Eh, for the HODLer, it's not a big deal. If it's still fucked up in the morning I'll swing by the ATM and drop some worthless money in.

For that reason, i thank god i'm still working. BTFD!

Dumping the whole space into years long despair oblivion could work for a while.

Bro, you seem to be getting more and more morose every day.

I realize you've had health issues lately but for your own good, I think you should try to foster more positivity.

I stumbled on this PDF I downloaded months ago and started reading it. I think it might have been from a link here in the WO.

Dude thinks a lot like me. Give it a try.

http://www.lequydonhanoi.edu.vn/upload_images/S%C3%A1ch%20ngo%E1%BA%A1i%20ng%E1%BB%AF/Rich%20Dad%20Poor%20Dad.pdf

WOW!  Pretty soon after Jimbo posted this,  the author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" weighs in with his view on Bitcoin.

I wonder if he's a member of this forum too?

looks like I picked the wrong day to quit hitting my thumb with a hammer

Don't try to make too many changes at once; you don't end up with a drinking problem.

4805  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ASIC Hosting on: August 13, 2018, 01:42:33 AM
Hi everyone,

I have some flat-rate hosting options available if you are interested.

- Cooling
- Quality power
- Stable network
- You will have access to your miners via Awesome Miner

- $125/month for S9
- $40/ month for X3
- $75/ month for L3++
- $25/ month for Z9 Mini

I have a limited amount of room, if you are interested send me a PM sooner than later.

https://ibb.co/bOmnD9

https://ibb.co/h6R9RU

The S9 will only generate about $3.50 per day and you charge $4.16 per day.  That's a net of $0.66 in the red for your customer.  I realize you are selling space and maintenance as well but it wouldn't it be better for the customer to simply shelve the S9 and purchase $125 worth of Bitcoin?

(They should be Ferraris. Much more impressive car than the Lambo)

Unless it is a Huracan Performante or Aventador SVJ that has just taken the nurburgring record, balls of steel:

I bought a Lambo and I am not in the Bcash camp Wink

Come on man!  It hasn't even moved since that last time you showed us.  You're still paying for it, aren't you!

edit: <---  see what I mean?

edit2:  I just realized I'm more jealous of your garage.  Nice!

I've often wondered what the hodlers use to purchase these luxury cars?  If you're hodlin, wouldn't you still be driving a 1998 Ford Crown Vic P71?!  I must be doing it wrong.  Perhaps they are leveraging their ruggedly-handsome, good looks?

You're only supposed to hodl until the top. We did it wrongly.

Then we'll start again and learn from our mistakes.  What's a good exit point this time?

Don't eat breakfast.  Do your exercise in the morning.
Consume most of your food close to bed time.  It doesn't have to be junk food, eat meat, veggies and some starch (potatoes or pasta) and fruit but consume more calories that what you burned that day.
Pro tip: Drink lots of beer because the alcohol increases cortisol levels in the blood and the body responds by storing fat around your mid section.

You'll be looking like a Sumo wrestler in no time.

Is it not dangerous to eat when you want to sleep? owh sorry, but I don't consume alcohol . But thanks your tips, if not dangerous to eat when want to sleep i will try

Friends of mine usually eat late at night and they're still alive.  Why would it not be safe?
Also, you can raise your cortisol levels in other ways.

Take heed r0ach.  A silver shirt may be anti-microbial but it probably wont stop a beating.

So do you guys think this thread is becoming more relevant? Cheesy

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2730822.msg27951782#msg27951782

I'm not liking the new crop of folks that came in this past year. They don't really know anything about Bitcoin (Satoshi? Is that some sort of seafood?). They just want to see the price go up. Maybe the government can pass a law to make the price go up. That's all that matters.

I hope the price crashes to the point that they all sell the bottom and never come back until they're paying for their bread after waiting in the bread line with bitcoins.

I'm 100% behind this statement!

If by 'Tame' he meant 'Manipulate the living shit out of' then maybe...

4815  Other / Meta / Re: Why aren't obvious scammers banned? on: August 08, 2018, 03:55:41 PM
Those are all good points but I would like to rebut:

The censorship "can of worms" has already been opened by allowing locked/self-moderated sales threads to proliferate.

