4901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 08, 2016, 10:45:28 AM
Gambling itself is not wrong but the addiction you can get from is very wrong, the point is also some people are very fast addicted to something so that is another reason why it wrong for such people.
In my eyes gambling itself is not wrong but even enjoying if you ask me but you have to control yourself.
You can say that. But the fact that its existing makes people addicted and lose tons of money makes it bad. Even if it just starts as an entertainment or a way to past time, it still gets people hooked on it. It is like drugs. So if drugs are bad, so you can also say that gambling is bad.
4902  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 08, 2016, 01:36:08 AM
i did.. now i dont have job in real life. fulltime on PC to earning money from internet.

same earning bitcoin directly is much more satisfying and fun than earning fiat in the suual boring way, i'm not evcen searchign a job it's useless, also by earning money directly with bitcoin you don't pay the deductions from your fiat job

not to mention that payment are actually precise and don't come late for whatever reason, talking about mining here not signature

Deductions.  Grin Now that you said it I start thinking about it. Yes same as the businesses like selling something or doing a job for a neighbor or a friend. You got paid without deduction and taxes. Cool. I love that idea now.
Damn taxes and still the country is getting worst.

That is one perk of earning bitcoin. You can avoid the high taxes on your earnings. But having a regular jobs have its own perks too like bonuses or healthcare benefits. If you're getting older, you cannot deny that health benefits means a lot.
4903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 07, 2016, 07:00:16 AM
Trading is some sort of a gamble too because you are not sure where the trades will go. But, there can be signal to which it may actually go. So in my opinion, trading is not a pure gamble because you have calculated risk and there is a higher chance that you can win. If you study enough, read news and know how to read charts, you can be able to predict the right trade to make. In gambling, everything is left to chance.
4904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 07, 2016, 06:51:49 AM
I've used browser extensions to block myself from sites before. Very simple.

it was very simple indeed... But I don't think if gamblers won't cheat themselves, blocking it and unblocking it from time to time...its more like cigarette addiction, first they would stop smoking and then started to buy one stick and then back again and just repeating the same scenario... it needs a very strong "will" if you want to stop it alone without help from other people...

and if this happens, you will be worse than before. I don't think self-restrain is enough to quit gambling addiction. To better cure addiction, one must seek professional help. Also, help from friends and relatives is can do a lot to addicts. It makes them feel that they are not alone in their battle with their addiction.
4905  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 07, 2016, 06:32:19 AM
I would never do this its way to risky of you ask me, because of the fact you have to life from a certain amount to pay everything.
Its way to risky to go full time in the bitcoin because there are too many risks if you ask me.

nope. You can pay for your life with bitcoin. if you ask me "what are you working full in bitcoin?" not yet. I still work part time. because I have to divide my time with the college. even though. bitcoin very useful. bitcoin pay all school purposes

school purposes and real life purposes are different things, school expenses are not too much, but when it comes to your real life, you simply cannot depend on bitcoins, what will you do if bitcoin pay you in peanuts in future?

Yes, you cannot compare school expense to life expense. Say that again when you are paying for electricity, water and house mortgages or when you quit school and rely your future in bitcoin. For me, bitcoin is really good extra income but I cannot still rely my life expense on it. I am not that big earner yet, maybe someday when I become really really good in trading, maybe I can think of quitting my day job.
4906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 07, 2016, 06:02:10 AM
Gambling is wrong because it's risky way and earning is really not guaranteed but in the other hand you can lose all your hard earned coins in some seconds , in addition you could be addicted gambler and that's really worthless
I think gambling for a means to earn is a bad idea, it should be avoided at all cost. once one gets addicted to gambling it's real hard to not to gamble.

Why you can't make gambling as your earning, although you dont need to make it your active income but for passive income is really great idea because the payout is really good. I know there is high risk too but the payout already cover the risk so if you can overcome the risk, there is no problem about gambling just to earn
Because it's risky.. if one wins a little then try for more if one loses then we try to recover and eventually losing all the money get it? you wouldn't understand unless you lose significant amount, the risk is too much.

