4861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Price Speculation 2016 * POLL* on: July 11, 2016, 09:32:40 PM
Litecoin is actually (as many people said) a long term investment coin. Its price can jump high and keeps on rising in one interval, then going back down again. I've actually experiencing these ups and downs several time that it made me still hold my faith on ltc although its price is considerably low for some time. But yeah, it was also said that it is being controlled by china. So I think, ltc's probability to reach certain value is influenced by china's big players.

I can't find any announcement about board that is not counted as paid post on this thread. May I know which board that aren't counted?

Excluding local boards, every board is accepted
I am not sure if actually local boards may be accepted as, as long at the post can be understood by the campaing manager, you are free to  post whereevery you wish!
(for future reference, if it is not stated as a conditions thenm it usually isn't a condition of the campaign)!

I see on bitvest that lutpin said local board will not be counted due to language gap

Are posts in Local counted? Is it obligatory for everyone to wear personal text?
I'm going to have a hard time determining whether or not a post is being constructive if I can't even make out what the user is saying.
As a result, I won't be abled to count any posts not being made in english.

I assume that this campaign will also have the same rule as it has the same campaign manager?

I would also like to clarify, is it a mistype? The rate for member and full member are the same

4864  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk app? on: July 10, 2016, 11:59:55 PM
I just wanna know if there's a bitcointalk app for android and ios?

If I may know, why bother with android apk?
You can access this forum just fine from your android or ios browser. I use android and I frequently check and post from my phone. It works just fine. There are a lot of users who access this forum from their phone too. Plus, if you use your phone's browser instead of the apk, you don't have to install one more apk on your phone, its more practical.

And add some description instead of just youtube link. I believe you understand that not all people want to click your link right away and wasting their time watching video that's out of their interest. Adding some brief description will convince them better and help them considering to use your service.

But more importantly, move this thread to services board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

Someone in the Trollbox today started flaming me because I said RBIES wouldn't hit 10k satoshis. He starts talking shit so, naturally, I return the fire. This goes back and forth for a few minutes until I am ultimately given a 1 week ban by the mod. No warning whatsoever, and no punishment for the instigator. What the fuck? I'm active in chat quite frequently, and have not had any prior incidents.

It is actually mod's right to ban anyone that said anything harm on trollbox. IIRC, on previous pages there are an issue where some people got concerned about "magnificent words" being passed around the trollbox because they usually trading on yobit with their underage children around. Why don't you just make it a lesson to be more careful next time and not getting provoked easily (least we wanted is you getting more suspension for poking around about this issue) and meanwhile, trade on other site. I heard poloniex offer a good trading too, never tried them, though.
4867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exciting Bitcoin Projects! on: July 07, 2016, 05:41:09 PM
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but since this thread is talking about bitcoin related project, does anybody know about LBRY? https://lbry.io/
From what I catch, this website is about media sharing which we can get paid if anyone choose to watch our content? And the payment is on an altcoin called LBRY?
4868  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucets are real waste of time??? on: July 07, 2016, 03:45:38 PM
I think it is mostly because the amount earned by doing faucet are very far from the amount you got from posting one paid post on this forum. Hence, the upper rank member will have greater tendency to have an opinion that faucet is time wasting or time consuming. I admit that I should agree that the earning from faucet is "laughable" if compared to the earning we got from signature campaign. But, that didn't mean I am not using faucet. I use some for killing time. While the reason why I still come to this section is simply because I'm still occasionally checking the new faucets, looking for high paying new one or at least to test them to see if I will like them and use them when I have some time to spare.
4869  Economy / Services / Re: Product Reviews on: July 07, 2016, 03:35:20 PM
I will post reviews of your book, service or product on any website.

These are the prices:

- 0.01 BTC = 2 reviews (you need to provide me the text)
- 0.02 BTC = 5 reviews (you need to provide me the text)
- For an additional 0.01 BTC I can write the text on my own.

If you need more reviews I can send you special custom offers  Wink

I can provide you some reviews @ 0.25 usd to 0.5 usd using paypal . If interested you can ping me anytime and I would respond you back soon .

You get it wrong, he is offering his service of reviewing, not looking for some service for reviewing.
4870  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many people are considering selling after the halving? on: July 03, 2016, 08:33:03 PM
There is actually a prediction that it'll reach a very high one for about two or three days right after the halving due to people's tendency to buy in anticipation of the "high rise" or "to the moon", and after one or two weeks, it will slow down. I can say that I'm agree with most people here, if you want to play safe, don't be greed or (if I may say) naive by waiting for the highest, because that highest point is not certain. Play safe by setting our own point where you'll sell some or all of your btc when the price reach that point, then get satisfied by it, no matter if the price goes up or down after that point. I'm not selling mine because I'm actually planned to keep it for a while.
4871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoindark vs Dash on: July 03, 2016, 08:25:34 PM
Does BTCDark and darkcoin different? If they're synonymous, then this thread is... confusing, since DASH is the incarnation of darkcoin, which means btcdark, darkcoin, and DASH all the same. If not, well... I never heard btcd, but I know DASH has a strong root and its value is quite stable for the last few months.
4872  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Wallet safe? on: July 01, 2016, 12:24:31 PM
These wallets are safe and secure to use due to the fact that it has a great customer service and this wallet is also working very smooth.