If mods cannot remove scammers' threads because it would appear as censorship, why is it that scammers can create locked/self-moderated threads to sell their scams?  That is censorship since in this case, the most direct feedback mechanism has been disabled for all other users.  Using this tactic, the OP is now able to utilize sock puppets which can post direct feedback in this otherwise locked thread in order to make himself appear legitimate.  Other members are left with secondary avenues to sound an alarm such as the trust system (which is also unmoderated and rather unreliable) or perhaps the scam accusations thread.  These methods are not nearly as effective as the direct method of posting within the alleged scammer's thread.  You've in effect allowed the OP to create a barrier around the offending activity while having free speech zones miles awaymetaphorically speaking from the potential scam activity.

 Case in point -

Skeptical One has this locked thread in which they sell gift cards which may or may not be legitimate.  Within this locked thread, a couple of newbie members, using names to make them appear as forum moderators even, have somehow posted direct feedback vouching for Skeptical One's wares.  I use the secondary methods available to me to alert potential victims by tagging the OP and their sock puppets but it's clearly not effective as evidenced by the positive feedback I am given by Skeptical One who is obviously emboldened by the lack of moderation as well as his ability to easily censor naysayers as witnessed in the PM he also sent to me:

I'm not asking to ban anyone, I'm simply saying that the playing field needs to be leveled to allow for direct and open discussion.  Censorship is a reality on this forum but it is skewed in favour of the scammers.

Bitcoin fundamentals are still in the wind.
Undecided futures have provided deranged thinking.
Up is down and down is up.
What does that mean? Are we going to go up or down?
Swings like you never seen before , buckle up
Those swings you mentioned seem to be starting.

The more the monsters run, the more you will see
Monsters are very rich, very scared.

Some dont even know what is about to happen

Is the flat earth thread an alternate source that speaks the truth?

Speaks volumes

If we assume the earth is a sphere then it has a volume of 4/3πr3 then a flat earth speaks more to a diminishing volume and depending on exactly how flat, no volume at all!

4818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 07, 2018, 03:24:32 PM
I think the waves will continue until maybe November of December... then is will break UP.

I like this graph and it fits my very general view of 2018 of sideways sideways and some more of that range tracking.   Alot of drama as always, if this was a rollercoaster someone would lose their lunch despite that velocity comes back to zero as long term trumps short term but mostly we are consolidating and waiting for that breakout most likely.  Its a tug of war

First it was a need to wait for 6 months, then 18 months, now it is looking like have to wait nearly 4 years for the next BTC rocket.....

sucx to be a bull...   Cry Cry

I guess we wait until people give up waiting then we can all decide at that point on consensus what happens.    Its a game of musical chairs and everyone is looking at someone else to see what they do.  In the past thats taken a fair while and probably we roll over the top of some significant changes like the halvening event a couple years back but I think also theres other events to bump us out of the rut in the road and Dollar can alter the landscape in its direction, theres alot of inertia.

I guess we are out of the downward channel but also this could be judged on a daily bar and requires close to confirm.   ie. its a bit slow
I see range 7400 - 8 day momentum to 6900, previous channel confirmation top  or as said simply we stick at 7k till it develops

once you realize that all politicians are cheats and liars, you will stop taking sides.

Politicians dont determine a countries fate they merely represent elements.  Biggest mistake is to believe they can alter the tides, like the tale of King canute.

...but Canute didn't believe he could calm the waves and history of those times is unreliable at best.  History of these times is well recorded and documented; possibly even permanently.  Even with that, politicians still can't stop themselves from lying and every time they do, it gets easier for them to reconcile.

Too bad we never saw a really good dirt on Hillary. Yeah, we saw some dirt, but...

You mean like her campaign manager laundering money, or her offspring conspiring with Russian spies or her sleeping with porn stars?  That sort of dirt ?

For certain purposes it's necessary to determine the logical cross-bearings of the concepts which we take for granted. But honestly, is there a single not obvious thing in here. You really thought I needed a reintroduction to basic financial literacy by way of cringe-y homespun wisdoms?

Now I'm even more morose!

Aww, don't go down that road. It's closed anyway.

You do find pics of some rather fetching looking ladies, V8.
'

has to be former 'pole dancer' hopefully the picture was taken by her 'bitcoin sugar daddy'

(she'd cheat on me all over the place...not sure I'd care...quite the arm candy this one) Smiley

alas, not enough BTC or BTC does not have enough price yet....grrrrrrr.......

Just buy the shades - they're on sale - 50% off.  You put those on any woman and she's gonna look just like this one... I mean that's how it works right?
