For marketing purposes this story is just like a jewel!  I will be buying more sys tomorrow  Wink

(btw. I am sure Hollywood will be interested in a couple of years)
Are you kidding? The main dev of Syscoin vouched for Moolah's reputation to investors, then did next to nothing to recover for investors after the theft.

On the contrary, they did everything possible to regain the lost funds and, are still engaged. If you have a problem, take it up with the courts, that's where the hangup was and, still is. There are many people with bigger claims against Kennedy than SysCoin. With every ICO comes risk, we accept that here. You win, you loose but, life goes on and you don't blame people who fought to recover your money, you blame the criminal, Ryan Kennedy. And remember, it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

The final list of top 250 VRC holders who staked during the ICO: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FE3nTuYjshOQ5T-Y_jSfjdihUFrXuhMScbjw1jtA7Dc/edit?usp=sharing

If you see your address on this list, the VRM listed will be sent upon launch.

I see I'm on the list, way cool, thx!

9 hours left and more VRC coming in late in the ICO. Good stuff!

What it's mean that this price coin will be up again.?

Sadly no the blind vericoin apologist will say it's market manipulation.  Which I think now is some what correct so few people care about the coin they raise and dump the prices as they see but it's never going to be any more then that.  Its unfortunate the developers are great smart ethical people but they have no direction on how to promote the coin.  Also this is a hobby for the most part so there time is limited do to family, work and life.  So on a day where the price should be rising and people should be happy with anticipation it's just a flat day with very little noise.

Thanks for your opinion, i agree with you.
We just hope the developers caring about this coin and will be smart to promote the coin.

I hold a pretty big bag but I don't think they are.  I gave them the contact info of my friend who owns a marketing firm and they didn't even give him a curiosity call which is free.  My friend has knowledge about crypto would not have heavily charged them and if he couldn't help them he would of been up front.  There idea of marketing is voting on every issue on their forum which doesn't work.  So the marketing money they did raise there going to throw away since they will be no purpose but to try and see what happen by copying what other coins have done.

Dude! Would you drop it already...they didn't use your friend big deal.

Your looking for a pump so you can dump, the devs are not looking to pump they want a gradual rise and adoption. Marketing will come but not in the time frame your looking for. Let go already and enjoy the ride.

With a marketing budget in place we need to be smart on how it's spent and that takes patience to find the right way to do that.

As I said blind vericoin apologist.  I've been invested in this coin for over 2 years and right now your I'm waiting for a decent pump to get out.  When people post ask questions I'm going to give them my feelings if you or anyone  don't like it ignore me.

Wow, 2 years eh? Then you should know that "pumps" are coin killers. It takes time, not pumps, to add real value. If you don't like the way things work, sell, it's that simple...

Question: Downloaded and installed 32 bit Win Wallet but still shows 1.6.5.0 not 1.6.5.1 as shown on the OP. Normal?

if bottom left corner of wallet window says 1.6.5.0, then no something isn't installed correctly.  Make sure downloaded installer is 1.6.5.1 and try uninstalling wallet in add remove programs first, then install again.

That did the trick, all is well, thanks for the quick support!

the price should go up with news sys 2.1 for next week and price is down
some explanation? Huh

No explanation really. The markets do what they do. If it could all be explained, we would all be very rich...

syscoin team keeps silence, despite their roadmap promised some good news during the first week of august... something went wrong?
Internal testnet for 2.1 just hours ago... soon advisory panel will test then we can releasr to mainnet if all is good

I hardly understand what you mean... well, no serious news, as far as I understand... roadmap? it’s just what we want not what we do, I see.

Go back and read the thread to see what is happening, they are on track...

would you please show the audience the exact place the syscoin team stands on right now according to your "on track"? cause all I see now is they are out of all tracks possible.
is that done: Syscoin 2.1 Release. Release target is first week of August. ? look at today’s date...

