I think if the plays are going to be hidden that Betcoinsports should post the plays just after the games begin. It's not that tough to do. We all PM our plays to Betcoinsports and then they make a post with all the plays.

Most players selected all the favorites for the round of 16. Again after the quarter finals which end Saturday July 5, all selections must be done prior to start of the game and posted. I agree with the group to post the picks prior to the games on the forum for the very most in transparency. The players on twitter and facebook must post their picks on a publicly accessible account. It appears that both players do have accessible plays. Not 100% sure about the Facebook. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to alert everybody to post these in advance, however the semifinals, runner up game and finals will all be posted in advance. Wow. I was curious what the "big" announcement could be but this was way bigger than I expected.
I've been checking for months hoping that WPN would allow bitcoin deposits for US players. That would have been great enough, but what you have done is even better than just bitcoin deposits and withdrawals, because it converts for each individual tournament as you register.
I just tried it out with a double or nothing sit and go and it worked perfectly. The conversion was at the current market rate and the prize was instantly credited back to my account as bitcoin.
This is also a good thing for bitcoin in general. It should bring over regular WPN players from other skins because it makes depositing and withdrawing so much easier/faster/cheaper. Great job.

I have one question, the amounts of prizes and fees to enter advertised on the tourneys and sit and go for example "$1,000 GTD holdem" it means 1000 usd? or 1000 mBTC?.. i dont catch it since the wallet manages mBTCs but the sit and go has the $ sign.

The $1,000 (1.5 btc) GTD holdem tourney has a buyin of $5.00 / 7.8 Betcoin chips (0.0078 btc) + 0.5 / 0.78 Betcoin chips (0.00078 btc) When you click register a screen shows the dollar buy in fee, the total chips in your account and then the chips needed to cover the buy in fee to enter the tournament. You are buying into the tournament with btc for the exact dollar amount at the current exchange rate in real time. You play the tournament in chips and then your winnings are instantly converted back to btc at the current exchange rate and added to your account. You do not even need an email, however we highly suggest including an email in the event of a forgotten or lost password, if there is no email then we cannot reset an account because we have no idea who it belongs too. There is no rake in the tournaments, there is only the tournament fee and you can see from these tournaments that the fee is very low compared to the GTD prize pool. For example the 150 BTC ($100,000) tourney has a buyin of 0.313 btc + 0.023 btc ($200+15). Almost all withdrawals are also paid out instantly in btc or ltc at the player's request. |

This is very, very interesting what you guys have done. I see you merged betcoin with winning network but the tourneys that were unique to betcoin stays on betcoin? is that whats happening?
This is exactly what is happening. Also, the exchange rate is right online with current market rates and is updated instantly. Additionally, you are only purchasing chips for bitcoin in the dollar amount. Meaning you are buying $10 worth of chips for 0.015 btc or 15 chips. This is the only conversion that takes place and again it's in real time, therefore if you were playing with dollars or btc at that moment it would be worth the same amount. |

When you exit the website, auto log you out of any tables that you are sitting in? Instead of going through and closing each one individually? yes can u have it say do i want to leave all tables when i exit, instead of you cant exit while sitting at tables. is that possible? Someone from Facebook or Twitter will win, also known as a Betcoinsports employee, that picks all winners after the games are over. The only problem with that statement is the players on Facebook and Twitter have all posted their picks prior to the games. Their profiles are public and you can message them directly anytime. It has been the players on BitcoinTalk through forums and pm's that have complained about posting picks prior to the games, which we certainly understand. BetcoinSports.com employees are not permitted to play in our contests. Also, why didn't you enter the contest? With the time you have spent reading through and commenting on the thread you could have won some good btc! I bet at Betcoinsports but forgot about the contest. I have a lot of losers and missed games so I know that I don't have a chance. You still shouldn't hide plays until the last game. No contest hides plays this early except for you. Some hide the plays but it's the last day only. Contests are all rigged when the plays are hidden. It's just how these things roll. We appreciate you playing with us. We show the plays and players are upset and we hide the players and players are upset. Players are always going to be upset, however we will be awarding the prize and we look forward to it. |

I guess as long as Betcoin verifies both sites, it should be ok. IMO in theory the best way would be this: make a "secret" word + your pick of the winner, then make a SHA512 of it. Post this before the game. After the game you post the "secret" so people can verify your pick, without knowing your pick in advance. Provably fair World Cup promotion  But this might be too hard for some (actually there are online SHA512 generators, so this is really easy.) For example: Post in advance:

I like this site. I believe it will surpass seals. Here are some suggestions however: The alert sounds are very annoying. Not really pleasant to the ear. I will try to find some better sounds myself but it would be good if it was pleasant to the ear and not so slot machine like.
Also, it would be good to seperate casino from poker. At least don't put the 21 black jack sign right there in the poker room. That is kind of like saying please go on tilt and try our black jack and get destroyed...
I think if you guys make it a premium poker room, you might monopolize this thing. People say poker is dead, but there are lots of young aspiring teenagers just getting into poker. So its not exactly dead and could re emerge bigger than one thinks.
Also the 3 second warning is ridiculous even if u auto time bank.

The default alert sounds can be changed by clicking on the settings tab once you are at a table, then clicking sounds and then selecting each individual sound and uploading it individually, or you can select no sounds.
