482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 09, 2019, 03:06:50 PM
With sports betting as well other forms of gambling, we used to experience unexpected results. This way I've experienced several wins standing against the crowd. One of the match that always remembered is a women's tennis match where I selected the odd 10.1 after the first set got over. To my luck I won the bet and won $91 worth bitcoin.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My opinion about dumps caused by bounty participants. on: September 06, 2019, 01:43:32 PM
What's been allocated to bounties were very small in percentage when compared to the supply of the respective token. Another thing, even the participants weren't paid with the rewards once after the ICO sale or the promotion is over. This small percentage might make a small impact on the market value of the token. Dumps were mostly due to the improper development and funding to the project.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: September 06, 2019, 08:27:44 AM
People are loud about Bitcoin because it has become the center of attraction when it comes to cryptocurrencies. Most investors look at its trend to make market predictions and even gives clue as to when to buy and when to sell. Because of the pairing of BTC to almost every coin on the market, its rise and fall in prices affect the prices of the other coins on the market.
Bitcoin serves to be the center of attraction because it is valued big compared to the rest of the cryptocurrencies. The price matters a lot, because when it was worth a dollar very few gave importance. Another thing Most of the early holders just bought it on luck and not with a perfect prediction. Now people knew better about its growth and this makes them have price to be the priority.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis - US Open thread - Predictions on: September 06, 2019, 07:02:42 AM
I really want Dimitrov or Medvedev to win US open this year. It's gets really boring when Nadal,Federer and Jokovic win everything.I can't predict what will happen, because I'm not an expert in tennis, but I would bet on Medvedev.Tall tennis players are the future of tennis(unfortunately).
Tomorrow's semi final will give a conclusion on which player to reach the finals. From the previous games played I believe it's the chance for Dimitrov than Medvedev. As in the above quote the height of the player matters big in tennis, still this can't be the deciding factor to win the game.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Akon talks about bitcoin and his own coin on: September 06, 2019, 04:00:19 AM
So.. if I found the right website, Akon is creating his own coin, Akoin. From their website[1]: "AKOIN IS THE EXCLUSIVE CURRENCY OF THE AKOIN ECOSYSTEM". Great, another unnecessary coin. I'm not saying that Akon is a bad person, but if he really wanted to help, pretty much every use-case indicated on their website can already be done using BTC and ETH. I'm guessing that some people just proposed this idea to Akon and asked for permission to use his name. Pretty much the same with Manny Pacquiao's PAC token.

[1] https://www.akoin.io/
Agreed, already there were more coins based on personalities. Some even created by them as they're good at programming. There needs to be some use case that is unique to get good value to the project and the coin. Here the coin might get popularity as it is named based on his name, but when it comes to use case and growth it won't attract good investors choose it.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: September 06, 2019, 02:26:18 AM
Banks gave the financial infrastructure to an economy, following this we've travelled till date. Based on different monetary policies the functionalities differ between banks operating on different countries. If banking system haven't existed surely we all would've lacked growth.

Everytime everything can't be perfect. This way banking system too has got flaws. This can be rectified with the advancing technology. Some has got used to it while some are in the early days of adopting the new technology. So banking system overcoming by bitcoin isn't gonna happen.

Simple thing, bitcoin gave the base for Cryptocurrency. There were more advancing technology used on different altcoins and some even promote themselves as competence to bitcoin. Will this get the altcoin the place of bitcoin. Same is the scenario with banks and bitcoin.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why exchanges most interested to launch IEO? on: September 05, 2019, 09:02:55 PM
IEOs were launched pairing with the exchange backed native token. This will help in boosting of the native tokens market, when more and more IEO gets launched the growth of the exchange backed token will be higher than the IEO. Also out of the IEO sale the exchanges will have a share. The respective exchange that launch will be giving trade support. In this manner in lot of ways exchanges gets benefited which seems to be the reason for exchanges showing much interest on IEOs.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where To Spen Bitcoins? Full List. on: September 05, 2019, 08:22:45 PM
Good to see a detailed list of leading global companies that have begun to accept bitcoin. Going through the list one can now live spending only bitcoin, if he resides in the western part of the world. The term cryptocurrency is very new to many countries, hope these increasing acceptance from global firms will help in reaching all levels of people around the world and start using it for good.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 05, 2019, 07:51:22 PM
Simple thumb rule is gambling is as long as you are betting the chances of leaving to home with money is less so no strategies will work it includes martingale as well.
Agreed, at times we might apply any of the strategy and we experience a coincidence. Upon the same we cannot come to an conclusion that strategy works good. This is completely wrong, and I believe gambling is all about luck and a small portion depends on our self research to know tricks of playing. Beyond this very few returns home with a bag full of winning amount... Lol Cheesy
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 05, 2019, 07:19:49 PM
People might be making money with cricket betting but T20 is not that easy to predict and it is the hardest to predict if you compare Test matches and ODI as one player could change the match in an instant. People from Asian countries might be discussing India and Pakistan matches but outside the sub continent people will be talking about England and Australia  Tongue.

