4801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2020, 07:11:55 PM
They could easily get rid of the 3 o clock blackout if they wanted or just stop showing games at that time to bypass the restriction. We know from other leagues around the world that it doesn't effect ticket sales. La Liga has all their games at different times so you can watch them all if you wanted and they're not financially hit. The PL could easily make an argument that millions are lost by not showing them. With the billions in extra revenue that showing all the games brought in you could give more to the teams that was affected if any.
But probably problem is FA. They simply don't want to lift blackout. It doesn't affect ticket sales in EPL, because stadiums are full, no matter game is on TV or no. But I remember reading that it may have negative impact for lower division clubs. Some people may prefer watching EPL on TV, instead of supporting their local team at stadium. But IMO, this rule is so outdated and from other top leagues we can see that it doesn't have significant impact.

Folks, it's time to finally sign in to your Superbru accounts and leave predictions. Less than 48 hours until return of EPL.

Some changes to UFC sports I think are already on other platforms and there are many bets for each UFC match so I don't think Freebitcoin is the right place.

Freebitcoin already provides dice and roll bets that have even provided huge rewards in each of its tournaments up to the biggest prize, of course this will make many interested here and take part in freebitcoin bets.
So, if other gambling websites offering UFC bets, it's a reason for Freebitco.in not to add it? Freebitco.in now offering EPL and La Liga bets, but all other gambling platforms have it, maybe Freebitco.in should remove it Smiley?
I don't remember, maybe they had UFC bets in past, but I'm sure UFC bets, at least major events would get big interest on Freebitco.in.
4803  Other / Meta / Re: Do bounty managers deserve an award in the form of merit ? on: June 14, 2020, 07:32:54 PM
You can use merits in whatever way you want, as long you're not abusing system by selling merits, giving to your alts or sth. From my point of view, giving merits to bounty manager isn't good practice. For me it looks like ass licking. You say it's sign of appreciation, but bounty management is their job and they already get paid for it. IMO, there is better ways to spend merits.
4804  Other / Meta / Re: Happy Birthday theymos on: June 14, 2020, 07:23:27 PM
It's still 14th June in my timezone and it's probably not very good to congratulate in advance, but anyway:
Happy Birthday, theymos! Have fun!
4805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 14, 2020, 07:18:49 PM
@tomahawk9, both Barca and Real fans were concerned to see in what condition after quarantine teams will return. Now we can relax a bit, because both teams looks solid. Offcourse, opponents weren't most difficult. And Atletico is back as usual, nothing has changed in these months. Actually, there is no big surprises in this round so far, probably Valencia draw with Levante is biggest upset so far.
I'm so glad that we're gonna have La Liga action every single day next week!  Smiley
And with EPL return next week, it will be a bit strange to watch so much football every day Smiley.
4806  Other / Meta / Re: Could we have a standard to announce open spots in signature campaigns? on: June 14, 2020, 03:28:16 PM
But now I don't know good alternative to replace it.
It's enough to say that it's FULL. The reason why it's full doesn't matter.
Exactly. I don't know why, but I didn't thought about this word at all. I had word CLOSED in my mind, but it would be wrong to use it, because it's just for campaignswhich already ended.
4807  Other / Meta / Re: Could we have a standard to announce open spots in signature campaigns? on: June 13, 2020, 11:49:41 PM
I think current situation is fine more or less. There is quite many active campaign managers and every has his own methods how to manage campaign. And most are doing their job well. I think it's more users problem that they are lazy to check what rank campaign is looking for before applying. If they can't do even such small tasks, I don't think they can be eligible for campaign.
Though, I agree with @Lucius, abbrevation CFNP may look confusing because it's not widely used outside forum and it have multiple meanings. I remember that I also had to look for explanation in Overview of Signature campaigns to find what it means. But now I don't know good alternative to replace it.
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 13, 2020, 10:14:41 PM
It's such great feeling to watch my team playing after very long time. And it's great to see that Barca returned in good condition. Easy win against Malorca 4:0, Messi goal + assist, return of Saurez and first goal of Braithwaite in Barcelona. What could be better? Madrid dropping points on Sunday? Why not, lol.
4809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: June 13, 2020, 07:23:39 PM
They should just do their own streaming service. You can either pay for the games you want or pay a subscription fee and watch everything. They'll probably do it eventually but it's annoying it isn't sooner rather than later.