The payout is normally really good to entice gamblers in. But once in, it is hard to stop and you become addicted. Once addicted you cannot control the money you put in it and you may lose a lot. That is how gambling is bad. It makes people lose control of their money. They continue betting even in their losing streak. Though some people can control it, but there are only a few of them. Majority of us cannot control it.
4907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: March 05, 2016, 02:20:01 PM
The only way to stay away from gambling is you must consistent to stay away from gambling. Motivation yourself and do something busy everyday.

Staying away from gambling is never easy, it needs a strong will, and a new diversion.. I think "prevention is better than cure" is applicable... while you are not yet addicted, stay away from it...

Yes, not getting involve in the first place with gambling beats curing your addiction. Just avoid this section and any gambling site before you get soaked into gambling.  But if you are already too deep into gambling, staying away is not enough. It will find a way to reel you back in. So, I advice, seek profesional help to really stop any gambling problems and totally get away with it.
4908  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 05, 2016, 02:08:32 PM
Earning a living with bitcoin is really possible but you must not rely here alone.

There are lots of financial opportunity you can do while at the same time doing your usual method in bitcoin.

Multiple financial earnings options are better than relying on one alone.

Totally agree with this. If you can have multiple source of income, why not do it? I cannot live on bitcoin alone but it is a great supplement on my income from my day job. And just a reminder, if you want to do multiple jobs, be sure you do it without sacrificing your health. Health is still more important than money.
4909  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2016, 01:48:43 PM
Worst mistake i did with bitcoin is not know bitcoin early. Because i know about bitcoin is around 2014 and if i know about bitcoin early, maybe i can be a rich person.

You can still be a rich person if you keep pursuing it and never stop on doing what you are doing right now, it just you don't do bitcoin sooner but you can still do something if you really want to be rich.

I really appreciate your advice and the encouragement i strongly believe it is never too late for anything, still we can become rich by saving bitcoin and trading it at the right moment, at least feel lucky that you are a part of bitcoin because still people out there don't have any idea about the digital currency and all those stuff.
I agree with this. It is like old saying, "better late than never". You can still make up with the lost time. I still consider bitcoin is at its early stage yet. There are still a lot of good stuffs that can happen, opportunity to grab that can make you rich. It is never too late.

today i lost 0.001 btc in gambling :-(
You can still do worse. 0.001 is still a small amount. :-)
4910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $ 400 soon? on: March 05, 2016, 01:34:57 PM
today bitcoin price goes down to $400
i think we will goes down again, people want to buy bitcoin at cheap price before halving Roll Eyes

I am hoping it drop a bit more before I purchase, let us see if this will continue. It was dropping since friday, and now it's at its lowest since two weeks ago. I will be purchasing soon if it goes lower than 400. Big opportunity is opening our way guys, grab it.
4911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 04, 2016, 01:34:14 PM
Yes I'm one of the bitcoin holders, I am holding some cents because I see it has potential to rise and I think it still hasn't reached it's peak price. Bitcoin also showed it's ability to recover from price falls as well.

if you are holding some cents from couple of months then its already the time to get some profit by selling them yes bitcoins have potential to rise even more it is not at the peak yet but you never know when its going down so something is better then nothing

You are right but you do not need to worry about the fact they bitcoin will go to a low point this year and if it will its for a second.
The halving is coming so you will make profit for sure you just need patience and do not sell when you are scared of the collapse from the bitcoin.

If you already hold for a few months, why not hold a few months more until past halving and you can fell its effect on bitcoin price. Everyone is expecting it to increase the price so hold a bit more and enjoy when the price hike comes.
4912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: March 04, 2016, 01:22:44 PM
very difficult to get out of gambling. you can only play to reduce gambling. I've tried, but it failed. I returned to play gambling. and I am grateful I was always lucky in this game.
Well if your the person that doesnt want to go outside to have some sweat in playing sports or maybe you cant quit because just like you've said you are always lucky but is there really person that is always lucky?

