4841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: May 03, 2016, 11:23:29 AM
Only in Las Vegas. They have great prices there and many different various slot games.

But online, its not really as much fun. Its better if its a physical slots game.
With me it's the other way around, I like online slots more than playing them in real casino's, I've had nothing but bad luck on physical slots, plus there is no way to see what the house edge is, and it's probably a lot higher than in online slots.

Slots with a progressive jackpot are my absolute favourite casino game
4842  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: May 03, 2016, 11:20:50 AM
I personally think it would be even more popular, since people would be able to convert fiat to Bitcoin and hold them without having to worry about it losing value.
It would be used more as a real payment method than it is now.

Payment received, thank you guys.
Pretty amazing that you've been paying consistently for this long without any delays, really good job!
4844  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: April 29, 2016, 11:24:26 AM
It all depends if it keeps growing at this pace, I think there might be a ceiling for the growth. I can't imagine everyone using it in its current state.
Just far too difficult to use and understand for regular people.
4845  Economy / Gambling / Re: Jackpotracer presents ★★★Dust Lottery★★★DUST to BTC★★★ on: April 29, 2016, 11:22:23 AM
That's actually pretty cool that you can win those amounts with such a small bet, but chances of hitting 6 numbers are really low though.
4846  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any tips to promote a referral link ? on: April 28, 2016, 08:16:44 PM
The most effective way is to write honest blog articles of the service / site where you implement your referral link. Spaming boards or comments with your referral link is very inefficient. So, be honest, invest some work in writing interesing information about the service and you will be successful.
I agree with this, but advertising networks are also a good option if you don't have the time or the skills to write articles and set-up a blog.
In the case of Adwords for example, you could focus either on good, expensive keywords or on less popular, thus cheaper keywords.
I still think that targeted traffic is the best and Adwords is perfect for that.

If you do decide to write articles to promote a referral link, keep in mind that it should be well-written and your blog should have a lot of traffic, which takes pretty long to achieve, especially if you're just learning this kind of stuff.
4847  Economy / Gambling / Re: We are working on the new games! on: April 28, 2016, 06:02:28 PM
I'm personally a fan of slots, if they're unique and offer a nice progressive jackpot.
I'm not interested in seeing the same slots over and over again.
4848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: April 28, 2016, 06:00:43 PM
It's pretty funny to see that the price of Dash is actually higher than the price of ETH, luckily I got out before the dumping started.
Was to be expected, closing down their forums due to lack of funds is a pretty bad signal.
4849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Law Would Send Bitcoin Users to Jail as Cybercriminals on: April 28, 2016, 05:58:26 PM
Damn, when I saw the title, I though this was just another unconfirmed rumour from a shady source, but seeing that it's Bloomberg, that's pretty bad news.
Plus, I didn't know Iceland was planning to ban Bitcoin, gotta look into that, I though European countries in general would be fairly safe.
4850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Escrow information on: April 28, 2016, 05:54:13 PM
You can find trusted members here in the Services section of the forum that offer escrow, but I don't really understand your question.

Here's some info on escrow in general:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_Escrow_Service

But don't just use any service that is listed there, do your research Smiley
4851  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any tips to promote a referral link ? on: April 28, 2016, 05:51:06 PM
I've had some success promoting referral links on Mellowads.com
But I think it's still far better to use traditional networks like Google Adwords, or even Facebook.
4852  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: April 28, 2016, 05:47:58 PM
Once you start loaning out big amounts, the risk increases too, I would not do it if I were you, just not worth the risk in my opinion. (unless you do it with collateral)
And doing smaller loans just isn't worth your effort if you really have that many Bitcoins.

Just save them, that's the best option.
4853  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin hits 400$ mark on: April 28, 2016, 05:45:44 PM
I think it's pretty positive that it has been floating between 400 and 500 dollars for quite some time now.
I'm curious what it will be after the halving, but I guess everyone is Smiley
4854  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling sites offering free signup bonus? on: April 28, 2016, 05:44:03 PM
There are tons of gambling sites that let you use their faucet, but you probably mean something bigger than a few thousand Satoshis.
Crypto-games has a pretty good faucet, but that one 'only' pays like 10k Satoshis per day (in smaller increments)
4855  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think any casino will offer zero/negative house edge? on: April 28, 2016, 05:41:39 PM
That just isn't a sustainable business model, you will end up losing your bankroll of someone wins a big amount, there's always variance...
Maybe it would be possible if they set the maximum payout very low, but who in the right mind would pay for server costs etc. and basically make no profit whatsoever?
4856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitClub's fake offer to return fee blunder on: April 28, 2016, 05:38:21 PM
I thought it was pretty bogus for BitClub to first announce they collected an accidental 316 BTC fee, then say they would return it if the owner contacted them and "verified their identity".

Obviously they could just send the 316 BTC back to the address that sent it.

I have to admit I would have kept the coins if I had mined the block, but at least I would not be so sleazy as to make up some lie about verifying people.
That would be a pretty terrible and unethical thing to do, I would not want to keep those Bitcoins if they were sent in error.
I think they're pretty serious about it, yes it's good publicity but also just a decent thing to do.
4857  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Be Aware of New Malware Mines 'PWOBot' on: April 28, 2016, 11:23:18 AM
Wasn't utorrent doing something like this in the past without users consent? (They've stopped doing that apparantly)
There are probably some free applications out there that do this, so it's not always botnets..

4858  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin be the New King of Currency? on: April 28, 2016, 11:18:33 AM
That is only possible if Bitcoin is going to be more used and also more worth otherwise it will have still haters and many people are going to use their own money.
But the chance is high that it can be the most used payment method  also and that would be nice.
Yes, there are high chances for the bitcoin that it becomes a king of currencies and it will have the more users than any other currency, as the adoption rate of bitcoin is now going to be much faster which is its guarantee.
There is no way of knowing that there's a high chance that Bitcoin will become a major currency, I'd say it's pretty unlikely since it's just too complicated for the average joe to understand.
4859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be divided beyond satoshis? on: April 28, 2016, 10:59:21 AM
It is possible it is useless.. What are you want to that divided beyond satoshi lol you are kidding man. Dont you think the transaction fee is higher than than collecting divided satoshi
It wouldn't be useless if the price goes up by a very high amount, they would lower the transaction fee too if that were the case.
Not likely to happen any time soon, but who knows, maybe in 20 years or so...
4860  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin halving is real? on: April 28, 2016, 10:54:06 AM
Yes of course it is real, but was it really needed to make a new topic for that?
You should just do some research, a quick search would have given you the answer even faster.