Beta was released before target and we were going to hit target for mainnet release but bugs were found (aren't you glad that we did thorough testing?) and now I've written unit tests around the cases that broke (because of pruning, not going to go into that because I don't think you will understand) and now we are at a point where we can test again and if ALL GOES WELL we will release... what part of that did you not understand? Welcome to the world of software development.

Thanks a lot for your answer, now it’s getting more clear. Wish you good luck!
though I often yell "we all gonna die", deep in my heart I beleive syscoin is a great choice, indeed)))

Sorry but i've been working on it all day every day.. .take a look at the github if you don't believe me. I want to get it out ASAP just like you want but this release is dubbed the "quality" release for a reason. We need to make sure its production ready before the mass takes it on... its more complicated than any other marketplace project out there.

I've invested hundred of hours and written hundreds of unit tests to cover bases and weird cases that one can do using the marketplace.. the quality is very high now... but we need to sanity test internally before letting go in the wild. Hop on our slack to get a more personal view of what is going on.

Thank you for taking the "high road" and making sure you are releasing quality code, it separates SYS from many of the others and instills confidence in your team and, SYS itself.

489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: August 10, 2016, 03:17:22 PM
Yeah it's pretty exciting stuff. One of the reasons it takes so much time is the security of the system, performance of the client and also the complexity of decentralizing these things. Also because I'm the only coder, when life gets in the way, it causes delays. Regardless, this month I'm back to coding full time.

For example, Bitcoin has been working on the lightning network for years, companies such as 21 and others. Ideas that seem simple can prove to take lots of time to code. Also, in a perfect world I would love to start over from scratch with a team. Knowing what I know now about blockchains. It would be awesome to rewrite Bitcoin. There are so many ideas but it would only work if I wasn't the only coder.

It's not a surprise that we are seeing the rise of centralized blockchain such as Steemit. And we will see many more in the next 10 years. As predicted.

Yeah so this is why decentralized exchanges, side chains, notary, lightning networks and pegging systems are so crucial

Altcoins have the advantage of testing faster, forking easier, and trying new ideas.

The rolling peg is simple in theory however, it has tons of small features. The biggest challenge was finding a protocol that was decentralized and secure. The method chosen is really awesome. I want to write a paper on it, but some of the core members have advised me to wait before the release so it doesn't get used by the competition. It is tempting though.

Also thanks to everyone who still follows this project. Thanks for your loyalty. It really helps drive the project forward.

You scammed so many coins, and do nothing release, you and your balckshitcoin are both dead,. And how did you spend the fund? All on drugs and hookers??

Ah, humor, now that's funny! Before posting again, see if you have some time to learn to spell and type, it would help to make your idiotic point...
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: August 10, 2016, 03:14:09 PM
when will this coin be %5 of a dollar?

How about never. This has been ruined by someone who is clueless how the market works. Judging by the books and stagnation I'd say one person owns well over 50% now if that was a whale that new the game, this could rocket! However, as I said someone who is clueless is holding them.

That same person will destroy their investment lol because there is no room for proper players to get in without taking the price to levels where this coin is not worth and will not give them room to profit.

All in all, this coin will die because of that big holder and the volume will always remain as terrible as it is now.

Message to big holder........

You are killing your own investment lol

Interesting point of view but, wrong. I've been with BitBay since the IPO and all the BS that followed. My wallet is in the top 50 and I certainly don't see things the way you do. The "big holder" is most likely an exchange so, there goes your theory. Funny how you sound so much like one of Bob's little boy toys...

Hi

I totally agree with what was written previously on this forum : an owner of 5% of the now total supply of CLOAKs must get exactly 5% of the number of the new coin ! 5% is an example, a guy owning 0.02% should also get not less than 0.02% of your new future coin !

Hi Ratatosk! No way! Grin Kiss

why no way???
Because Grin How will be finance future projects? From community ?? Roll Eyes So funny !! Never Angry
Our community only want, without giving Grin Most niggardly community Grin
And ICO coming........for all misers Grin

Unlike you, I've been invested in CLOAK/ONEC since the beginning and I would like to see a 1 to 1 swap. Funding can be handled in many other ways including simply asking for donations...

