4841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 04, 2019, 05:51:57 AM
There is no discussion here about today's NZ and Srilanka T20 match.  Maybe not many people following this series ?

Srilanka is playing really good today and reach 100 runs with only 2 wickets down. I think they are set for a big total today, maybe near 200 to make themselves comfortable.
Yes, Sri Lanka has been playing good. The early partnership was quite good, but further the third wicket has fallen. The match has got close to the end of over fourteen. After 100 the score isn't increasing much, I find the score to reach around 180. New Zealand were strong at the moment, and expect the winning to be on the side of New Zealand.

The moment i said that Sirlanka is playing well, all of sudden they lost two wickets.  Cheesy
They have wasted a review as well. Are we going to see the replay of the 1st T20, where Srilanka started well and then start losing the way as the games progressed.

Edit:  5 out now
Same thing has happened. My prediction is correct. Sri Lanka has scored 174 while I predicted around 180. Looking the third wicket fall I predicted there is very low chance for a 200 target. This way Sri Lanka has once unable to stop New Zealand chasing 174 even though there is good bowling in the match.
4842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: September 04, 2019, 04:10:48 AM
I agree with that trading is just like gambling if your not ready to lose you should not do that. It is very risk if you decide to put on your money to a altcoin or either bitcoin you should learned how to hodl to it when it comes to loss be patience on it and wait for the time that you coin you hodl will get up the price until you have the profit.
Trading too a kind of gambling, but if the user has some basic understanding he can withstand or he can decrease the loss. With gambling this will not apply. The result gets reflected immediately, it can be of loss or winning. With gambling the addiction is very dangerous, while trading is not that risky if we've made the investment over the right asset.
4843  Economy / Economics / Re: US-China Trade War Makes Bitcoin More Attractive To Investors on: September 04, 2019, 03:12:56 AM
There is no correspondence over the growth of bitcoin with the trade war happening between USA and China. As there is a big war getting out of the limits, more trades will get diversified to neighboring countries. China being a big economy when avoided with USA products there'll be market fall with USA and same is the scenario with China. This to be more attractive to users in one way, that is the increase in bitcoin usage. Following the trade war I believe more fiat transactions will get stopped moving to cryptocurrency.

If I'm not wrong this could happen which is the base for the widespread about cryptocurrency in t growing technology dependent world.
4844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin bearish or bullish on: September 04, 2019, 02:13:08 AM
As the dominance level of bitcoin is found above 70% there is more hope among the common people that it'll reach $100000 easily. From my understanding to what extent this is going to be a truth is still a dream. Maybe this will make the base more stronger than ever, and could attract the entire altcoins investors towards it.

The bearish and bullish trend changes with time period, as of now more good news is found often which makes most of the manipulation un effective. Moreover the ongoing month is a milestone for bitcoin as Bakkt is getting launched. This confirms more chances of the bull trend to continue.
4845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil: First to have Births Exclusively Recorded by Blockchain on: September 04, 2019, 01:28:18 AM
These news needs to be widespread which will familiarize the true need and the potential of the blockchain technology. When more and more governments adopt these into their administration related data recording people will begin to explore about the good things in the technology than the bad ones.

Already there is a thinking among the common people that bitcoin and the technology to be the same. The major reason for the existence is to perform illegal activities with ease. This will slowly gets overcome and better understanding about the technology can be seen.
4846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what ways Bitcoin is different from traditional currencies? on: September 03, 2019, 04:06:22 PM
Bitcoin can be used to pay for things electronically if both parties are willing. In that sense, it’s like conventional dollars, euros, or yen, which are also traded digitally.