The shorter the game, the greater will be the chances of an upset. Most of the rookie teams are not capable of performing consistently over a long duration. But in a T20 game, they have greater chances as a single innings by a good batsmen or a single spell by a bowler can change the course of the game. BTW, now everyone in India is talking about the Ashes. In my opinion, the maximum TV revenue for Ashes will come from India, and not from either England or Australia.
That might be true, because compared to the fan base for cricket in India what England or Australia has got is very low. This itself confirms that the TV revenue is more from India. Not only in cricket, but due to the increased population India is a big consumer market for most of the global businesses.
492  Economy / Services / Re: Betting Arbitrage on: September 05, 2019, 06:55:33 PM
This is a pure gambling signal service. The term arbitrage is an attraction. Somehow op has planned to make a living out providing signals on sports betting. These days people are much aware about this signal services and they are keen in making their own decisions as they're risking their own money. He has mentioned this to be risk less earning which is quite attractive and misleading.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: September 04, 2019, 08:13:19 PM
Winning big on the dice games will depend on how much money we use to bets. I don't think that we can get a big win in a long time because I guess dice game was design to get a short time of winning and if we are lucky to win the money, it is better to leave out the games and don't come back for a while. If you choose to continue with the win money, I guess you will lose in the next round because the house will take their money back from the gamblers.
So you must take the money and don't be late to withdraw and never think to play again on that day because you never know what next that will happen.
Putting in a huge amount of money into dice at a time is not advisable. You should always put in what you can bear if you lose as gambling is more of losing than winning. I have been gambling for time to time and I am careful of putting in big money because it is sometimes very difficult to play dice in five consecutive times without losing.

I cannot see the chance for winning in the gambling than the loss that will I get later. That is why if I want to gamble, I always prepare some money to be used because I don't want to see a big lose more than I can accept. So far I gamble, my chance to win will small, but I see that some of my friends can win on the dice game. Sometimes, I ask them what I need to do win, and the answer is you don't need anything, just play, enjoy the game, let the luck will come to you.

Well, I follow the advice, and right now, I don't feel that to win in the gambling will be important for me because I know that it is very very difficult to win the money in the gambling area. I prefer to enjoy the game, especially the dice game, to kill my time.
If you are not sure about winning about gaming then try to remove all your mistakes and never give up I know hurdles come but miner lose can give you big lesson just try to learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat any mistakes twice I hope next time you will invest high and will win certainly at the end.
I've tried tried and lost everything. Finally today I lost $900 in dice. This is completely out of my control. When I roll and find it fail I go away from the game. My mind doesn't know what to do next. I keep increasing the bet value to get back the loss. Finally at some point my mind says to go with maximum bet amount. This way even after learning I was out of control.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: September 04, 2019, 07:45:21 PM
Now it’s time for trading , if you can, and holding. I don’t see any interesting campaigns to earn it.
Everyone keeps on trying to earn something in terms f bitcoin. I've been into the forum years back, slowly learned different ways of earning bitcoin. Slowly stepped into trading, and I found it profitable. Same needs patience and time period to get back profit out of investment. My mind looked for immediate earning. I went into gambling and my life is upside down, but I still keep on fighting to lead my life peacefully.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First dental clinic in Budapest to accept bitcoin on: September 04, 2019, 07:00:47 PM
The adaptation of cryptocurrency is widely spreading across all over the world and even professionals do accept cryptocurrency nowadays for their professional fees. At first, it was just being used in a restaurant or cafe but now it is starting to gain the attention of the professional worker.