495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HAM - HamRadioCoin - SHA 256 - Crypto on the radio! Official Thread on: August 08, 2016, 01:57:09 PM
Did you ever think of building in a marketplace where people can buy and sell ham gear maybe even in the wallet.
You can use smart contracts and actually give ham operators a real reason to get involved.

I have thought of a lot of things, but alas no one on here seems to want to help.

Re your smart contracts suggestion do you mean implementing our own code for it or simply integrating something like BAY into the wallet ?

I dont think bay, but maybe eth or lisk or waves. Im sure some of those are offering smart contracts.
The good thing about a marketplace and amateur radio operators is the ability to get rare items listed and if it's indexed with google then when someone searches hygain galaxy550a you'll show up and if they want to buy it they'll need to buy HAM in order to get that rare item they've been looking for for years.

Perhaps some sort of arrangement could be worked out with eHam (http://www.eham.net/) They move a lot of gear in their forums and are well respected by the community. I have purchased several items there and it would seem that they may support the coin since they facilitate buying and selling of equipment.

Just a thought, there are others as well...

PS: A table at HamVention in Dayton Ohio in May would open a LOT of doors!

496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HAM - HamRadioCoin - SHA 256 - Crypto on the radio! Official Thread on: August 08, 2016, 01:46:23 PM

HAM is evolving and will become HAM v2 and will be a POW/POS hybrid wallet

It will involve a brand new wallet and code that will require a coin swap
It will have a premine of 7010000 which is close to the current HAM money supply and will be used for the coin swap.

At present I am inclined to do the following

Algo = SHA256 ( would like x13 though personally )

POW Reward = 2 HAMv2
POW Block time = 4 mins

POS Reward = 1 HAMv2
POS Block time = 2 mins

The above specs are not set in stone and can be changed so if you feel its wrong or would like to make argument for change please do so within the next 48 hours.

You now have 3 choices the way I see it:

A/ Sell your HAM
B/ Buy HAM
C/ Hold what you have and swap ( when applicable )

I am still hoping some of you will want to join in and help the HAM team and keep this coin going

Thanks
Crunck

Welcome back! Glad to see the ship once again has a captain. What your proposing sounds and I, for one, will hold and swap hoping for a brighter future for HamRadioCoin.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRC] VeriCoin PoST Currency | [PRE-ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT Reserve on: August 08, 2016, 01:36:26 PM
so when i say that ico structure is EPIC FAIL...lol under 10 btc volume ..no one care's to buy..no motive !!!!!!! Vericoin has the best marketing minds lol

Yeah there hasn't been any marketing and look how much has been invested so far without marketing. Vericoin is not here to pump a price but to move its technology forward. Vericoin has been off Bitcointalk for over a year so a majority of people on here don't know anything about Vericoin or Verium.

Price movement will come after the marketing budget starts to be put towards pushing information about how Vericoin and Verium will be a game changer which will be.

The Verium ICO has already raised a over 320+ BTC at the current price which give Vericoin/Verium a budget to develop and market which it has never had before. Look at all the wasted ICO'S which never produced a thing just Bitcoin that disappeared into someone's pocket. The Vericoin developers have proven themselves time and time again to be honest, transparent and hard working developer s who have developed with no budget. Imagine what they can do with an actual budget!

Very well said. It's nice to have a dev team that actually knows something about what their doing. Anyone can push a PR release, not many can do whats happening here.

I trade on Poloniex and would like to get this coin added. Has this development team done anything special in relation to blockchain tech?

Nope

They not going to add Gulden as you have no association with any of the "elite" groups that run the crypto world. Your one of the few independent currencies running. Good on you guys! Will have to send some btc to trex.

This also means shapeshift will never add Gulden and any other services the same groups have control over.

Your 2nd post? Interesting words from a newbie although I doubt your so new. Since you know so much, what is your plan to market Gulden?