But is it differs from fiat digital currencies in several important ways?
With cryptocurrencies there will be transparency and no central governing body. With traditional currencies there is a governing authority and intermediary service providers. Traditional currencies were backed by monetary policies based on which the currency is being printed. Most of the countries keep gold as reserve and prints currencies while bitcoin is completely a complex algorithm which means this is completely a technology backed asset. Digitally transfered dollars and euros were in the banks reserve while we're transferring bitcoin it is data.
4847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammer caught tortured and killed. on: September 03, 2019, 03:18:50 PM
The gang leader is too greedy, because with such a big amount he isn't gonna make anything out of it. Now through the same money scammed he has ended his life. India is a big country where people can easily scammed as they're in need of money. However these too were the reason for governments of India to stand against cryptocurrency.

4849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Bitcoin's Increasing Market Dominance on: September 03, 2019, 01:53:42 AM
The market dominance stays strong above 70% and altcoins keeps rolling down. How far this trend gonna continue is unpredictable, and if this continues then there is no chance for altcoins to head up. As the dominance increases more altcoins gets moved into bitcoin. This keeps the dominance level keep counting.

With this month there is the Bakkt which also predicted to make a huge impact over the market of bitcoin will surely make some positive gains which will once again affect the altcoins growth. It is getting proved bitcoin is the core, even when there are more than 2000 cryptocurrencies available.
4850  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the last recession, bitcoin went up 999999900% what will happen next? on: September 02, 2019, 05:37:11 PM
During the past recession it wasn't that familiar, and some say it hasn't existed by that time. Even by the time of existence it doesn't had any value and investments were made by people on complete fluke. Even it was there during the time of recession it could've never affected bitcoin much. Same will be the scenario this time too. The recession is not gonna impact the growth of bitcoin in any direction.
4851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: September 02, 2019, 04:52:32 PM
More contest and competition maybe. Usually, casino new or old almost have same feature. Same game, same type of bet. Maybe with contest and make different contest each month, or maybe make like seasonal. WIll attract a lot of people to play. So this can make benefit for users and for the site itself. Maybe like what primedice did, to attract people to bet and if they lose, who happy is owner of site itself.
These days most of the casinos were conducting regular contests. Here more rewards were provided apart from the first three places. This in my view is a way to keep the players continue gambling. The owners already knew well the common man will surely loss his temper and end up losing. If someone is not into it, they're easily caught up through the contests and made them to loss the funds.
4852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 02, 2019, 04:13:44 PM

Hopefully this change in the domestic structure will help find and bring some good players in the Pakistani team.
Yes, this could get more good players to Pakistan team. Most of the time mistakes that were pointed against Pakistan cricket players is, they don't hear the words of the senior players. This went into controversy during the world cup match as well, and how the domestic cricket is taken forward will be watched by the leading cricketing teams.
4853  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin volume is still rising ? on: September 02, 2019, 03:31:11 PM
There is continued fluctuation in the volume within specific range, same as that is the market dominance. As the price has got good stability at the $9500 range the market seems fluctuating without much of growth upward or downwards. If the volume keeps counting then it is the indication of growth over the entire market.

Right now only the new players keep on buying while the whales are into continuing buying and selling to create some manipulative point at which they can enter the market much stronger.
4854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next year will determine the fate of altcoins on: September 01, 2019, 02:41:19 PM
It btc dominance will continue to grow we will never see altseason... Anyway, in the next year more alts will be dead
your statements have no fundamental justification. for altcoins to die - bitcoin must have all the functionality that altcoins have: smart contracts / fast transactions / low fees, etc. now bitcoin did not have any of them thats why we will see the altcoin season and I think that not only one
I just think, if next year or in the future Altcoin will grow and grow based on their own blockchain network. because some platforms are already developing, of course they want to develop a bigger platform for them. then there will be more blockchain and have different uses in the market.
More altcoins will have their own blockchain platform, and specifically ethereum is much expected as there is more planned updates. Along with it there are more ico projects with burn and buy back access which is purely a good way of creating demand in the market. I don't think next year will determine the fate, because end of the year 2018 there were more speculations stating 2019 to be the year of altcoins. Nothing happened other than the growth of Binance Coin unlike the negative news and market trend.
4855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 01, 2019, 01:58:00 PM

Ishant has been performing exceedingly well with both bat and ball so far in this series and now the selectors will be a worried lot. There are too few slots and too many talented bowlers. In the West Indian pitches they can go with three pacers - Ishant, Bumrah and Shami. But one of them needs to be dropped for the sub-continental matches.