THIS.

I wonder why they haven't thought about it. Think about it, if they charge even 1 pound a game per season that's what, at least 45-50 per person who watches the stream (I'd happily pay two times that per season). You know most big clubs have millions of fans abroad. Forget the stupid TV money and earn direct, earn more. The TV ppl will come crawling back.

Oh, they'll have thought about it. I'm sure they'll discussed it quite a bit, but it's huge leap to do, especially in the UK. They'll basically be severing ties with Sky who have been a huge part of their revenues since the PL started and once they get rid of Sky there'll be no going back. Sky losing the PL broadcasting rights would be devastating to them. It might even kill Sky sports as we know it. It's only a matter of time before the PL does some sort of streaming service in the UK through. They do it in some foreign markets. I actually think they'd make much more money because a lot of people get rid of Sky because they don't want to pay £40-80 a month for all sports when all they watch is football. Most football fans would happily pay £15-30 a month direct to the PL for all the games. As I said before, they could offer plenty of packages. A monthly subscription for all the games, a pay per view just for the games you're interested in, or team packages where you just get all the games of the team you support. They could offer on demand steaming of classic games and other programs they've created.
Something similar like NBA League Pass would be great with various subscription plans like month, yearly or where you can pick your own team and pay just to watch their games. But I doubt that such is going to happen in upcoming few seasons. Current broadcast contracts doesn't allow it. And things like 3 PM  blackouts makes things even more complicated. I remember when F1 launched their own streaming service and UK is one of few countries where it's nto available just because of contract with Sky.

And I think the fewer number of races is good for my bet with LTU_btc:  Leclerc (him) vs Verstappen (me), who finishes the season with more points.
Oh, after this very long quarantine, I completely forgot about our bet. Yeah, less races probably open more room for surprises. Maybe even more interesting fight for title is possible.

F1 cancelled 3 more races - Azerbaijan, Singapore and Japanese. If Azerbaijan and Singapore was somewhat expected, because city tracks requires long preparation, it's sad news that there will be no Suzuka track this year.
Also, Ross Brawn said that additional tracks is considered like Mugello, Imola, Portimao, and Hockenheim.
4811  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is setescrow.com legit? on: June 11, 2020, 10:56:35 PM
Using unknown escrow service is almost same like don't use escrow at all. So, escrow is one of last places where I would want to risk with my money.
Seems that this service is quite old already, but not popular at all and there isn't many reviews about them. I can't say that they aren't legit or something, but personally I wouldn't use them, especially when there is many better alternatives in the market
4812  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why it’s important to avoid telling everyone about your crypto holdings on: June 11, 2020, 10:43:19 PM
When I tell my clicks, buds or fellow students about bitcoin, they start asking how much of bitcoin have I bagged, how much is the fiat equivalents of my bitcoin, what I do is always use an imaginary person to explain to them -for example Mr x transferred x bitcoin to......- I take not easy steps when securing my self, an no one should,

Don't explain to people directly using your wallet as a process of -transaction- don't illustrate with anything private
Yeah, same. Many of my friends, family members know that I have Bitcoin and they often ask how much I have, how much it's worth in fiat. But obviously, I don't it them. I'm not too much concerned about my security, but it's just some common sense. It's same that they don't need to know how much money I have in my bank account.
But I don't agree that's something wrong to show in public that you use Bitcoins. I doubt that having Bitcoin logo on your car or T-shirt can make troubles for you. If you have Bitcoins, it doesn't neccessary means that you're rich. While I think it's more risky to show that you have lot of money in fiat.
And by the way, in my early days on forum, I posted in topics such as "how many BTC you have" many times and I didn't even thought that's something wrong Cheesy.
4813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 11, 2020, 10:11:49 PM
So, what's your first impressions about return of La Liga? I'm a bit disappointed about Betis performance, they almost didn't had dangerous moments during whole game. Probably it answers question why they are in middle of table.
BTW, what do you think about fan sounds from FIFA20 during the game? First I was sceptical about such idea, but actually it doesn't sounds bad.
Two more games on Friday - Granada - Getafe. Granada is still trying to fight for Europa league spots, while Getafe chasing Top 4 and spot in Champions league. I think I'm going to risk and go with Getafe at @2.45.
And Valencia - Levante - derby is always interesting, though Valencia are obvious favorites.
4814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 10, 2020, 10:35:01 PM
I don’t think much chance of Atletico getting to the final, they were very lucky to get past Liverpool in the last round. I think they’ll get taken apart by the next big team they play in the CL.
I wouldn't say that they were lucky against Liverpool. Simeone's tactics just worked very well against them. Though, I don't see them among favorites to win CL.
On the other hand, it's likely that 1/4 and 1/2 finals will be just one game, what opens more room for surprises.

