur.

Then again Leckey, it may be that your own contributions to the bitcoin community are so phenomenal that their puny efforts are meaningless to you.  Would you mind sharing all that you are currently doing for the community compared to those "egotistical morons with delusions of grandeur"?

Note where I say: "makes it seem like", not "these people are". Bottom line, the name makes them sound egotistical and stupid.

Why should one be restrained by legal means?

Two wrongs don't make a right!

Although that said, he has scammed a LOT of people.

Re: whether the word ambassador is political or not:
2 Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

The original quote is about two thousand years old but the translation into English  is just a few hundred

Oh my...  Roll Eyes

Really... a curated web directory? What is this, 1998?
496  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinAverage.com on: August 22, 2013, 01:26:16 PM
Good work! Would be even better if it was available in a neat little chrome extension. Might be something I'll just make myself though.
497  Economy / Services / Re: Good shared web hosts? on: August 16, 2013, 12:17:18 PM
I'd say cleverpuffin.com, but I'm biased in that regard!

Edit: Can also give you a week or two free trial to see how it suits you.
498  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [FREE BTC] ShareFaucet.tk - free BTC for doing nothing! on: August 16, 2013, 12:07:09 PM
Why the reliance on an inputs.io email address?
499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Bitcoin Web hosting? on: June 06, 2013, 12:16:29 AM
I run http://cleverpuffin.com - UK based shared hosting and we only accept bitcoin. Reseller for Heart Internet so good infrastructure, and we're cheap too!
500  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnCMiner Openday on: May 30, 2013, 01:34:26 PM
How do I file the tax return if I have all in BTC for example?

In this instance you'd have expenditure (on the mining machines) but no valid income (as you'd be holding it in BTC). But if you sell it on an exchange, then the income gained from that would be taxable.
If that's what you mean?