I would go with Sharma and Bumrah as both are the best bowlers India has had but I still doubt if Sharma can perform the same way against other teams as earlier he was known for giving away too many runs and wides due to his height. Just hope his talent is not limited only to weak teams like WI.
Well, both were good bowlers for India, and today bumrah has performed big in bowling. In the past the tail end wickets of India used to fall easier. These days slowly bowlers too performing good, Sharma is an example for the same. Earlier he will not withstand wickets for more than five balls. In bowling Sharma used to perform tremendous in a match and by the next match there won't be big contributions. He needs to maintain a steady performance against each and every team.
4856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: September 01, 2019, 07:41:52 AM
Philippines is a small economy and it depends on more neighboring countries for the development. This can be of infrastructure, and various other forms of development. China will not force without any perfect plan, and this time of Philippines didn't take necessary precautions China will surely make some strategies to eliminate.

From a common man's view Philippines won't consider this a big issue, because even if Philippines ban all form of gambling activities still there'll be gambling through bookies and other sources.
4857  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: September 01, 2019, 06:27:48 AM
A troubled economy can't be easily recovered with the help of bitcoin. This happens purely based on the participants on the economy. If there is very small number of people in the respective country use bitcoin then it won't make any changes in the troubled economy recovery. A large scale adoption in the country will help with making some development on the economy. It will not make any immediate impact, it also requires time as the market is highly volatile than the traditional market.
4858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Crypto-Stealing Ransomware Targets Fortnite Players on: September 01, 2019, 01:56:26 AM
A new piece of  ransomware called Syrk will encrypt files on your hard drive while deleting entire folders if the ransom is not paid. The malware is based on the open source Hidden-Cry program, an encryptor that appeared online last December and has been the basis for many bits of malware over the past year.

https://www.coindesk.com/new-ransomware-targets-fortnite-players

Not the first time a ransomware or a crypto-stealing malware spreads through fake cheating programs for online games, I remember similar thing being reported about Hearthstone in the past, and there's probably many more examples if you search for it. This should serve as a powerful lesson to anyone who got affected that downloading and running programs from unverified sources is a big no-no.

Agreed, this is nothing an exception. Ransomware attacks have been taking place very commonly. It is our responsibility to use the trusted and verified platforms. Recently one of dental patients data retrieval was attacked by a ransomware and demanded a $50000 ransom in bitcoin. It affected 400 dental practices, of the digital dental network. However we can't complain it is our mistake, because security systems were created by human and those were hindered by these people who dedicatedly work on these.
4859  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CMC's new ranking approach kicks in Sep 2 on: August 31, 2019, 07:07:27 PM
Coinmarketcap keeps themselves updated with each and every form of issues happening with the market and finds a solution for the same. Coinmarketcap plays a big role in the crypto ecosystem, and following the same more platforms have emerged and these new ones take data from CMC. By September 2 there is a big update and november has got another update based on liquidity metrics. This will help with perfect evaluation of each and every cryptocurrency.
4860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shopify is now supporting Bitcoin Lightning Payment on: August 31, 2019, 05:12:52 PM
Truly a good move from shopify, but the acceptance through an intermediary service is same as that an user making use of banks to transact his own funds. Here these intermediary service people sticking to strict KYC rules will make people avoid these services. Anyhow this is truly a big step forward in large scale adoption.

Shopify being one among the leading e-commerce platform accepting bitcoin will make a big difference in the e-commerce market which right now has got limited access with limited number of stores accepting bitcoin. Here good things related to bitcoin needs to be spread, which is very important for growth.
