481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 21, 2020, 02:34:47 PM
It will be always depending on the gambler on how he will see his situation when playing gambling, Addiction is a threat but if you control yourself and do some limitation I'm sure a gambler won't arrive at the stage that gambling is harmful to him.

I was an addict on gambling before and I can consider it as a threat because of the negative impacts that come to my life, but as of now, I am on the rehabilitation of stopping and controlling myself on playing gambling I can consider it fun when I play. Don't get me wrong, I play gambling by controlling my emotions and by limiting my wager on each session I play games.
This depends from person to person, and yes I actually agree with you about controlling your decisions while betting. Your decision may not be a threat for now but sooner or later it will be a big deal not only for you but also for your family if you have one. Well just like what they usually say "play for fun" and " bet what you can afford to lose".
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: February 21, 2020, 02:10:14 PM
Since we believe that there are people who become rich in gambling or they are making a living in gambling

Can you please share at least one person who made that, and please put some proof.

Playing a gamble didn't have a higher chance that you will certainly become rich, it's all about luck in the game. But after doing some research, I found out that there is really people who becomes rich in playing gamble. Bill Benter is one of those people. He uses his knowledge in mathematics to play count cards and black jack. For more info, go to this website. https://www.bestcasinosites.net/blog/richest-gamblers.php
Well that certainly tell us all. There are times that you are lucky while sometimes not. I don't have lots of friends who plays gambling but i am quiet sure that it is due to your luck or your own analysis(maybe sometimes it applies), and not due to someones guidance. As far as i know the higher the stakes the lesser the percentage of winning the prize poll.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran/US tension's effect on crypto and economy ? on: January 13, 2020, 02:59:36 PM
Iran is already excluded from the world economic order. I don't expect much surge. However, a rise for bitcoin may begin. Because bitcoin is a very easy tool to carry. Every announcement of the US has a direct impact on the market.
whatever situation the US experiences will be of global concern, so that it will more or less affect the economy. and we know that Iran stores a lot of oil content, so the tension between the two will at least have an impact on oil prices. and if this tension continues there will be many investors who will look for alternative investments, and maybe bitcoin is in it
It may or it may not affect, that depends upon what the current leaders will decide. The increasing of tension really affects different areas, most of it is about finance areas espescially there would be investors with different beliefs such as wanting to secure their monetary funds, while some wants to use it further in dealing arms and weapons. I guess having alternative ways of investment really is good, but as for my own view point it has the same concept from medieval ages. And we must also not forget between tensions in different countries, the most in demand supply are Food and Medication.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto mystery still revolves around Satoshi’s identity on: January 13, 2020, 02:10:09 PM
nowadays Satoshi's identity has turned into a source of income for different people! from these low quality website that keep creating clickbaits to the big scammers like CSW everyone is trying to make some money from it!
the worst part is that there has not been anything new for at least half a decade. everything is the repetition of all that has been rehashed a million times.
And there had been plenty of opportunistic people taking advantage of what has been established by Satoshi himself. I am no longer surprised nowadays that there are so many economic competitions regarding what's in for the time being about sources or ways of income with Bitcoin. Lots are being fooled why others laugh and earned just like when the first establishment of any other currencies and paper figures. Tsk tsk. People nowadays though they'll do anything just to earn.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make mining sustainable on: January 12, 2020, 04:31:34 PM
Electricity is the most important problem for making mining sustainable. Electricity consumption is already a general problem. Bitcoin mining needs to be done with renewable energy sources. Bitcoin production is also very expensive equipment.
Regardless of whether we mined or not, still the electricity consumption does have negative effects on different areas that is also why I agree with your opinion, and the excessive usage of electricity coupled with different machines and technology for mining it is much more of a headache than to reduce the pollution. Basically it would also result your idea into adapting renewable resource of energy which is up until now scientists keep researching ways to achieve it. For example is the nuclear source which is commonly heard, but the problem is that, it is like a double edge sword, which is if the government officially supports its usage and provides funding it is also way too risky and could also potentially harm the environment. In the end we could just only bare with it and keep on transcending and researching new ways which has  lesser harm with great benefits, but I think it is quiet impossible as of now. Correct me if I'm wrong.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: January 09, 2020, 04:26:08 PM
And we are now at $8K, what do you say people?

why are you giving bitcoin too much attention when it's down, don't you know that it's normal, just look at what is happening now, for sure if bitcoin will hit $10,000, people will be in FOMO again thinking the bull run has started, same old trends, that's why the market can easily get manipulated.