I hope there would be a doctor who would accept a cryptocurrency in the future just like the dentist in Budapest.
Yes, more and more professional people are making themselves good into the cryptocurrency understanding the people's needs. If they're not into advancement it might lower the clinic's accessibility. This way more small networks and chained stores have begun to accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Same time there is also attacks on these medical systems, recently 400 dental clinic data was breached and ransom of $50000 was demanded. Both good and bad is there, and we need to go with the right ones.
496  Other / Off-topic / Re: Danger!! on: September 04, 2019, 05:58:51 PM
What Op has stated is truth, myself never realized the value of money. Through gambling I lost all my funds, now I was in almost $5000 debt. If I've kept the fund that I lost through gambling I could've spend at least few years peacefully. Now every minute I need to run for the next days food. Now it's too late for me to understand the mistake that money is not everything.
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Now the Perfect Time to Buy Bitcoin? on: September 03, 2019, 01:31:08 PM
The answer to OP is Yes  Cool
How will it not be yes when it is bitcoin, if it was other altcoins, I am sure that your answer would have been capital NO lol. Well, you are right, for now that bitcoin is still not gone too far in its price increase, I think we can buy and hold the coin now, while we wait for the price to grow. Bitcoin has a very wide future, and I believe that soon, the market will go back to its uptrend with a very strong momentum.

I can't say for sure how much bitcoin will be climbing to this year after these correction is over, but I know that we may be retesting the last $13800 or $14000 this year had before we continue further on the bull run next year, next year Is going to be another good year that we should all prepare for, and I think whatever profit we will make next year needs to be decide now through our purchase now.

Even with the top 10 altcoins it would be YES.
But with altcoins you need an exit strategy and your returns will likely be less.
With Bitcoin a good old fashion HODL will suffice.

P.S. I believe the top 10 would be considered "stablecoins"  Huh
With altcoins it's like gamble, we should have the mind to risk. The top listed altcoins show signs of growth, but that too is low compared to the growth of bitcoin. The dominance level stands strong above 70% with the volume increasing regularly. This will continue and we cannot see much of growth with altcoins. Considering the same, it is good to buy bitcoin, but the buying points were missed. Buying should have been done few months back if the purpose is holding.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Good ICOs for Investment on: September 03, 2019, 12:48:05 PM
Bitcoin is best investment now by my opinion
ICO are very much dead
ICO has trouble to raise money and find liquidity after token release
I am afraid that ico investing is way of  losing money
Agreed, I too have encountered the same with ico's. Same time I've a belief that everything gets running on a cyclic process. With this now ico's have lost the importance, maybe once again an year similar to 2017 could come. Cryptocurrency market is completely out of our predictions, any form of changes will happen within a very short time.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 03, 2019, 09:37:10 AM
Anyway, India won the match and I don't want to complain too much about Kohli's decision. But he should be more careful in the future. Throughout the series, Indians treated the WI like some club side. It is partially true, as a West Indies team without players such as Dre Russell, Kieron Pollard and Chris Gayle is even worse than an associate side such as the Netherlands. Kemar Roach was the sole international quality player in the entire XI. When they give chances to Rahkeem Cornwall and Shamarh Brooks, you know there is something wrong with the team.

See even Indian cricket has faced many challenges like this before when the team don't have a proper batsman in the past. It doesn't mean that WI is not strong, International games will always have a proper selection team behind every cricket nation. Some time, every country will face this type of challenges so we shouldn't blame WI.
By the time we also need to be clear about the support the West Indies team have got from their own board. From my view they've got big players, but the board and players have some misunderstanding which has gone into controversy several times. This will surely cause some drawback while the player selection is done.

South Korea’s Kakao May List Its Klay Token on Chinese Exchange

https://cointelegraph.com/news/south-koreas-kakao-may-list-its-klay-token-on-chinese-exchange

South Korean internet giant Kakao is reportedly planning to list its cryptocurrency Klay on a Chinese crypto exchange and one local exchange.
The key companies that are associated with the internet services have the ability to make big changes in the market. Upon this I believe Kakao will make big change through its application as well as its native token. More companies have begun to develop applications as default. Recently Samsung too gave erc20 wallet as default with a premium mobile. That too caused some market changes.