Apart from that XAPO is busy with expanding which tells me they are there for the long run. I've got on wallet with them now since I use mainly kraken for deposits and withdrawals to fiat.

Actually, my faith for this wallet gets a little bit finer since they seems trying to improve their customer service by having JessieXapo. She tries to answer some problems posted around the forum and I saw that some people actually posting on how their account problems are now fixed.

What farm game are you talking about? I don't see any link on your page... Looks the dead FarmSatoshi.

Would be nice if you add a direct link to the game you are saying on your blog.

Its actually a game on play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamevaultstudios.farmbit&hl=in
Although I'm not sure how legit this game is, anyone with payment proof? I can't find any review on this forum
Last week mine wife received an payment from farmbits. I stopped already playing because it cost to much time and you need to click a lot of things before you can make the product.

This game is also available on IOS and not only for android devices.

How much is the rate, if i may know? I assume that it is almost similar to farmsatoshi?
I've stopped playing faucet these days and only accessing certain one that worth visiting, if this game is a good one (in terms of user interface and gaming system), I think I'll try, since I found that I enjoy farmsathoshi

4876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convert to USD? on: June 23, 2016, 11:54:05 AM
I am a student and don't really have bank account and won't have one atleast for next 3 years but i do own 25 BTC by my 3 year hard work.It really stress me to see bitcoin rates fluctuate so much. Some people say to immediately sell after halving to secure profit but i won't be able to do so because i have no way nor intention of converting it into cash yet.Now my question is how can i convert them into usd temporory online when bitcoin rates are up say 1 btc = 1000 USD then i want to convert my 25 BTC to 25000 USD and when it goes down i will buy again.Basically,i don't want to convert it into cash. I see websites like btc-e.com,bitfinex etc but do they need verifications etc and any limit on trades? and is it wise to hold that much bitcoin in exchange sites? I don't want to end up being the person who just kept holding bitcoins even when the price got upto 1000 usd and keep it falling down. Please advice something   Smiley

Almost similar to what Bryant.coleman said, since you don't plan to cash it out and only wanted to "rotate" them around from btc-usd-btc, I'd suggest a trading sites like yobit or others alike. IDK about btc-e since I never use them, but I think Yobit didn't require you to do verification if you don't plan to exchanging your btc into physical cash. CMIIW.
4877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get Bitcoin inside North Korea? on: June 22, 2016, 06:49:24 PM
Do they even have internet connection  Shocked ? trying to get Bitcoin inside North Korea (from the outside) could work however promoting from the inside may just get you killed.

As fascinating the idea is, it's quite difficult to be achieved.
Just like omegastarscream said, there are two possible method to introduce btc to NK, from within the people themselves and from outsider like us. The later will grant us, any of us who tried, an one way ticket to afterlife while the former would need a strong effort and solidarity. The dictatorship that their country applied would mostly scare civilians from trying to introduce something new. A revolution is needed to fight the dictatorship, true, but if they can built such revolution, I think they will focus it on forming a new kind of leadership and ruling system instead of umm... introducing cryptocurrency.
Unless Kim is interested on btc himself.

Dead on.  I personally wouldn't be surprised if KIM was interested in cryptocurrency tho, he was known as a wiz-kid growing up and his rogue nation is known to embark on many illegal transactions, it's undoubted Bitcoin is at least, on Kim's radar.

If he is interested, then its a good start. But NK will still need to address other problems before they can successfully adopt btc. Getting through posts here gave the idea of what factors needed to be thought thoroughly like electricity that's still unstable for some people or NK private internet connection.
4878  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: anyone who want to earn crytocurrency on: June 22, 2016, 12:38:20 PM
Hello and welcome.
Faucetbox is a "pool" of faucet services and yes, it is a good way to earn fre cryptocoin for new users. May I suggest you to try freebitco.in and freedoge.co.in, they are owned by same man and AFAIK, they are one of the highest paying faucet these days. You can also look for other faucet or post your info regarding faucet here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0
But, to contradict myself, you might want to read shorena's post about faucet risk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1044399.0
From my own experience, faucet won't give you much unless you have access to free and unlimited internet quota, because what you get from the faucet is not as much as the quota needed to access them.

4880  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Wallet safe? on: June 18, 2016, 05:36:22 PM
Xapo has been the best wallet online currently TBH. They have been dealing with lots of btc everyday and even rewarding their customers with free btc for no work. It can be considered safe, but remember, don't put bitcoins on any online wallet, always use desktop wallet for storing your coins.

I never know that Xapo gives free btc.
Do you mean faucets that are paying directly to Xapo? If so, it is not Xapo who gives free credit, they just offer a free direct payment from those faucet providers