How long have you been operating to achieve it? I am also curious about how you put your referral link  Cheesy
I've been working for few years in order to get referrals on Freebitco.in and other faucet websites. Now I'm not doing it actively , but I still get some new referrals who earn me some BTC. You can check my website, link is under my username.
4816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: June 10, 2020, 10:18:01 PM
But i'm more intested to know what you guys think about the one-match format, it practically means that each game will be a Final.
I'm Barca fan and despite our painful experience in recent years, I don't like such one-match format. It gives some advantage to weaker teams and luck factor is bigger. I may be wrong, but I'm not sure that "weight" and value of 2020 Champions league trophy will be same as all other previous trophies. Even after 10 years we will probably remember that it was pandemic season where games were held in neutral grounds behind closed doors, what makes big difference.
4817  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why people afraid so much about the confirmation's duration? on: June 09, 2020, 10:59:08 PM
I can't say that I'm afraid, but yeah, after I send BTC to someone, I always check it's status on blockchain and I reload website multiple times until I see that it got confirmations. As said by users above, there is multiple things when something just will get wrong and transaction will not confirmations after all. Only when I see that it got confirmation I can feel 100% relaxed.
But it's just about Bitcoin. I have similar feeling when make bank transfer. When I make it, I usually have doubts, did I made everything as I had to do. And only when I know that my recipient got money, I can keep calm.
4818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 09, 2020, 10:36:49 PM
Sevilla is playing home with Betis, it is a city derby, and have put Sevilla on my parlay, to celebrate La liga restart, although do not expect easy one for them, do think that they could win first after restart, to ensure their position three
hope that La liga will finish in good manner, without corona outbreak, and that VCF will be among top four for CL qualification
For me derby of Sevilla is probably most tricky game after lockdown. Sevilla is favorites, but Betis is very unpredictable team. They can play draw against Mallorca and Leganes, but they won against Real before lockdown, lost to Barca just 2:3.
It will be very difficult for Valencia. Gap between 3 and 7 places is small, so it will be very interesting to watch how it will end. Even Atletico may end without CL spot. And maybe Getafe can qualify to it through Europa league if they will win it. Looking how they playing this season, I think it's possible.

I've only reffered 168 people so far (~0.00664326 BTCTC)
Wow  Shocked it's really great! I wonder how you can get so many referrals? Did you promote it a lot on social media platforms? You are not even a member of their signature campaign but you have twice my referrals. I am sure a lot of people are jealous of you, including me  Cheesy Not many people achieve your figure  Cool I hope I can achieve your figure soon  Cheesy
168 isn't that much. If you will look at Freebitco.in stats page, you'll see users having 50k or even 100k referrals and earned 16, 22 or even 27 Bitcoins. Interesting where they advertised their affiliate links.
I have few hundreds referrals and they earned me really nice amount of BTC. I promoted my ref link on my personal website, but it's really mot easy to get big number of referrals. Never tried to promote my link in signature, interesting how many referrals you can get in this way.

Love that you guys are sharing illegal streaming sites to help each other watch the games. We’re hack next week boys, it’s been a long wait.

Well, I don't mind paying even considerable amount of money if somebody will give me top quality legal service which has rights to all the games from Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and all the tennis tournaments out there. Problem is nobody has anything even close to that in my corner of the world.
Yeah, actually I have local pay TV subscription, but it doesn't satisfy my needs. I get just maybe 6 EPL games per round, limited number of La Liga or Serie. I can't even watch F1 in legal way in my country. So, I have to search for alternatives. I watch lot of football and I want to pick which game to watch, instead of watching what they show on TV.
Now I'm looking on schedule of upcoming games and it seems that I will stay in front of TV in upcoming few weeks all day long. It will be strange, because it's summer after all, not dark ugly winter Cheesy.
