I've got ads in my wallet??

This is strictly a Web wallet that runs in a browser? Or am I  missing something..

where on earth do you see adds?

Lol i had ads at the top of the wallet and numerous popup. . I dunno.  I guess the browser or wallet is susceptible to adware?   Is it supposed to run in a browser? Maybe I did something wrong.

Nem needs a browser to run?

LOL. It looks like you installed some bad software while surfing for porn/warez, bro  Kiss

warez, there is a name I haven't heard in a long time.

Did you download winzip?
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Beta is here/Phase 2 Redemption begins[Updates&Discussion] on: October 29, 2014, 09:33:20 PM
If I upgrade my NEM wallet will that interfere with my redemption as I am part of Phase NXT AE... I sent in my private key and address from the old version.

Also, is there a way to see my "real" NEM address if I have the private key?

You sent in your private key to where? Did you read the instructions at all? The private key generated from the old wallet has nothing to do with the new Beta NEM wallet.

Understand that if you have a set of keys to a new house, you keep them in a safe place. When the new house is completed, you can then use the key.

Until then you can shift to as many temporary houses as you want. It will not affect the key you have been keeping because that is the key that you will be finally using when your new house is completed.

The temporary houses are all the NEM BETA or Alpha wallets. The key generated is for the new wallet (i.e., the new house) that is to be used at launch and is not ready for download yet.

If you sent your private key to somewhere, it means you have given the key to someone to occupy your new house. The public key is your address to your new house so that the courier (i.e., Pat) can deliver the coins to that house when it is ready. You use the private key to open that house and you will find the coins in there.

I actually do not understand why this is all so difficult to understand. It beats me really.

Sorry I didn't send my private key, just my address. That was a mistake on my part. Sorry to frustrate you.

I was just asking if I could still access my wallet address so I could see it by utilizing my private key, and I wanted to ensure I would still redeem my NEM if I do or do not upgrade to the newest version.

Wether you upgrade or not doesn't matter at this point. However the latest version facilitates a checktool which let's you verify your keys and address so I'd suggest to go ahead and do it Smiley

This worked beautifully! Thank you for your kind assistance!

Hello,

We are unable to locate the wallet or ICO page in which this possible theft has occured. Feel free to link us any information towards their Bitcoin wallet, how many funds you have invested so we can get a greater understanding how much of users funds were lost.

Coins Source is not bound by an NDA with Nexus, and will proceed with further action if the founders of Nexus do not get in contact with us.

Anyone here, feel free to contact me:

Skype: Anaxai9

Best Regards,
T.k. Hamed

Contacted coinsource as my funds have not been refunded and no response from developers on multiple attempts.

I will also be posting in fluttercoin as he is a co-developer there.

No response from developers? I've responded to you less than 24 hours ago...

As for your refund, it has been sent:

Transaction ID for BTC you sent to the IDP wallet:
https://blockchain.info/tx/953c97166b63f943ccf8eeee08257fc13600be4b47d61cdb9887c08de377e0ff

Refund Transaction ID:

Your BTC address transactions:
https://blockchain.info/address/1HDtWdzhN1G6d9gKeY2XyhnrJNYPGipSba

The transactions show that you have received the BTC

953c97166b63f943ccf8eeee08257fc13600be4b47d61cdb9887c08de377e0ff is the correct ID but my BTC address I sent from was from an exchange and the address is :1M39vGwEXhM7AoRToxoP5Luq9PT51cfpMY

I have not recieved ANY BTC from you. Apparently someone else has. Per coin source I was asked to give you 24 hours to resolve this.

So, nothing new happening here?  Huh

The community has shifted again to newer members and the price is still in the 11-14 sat range. Reddcoin makes great attempts to market itself but falls on its face undeservedly. Nothing new.

Smiley It never fell. Stabilised at 13 - 15 Sat from earlier 8 Sat levels.
The intermediate peak of 40Sat os just like stocks peak.
Wait for Social-X to come and I expect a price range above 150Sat.

Above 150 when SOcial X is released? Ill be back here the day after to see if you are celebrating...

When I click the start local harvesting button, it says "The provided account does not satisfy the basic criteria for harvesting. Mainly it is related to the amount of NEMs within the account. Harvesting starts with at least 1000 NEM." My account has +400,000 NEM. Any ideas?
you need to wait until the men are "Vested"

Exactly. Wait until the men are vested. Aint nobody got time for naked men !

We may well end up with 300-400 unclaimed stakes. That is pretty good by any standard!

Whats the latest on the use of unclaimed stakes and how does it differ from OP? I was following the discussion earlier but the thread has become so large since redemption started, I cant find the final result/decision

NEM will have a maximum of 4 000 000 000 coins, all distributed with the genesis block. Each NEM coin will be divisible to 6 figures (i.e. the smallest amount of NEM is 0.000001 NEM). The total supply will be distributed as follows:

71% - distributed to stakeholders on the final stakeholder list.
10% - reserved for the core development team to fund development of the NCC and NIS up to the release of V.1 of the blockchain.
10% - reserved for the core development team to fund development of the NCC and NIS after the release of V.1 of the blockchain.
5% - reserved for the extended development team; those who are working on promoting NEM and the NEM ecosystem.
4% - auctioned off at a later date.

You can't find the final decision because there hasn't been a final decision.

Although there is some talk on raising the number of stakes to 8 Billion instead, i.e., everyone getting two times more than what they originally have.

This is what I have posted earlier: https://forum.nemcoin.com/index.php?topic=2531.msg6776#msg6776

Are they seriously considering this this late in the development phase?

I've just claimed my (partial) stake from the AE.  Everything went well untill I had to re-enter my private key to make sure it was the right one.  I re-entered it after saving to clipboard (and a text editor) and it said the private key was wrong which can't be true...  a) How can this be possible? b) What if the shit hits the fan and I can't claim my stake due to this fault (somewhere)?

(in worst case scenario I can always prove everything (with screenshots and everything) I just wrote to the person...human, who sends out the actual NEM.)

you mean you took the address sent it off with your stake and only then went back to copy the details and save them?

seriously?

I think he is saying he copied his details, but when it asks you to enter your PK to ensure you have the right info it said it was wrong.

"I've just claimed my (partial) stake from the AE.  Everything went well untill I had to re-enter my private key to make sure it was the right one"

"re-entered it after saving to clipboard"

by the sounds of it he created the data > redeemed his stake > saved data(copied to clipboard and text editor) > realised it was wrong > posted here.

Maybe. The day of redemption is going to be flooded in here with people not recieving coins I am sure of it. Just hope I did everything right and I am not one of those people.

As soon as phase 2 starts for btt people both btt and AE poeple will be able to check on the registration portal.
It will display the NXT-addresses we've received NEMStake from and the first 2 block of the NEM-address that is stored in our db.
If you have the priv key to that address then all is good and there is no need to worry.

PS: I'm only going to show the first 2 block because I think some people might not find it very nice to show the whole thing due to privacy concerns.

Is there a way to see our NEM address now?

When creating real account data, I noticed the private key is sometimes 64 characters and sometimes 66 characters. If it is 66 chars it always begins with "00".
I tested them by importing with the Add an Existing Account button and in all cases the address matches except the first character and the last seven characters.
Is this ok? Just want to make sure before sending off my NEMStake.

yes that is how it should be.. to be extra safe.. you can download the new beta release that is posted above your post and in that release there is a feature for checking that the private key you have saved actually creates the address that you have saved so you can make 100% you have the correct details.. best you do that before going further.. better safe than sorry.

So the Private key with the 00 is good or bad? My PK has a 00 beginning and I already sent oiff for my stake.