just observed and enjoy what you are seeing now, bitcoin is not over yet, it's gonna set a new high again, SOON>
I do know this thing and I am really not worried about the market fall because I know bitcoin has a good ability to again rise and make a good place in the market as it had in 2017. I know yet the price is low but in a few years, we will see it higher than before and right now it’s time to hold and wait. Bitcoin will soon rise higher than $10k in the market.
I agree with you that bitcoin is bound to grow even stronger. I just hope to collect as many coins as possible before bitcoin grows even bigger
As we can all notice, most investors or some of them easily panicks when they see the price falling. It is only natural to fear those fluctuations, but it is also not good ro be easily affected. We could also see that it is not below the ATL so its still fine, surely its time will come but not immediately.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about Bitcoin adoption on: January 06, 2020, 03:24:06 PM
we do not know the great people behind the development of bitcoin can make more than LN to be another solution, discussing the issue of mass adoption, it is actually easy if all the people in this forum introduce bitcoin en masse or expand it will be great, because there is no mass adoption without mass promotion, this is my open mind because it would not be possible for bitcoin to be famous today without any mass promotion
Very well said. I think when it comes to mass promotion it is best if the crypto team will be the one who promote the cryptocurrency in a mass promotion and also they must introduce it through ads not only in social medias but also  in televisions. They should also give proposals to each and every country's government regarding the legalization of the cryptocurrency and they also have to explain to them the essentials, the advantages and the benefits that we can get by using it.
some in my country often discuss bitcoin on television about technology news, I think maybe in other countries it may also often see on television, whether it's news broadcasts will usually discuss bitcoin and crypto currencies, I guarantee the government cannot regulate more about bitcoin ownership or cryptocurrency if the community adopts bitcoin extensively, mass promotions will certainly provide detailed information about bitcoin and crypto currencies, although not necessarily to outsiders in your neighborhood, everything can be started from your neighbors
It is obviously that it is very rare for those people to promote bitcoin under the television and it is because the government don't want it to do so it would be better if we will just do our own promotion in order for the masses to adapt the bitcoin with all their hearts and mind. It is so hard to guarantee that the government will be regulate bitcoin ownership because as like what you have been said, bitcoin is a detailed information of transaction do that the government don't want those kind of revealing so they are not agreeing about the bitcoin adaptation by the masses. But always remember that all of us can be a tool for the masses adapt the bitcoin by just simply introducing it to our family and loved ones.
Indeed it is quiet rare to see television advertisements about bitcoin although it is pretty popular. In my opinion maybe the government has trust issues regarding bitcoin and its public usage, maybe that is also why they are not officially promoting or advertising those ideas they had. On the other hand, its also a good idea for us to promote on our own way.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea untaxing Investor's Profits on: January 04, 2020, 11:06:15 AM
This is great news for South Korea. I wish all countries would have more liberal tax laws concerning cryptocurrencies. It would help grow this industry.
This would be a good spark for those aspirants who also eyeing to invest around crypto market. Taxation required information about individuals which leads the business to be more known by the government. If there's rules which allowing crypto investors not to be obliged paying for it then it will attract more supporters.
I've heard about this news and although some are not quiet familiar about investing in cryptocurrencies, its actually good for them and for the whole crypto economy. Imagine a country supporting crypto, it would improve the community by leaps and bounds.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Bought Bitcoin Each Week in 2019, You’d Be up 49% on: January 04, 2020, 06:52:30 AM
No one has banned investing in Bitcoin every week, the problem is that there is not always money to invest not only in Bitcoin, but in crypto in general.
I certainly agree with you. Not everyone has the luxury to spend everyday or everyweek purchasing bitcoins bit by bit. Well just try to imagine everybody keeps on buying everyday, for sure it makes the the prices keep going upward, don't you think? The big hurdle is money. Without it, it will be nothing but like window shopping.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why YouTube Bans Bitcoin &Crypto Videos? on: January 01, 2020, 11:45:58 AM
As per my opinion it really seems like they are banning cryptocurrency advertisements. I think they are only promoting some advertises which is more profitable for them, that is only my conclusion but I think its quiet accurate.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 will be a material year for crypto. What do you think? on: January 01, 2020, 07:35:30 AM
2019 was positive for bitcoin from both side prices and development. I really don't care about price that some people predicting about it will go million bla bla bla. More important is how bitcoin community expanding worldwide. Bitcoin fully decentralized currency and it's just depend on community. So when community will more stronger then we don't need to worry about prices. It will raise automatically. Also we have seen some development on last year on bitcoin like Lightning network, hope we will see more developments on this current year also. More Merchants adding bitcoin as a payment option and I believe it will increase more in 2020.