Luck is a fickle friend, here today and gone again. If you can't quit gambling on your own, you must find help from your friends. I am sure they will be willing to give a helping hand to get you out of your gambling problems
4913  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2016, 06:49:45 AM
the biggest mistake I ever did was buy a lot bitcoin at the peak price ($ 1,000)
Damn, that must hurt. If you are still keeping it now,you are still down 60%. But you can still make that bitcoin grow, and wait for another price hike before you sell and make profit. I hope you did not make your next big mistake, selling it at a low price.
4914  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2016, 03:51:50 AM
My greatest mistake was when I already knew bitcoin but I did not give it a try. If I had done this in its early stage, I should have a lot of bitcoins right now and I can just hodl 'til it reaches the thousand dollar worth level.
4915  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 04, 2016, 03:36:18 AM
I kind of already am full time on Bitcoin. I spend my day coding and all payments I get from it is in Bitcoin. Doesn't bother me, afer halving the price will increase again.
Good for you, it seems that I see more and more people having a steady income through bitcoin. This just proves that more and more people trusts the system. Hopefully I could be like that too someday, but for now bitcoin is still a side job for me.
4916  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 03, 2016, 09:29:04 AM

But if you only save your money or just keep it in a bank, your money will eventually lose its value to inflation. Remember, bank's interest cannot keep up with inflation rate. So if you just keep it in the bank, it will be the same amount but lesser value. It is still best if you let your money work for you true investment. There are a lot of kind of investments with risk that could fit your financial needs.

it's right agree with you Smiley
the interest of bank is very low, can't keep up with inflation rate, but bank give your guarantee your money is safe store at bank.

i think if you save/invest your money at bitcoin you will not find always in profit.

Investing in bitcoin will always involve risk as the value keeps on fluctuating, but saving money in bank will not be profitable either, but if the value of bitcoin rise in future, you can better returns in compare to that you save in banks.

If you are still afraid of investing into bitcoin, there are still other investment types you can use like stocks or mutual funds. They have risks so you have to think very carefully before you engage. And a tip on investments, do not put all your money in one place. So invest some in bitcoins, some on mutual funds, some stocks.
4917  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 03, 2016, 08:52:17 AM
snip
It's good to hear that you are balancing both the things very nicely, as after the full time job its really difficult to work on bitcoins for 3 to 4 hours, but if want to get rich then we have to do that.

Yes, it is difficult to have a double job, it very physically challenging. I just hope he will not overdo it and end up over fatigued and sick. It is bad if all the bitcoins and money he accumulated doing double job all goes to hospital charges.
4918  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: March 03, 2016, 07:28:28 AM
I've heard my teacher say, if you want to be rich, then you haris saving diligently. maybe it's all you can do, but you also have to have a great income, if you do that in a long time, maybe it could happen  Grin
For long term, saving money plus spending smart, have a good plan can improve you and for short term, lean ideas and being lucky is helpful.
it would be very easy to say that, if you already have a job and a steady income. Of course you only need to manage the finances and expenditures were smart, you would be rich
but what about someone who does not have a job?
be diligent not necessary

If you do not have a job and you wanted to be rich, it is high time you move and get yourself a job or anything that can make you a steady income. It is the first step to become financially free. If you can't do at least that, do not bother thinking about being rich.
4919  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 03, 2016, 05:38:10 AM
saving money is in a bank is less risky that investing but with very low interests.
while investing has a high risk and high potential profit. So I believe that it is better to gather between the two options
I prefer choose saving i the bank. the risk is very small. even almost no risk.
little interest is not a problem, it is just a bonus. we just want to keep save

But if you only save your money or just keep it in a bank, your money will eventually lose its value to inflation. Remember, bank's interest cannot keep up with inflation rate. So if you just keep it in the bank, it will be the same amount but lesser value. It is still best if you let your money work for you true investment. if i can earn everyday 0.083 like today , i will quit from my realjob and go full time on bitcoin
my problem as trader sometimes i lose some bit's ans sometimes i earn somebits so i can't get consistenly earnin like realjob

Well you cannot leave your future to chance. You need to up your game and have a consistent income before you consider leaving your regular job. Trading is really hard but if you find a system that really works for you, it will be a source of great income.