When more people could use bitcoin for real uses like buy goods etc then more new users will enter on it. And that's how 2020 would be a wonderful year for bitcoin users. I am expecting more countries will accept bitcoin legally on this year. Let's invite more newbies on bitcoin and build more strong community.
I think that is the exact mindset that should be spread thoroughly. So many predictions and chart readings so far many years ago, and some are accurate while some were not. I believe that what you've said is true and i support the idea of building the community to further spread the idea of what it is being discussed here.
492  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] Duterte halts lotto, other gaming schemes licensed and franchised by PCSO on: July 31, 2019, 01:23:23 PM
Back to operation ang lotto marami na namang matutuwa.
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Exchanges Are Coming? But It is OK? on: July 31, 2018, 02:41:32 AM
more competition, it would be better also service that will exist
the community can get more choices, it may be true, if the volume is still small, the effect on the market price of coins is not so great
but, everything will grow in time
Yes i think it would be great to see a competitive market and hopefully could increase the kinds of services we could choose from, but more importantly is the security of one exchanges we wpuld like to choose, or over all ots quality of service we can avail in an exchange.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: Silver is loosing ground due to rise of cryptocurrencies on: July 28, 2018, 03:11:46 AM
I don't think that Silver is losing to crypto right now. If this is the peak of bitcoin, then we can say yes, but crypto is also struggling as well so there's no correlation. Perhaps Silver price is down, but it not due to crypto and maybe silver investors are shifting their funds around to maybe Gold or other precious metals. Maybe this is just short term, as every class assets and market then we are aware of are currently down (stocks, crypto or even precious metals).
It is common that markets will gonup and down depending to what happen or the current events that can trigger the prices in the market, but i don't think that solid investments such as silver and gold are loosing because of crypto as of now but we could see that both of them are suffering at low price as of now.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: July 27, 2018, 07:34:25 AM
It is not a gamble site or whatsoever that can make you rich in a matter of minutes. There are things to consider when investing on Cryptocurrency:

1. Greediness is the downfall of the money you've invested.
2. Patience is a Virtue.
3. Lots of dedication and hard work will pay off.
4. Knowledge about the volatility of the market.
5. Experiences from your mistakes in the past will lead you on a great future.

And people did expect that there is such thing as easy money or you will be rich in an instant or overnight success. Honestly either which field you choose will apply those stated above and for sure it will take lots of time and effort to achieve what we called success.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: Success of an investment may not be true to all? on: July 24, 2018, 03:10:30 PM
Yes it's absolutely true, there are a lot of factors that can make an investment to succeed one of them is the knowledge of the investment, not all people got the same knowledge when they want to invest so the results can be different even the capital can be a factor determine the success of an investment, decision and knowledge are two of the most important thing to determine the success
There is also no balance if everyone wins with a single idea, just like someone told me before, in an investment, someone's win is also somebody's loss. It must be balance and maintain its equilibrium, but that doesn't totally mean you will fail until you die, it such that, it is a matter of time, patience and knowledge.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: What are your plans for the next 5 years in Finance? on: July 18, 2018, 05:33:20 AM
My plans are simple, that is to build more assets for the next 5 years in my life because i am not rich and to be rich, i need to establish a lot of sources of income for myself and for my future family so as early as i can, i will build a lot of assets that will become the key for me to become rich and be financially independent because of financial freedom.
Ideally that is also one of my long term plans, because no one can assure what will happen after the next few years, that is why as early as possible, i am also saving as much as i can in order to establish my future plans and make something that would make me thank what i had done today when i will be in the future.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you suppose will happen when BTC loses it's dominance? on: July 11, 2018, 02:35:21 AM
Dominance of bitcoin was quite higher today than before, it was stable to 40%.

Bitcoin is losing their price from last more than 6 months and thought of traders are still in the recovery of bitcoin but the price is still not recovering there is a lot of time is required to grow the price and provide profitable market again.
You better chill out and watch the market until the market becomes stable again and reaches it's ceiling. The price went to the bottom of $5,800 and aren't you happy enough that it went up again quickly?
Last April there's a quick pump for just an hour, it's no joke.
At least it is stable unlike before right? Although it is actually unpredictable, there is a slight chance also that it will steadily drop, but the chances of skyrocketting is also high so it makes it almost 70 percent that it will recover. Let us just watch and see it, and prepare ourselves to it.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone help me? on: July 10, 2018, 02:21:55 AM
I am interested to invest on a not well known coin and newly released, what are the factors I need to consider to take a look to know if this coin has a bright future?

Can you give an example of a altcoin that you think will have a good value in the future and why? please give your explanation.

Denarius is a promising project in which you can join. The current market-cap is around $2 million, and it has good future potential. You can set the medium term target at $10 and long term target at $50 or $100 per coin.
I should say yes it has a good long term potential and has a good future on it, but still there is no assurance to what will be its outcome. It would be also a risky point to invest as of now, since the market is really down, but sooner it will recover. Well just try to invest some and readnif you have time.
500  Other / Archival / Re: How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic? ✅ on: July 07, 2018, 03:30:53 AM
Bitcoin can provide a safer blockchain technology compare to the other existing cryptocurrency and that is the reason why bitcoin is such a great advantage for a country if they will use it and adopt it just like the Asian countries because it is the future of the world, the blockchain technology will play a big role in the world soon.
Definitely it is, but as of now it is not yet fully recognize by some countries, or should we say it hasn't any legal places yet from certain countries and still they are not openly accepted and its concept.
