Trading and gambling is a waste of time unless you hold a expertise in it, I would rather suggest to go with signature campaigns where you can earn a descent amount of bitcoins.

Why did you say trading is a waste of time? It is far more profitable in the end than sig campaign. Expert traders did not start as expert, they began noob too just like you and me. Its just, they have the patience to study and develop a system that works for them.

Just find some distraction that is the best way. I hope later that more people will stop gambling.
You must find things that you like to do and that will be good and you will also save some money.

yup distraction, that's needed, and probably with the help of the family, specially if the addicted one is still young,,,

If you are so addicted to gambling, gamble with virtual money, as in demo-money.

For example there are many video games where you can gamble, and play with only virtual money, not real like bitcoin.

Its funny because bitcoin is also considered virtual, but it;s not, its real. Virtual would be a video game money or something like that.

Playing virtual casino with virtual currency does not have the same thrill as gambling with real money. If you lose or win, its nothing. You can just shrug it off. Unlike if you gamble with money, hard earned, every roll keeps you on your toes.
4943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 25, 2016, 05:53:31 AM
To me it doesn't really feel like real money, simply because I've never seen anybody accept it as a payment type (in europe).

There are places where you can buy with it. Not many, but the list is growing more and more every year.

In my country, there are more online shops accepting the bitcoin. It grows month after month now.

If bitcoin gets accepted on retail shops or convenience store around the corner, then it really is like fiat money. But now, only few online shops accept them, so it is still a long way to be real money. Hopefully one day we can spend bitcoin as conveniently as we spend fiat or even better.

In certain countries large number of retails stores are accepting bitcoin, which makes them ease of access and risk free when it comes to keep them in the wallet.
You guys are really lucky because in your area you can spend bitcoin near your home and your cities. I am also hopping that in my area also some retail shops and restaurants will open who accept bitcoin as payment. That would be very cool when I buy some milk with bitcoin.

Same here. I can only spend bitcoin on online shops or if I exchange it first to fiat. I think there is a lot of people here involve in bitcoin but no establishments yet adopting it.
4944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2016, 05:38:16 AM
Yes it rise and fall of the price of bitcoin is very difficult to predict precisely because with a few minutes of the price can change.
I a gree with you.

We can only predict but we cannot exactly know what is gonna happen in the market, it can go very high in a few hours but it can also come down in a couple of minutes, that is why trading is risky sometimes (actually it is always risky, without experience).
You are correct that there are risks and trade cuman not trade, investment also carries risks. To do that you have to have the skills to be able to benefit. If you do not have any expertise you can try the signature campaign because it was very easy and the result is quite a lot.
of course everything we do has a risk you have to take any risks. including the signature campaign which has the risk of not being paid.

True. And if you do not have the skills to trade, there are a lot of sites that can teach you how to do it. There are also platforms where you can have trial periods. All you have to do is to have dedication to do what you have to do.
4945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $ 400 soon? on: February 25, 2016, 05:03:16 AM
I hope. It is an opportunity if it goes down below 400,  I can pump up my bitcoins and wait for the price increase after the halving. Last time the price dropped, I did not buy. So hoping this time I can grab the opportunity if it happens.
4946  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2016, 01:21:33 AM
It's the year of Bitcoin when it reaches the market cap it had in November 2013 and it has a long way to go for that.

Majority of us would not be an part of bitcoin community at that mode of time, so we are not sure what was th scenario in the year 2013, but lets hope this would be the best year for bitcoin.

Yes majority of us are not yet a part of this community back then. So it shows that bitcoin and its community have grown a lot just in 3 years. And may  grow a lot more this year because of the events happening this year.
4947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 24, 2016, 12:40:54 PM
I think the simplest way of growing bitcoins is to purchase some amount of bitcoins and do the trading with some of amounts will be beneficial to grow the bitcoins.

Yeah, but you should be well aware when to buy it and when to sell it, if you know the right time to buy then you can make a good profit by selling it on higher rates.
Yeah you should know when good time to buy or sell.
This happened to me. unfortunately I put the order at the price of $ 428 and now the price down to $ 419

Well many people predict the price will decrease and going down yesterday, that's why i'm not order yesterday. Better you sell your bitcoin now before the price going down more.
It is bitcoin, price will swing up and down. If its spiralling down, its opportunity to buy more coins. Then sell when it soars back up. You should be ready though when that happens. Sometimes, price spikes lasts only a few minutes.

Simple: block sites that entice you to go gambling and freeze your funds in a cold storage. In that way gambling sites would be inaccessible and you don't have to worry about spending your money because it is already in a cold storage where most of your funds are on.
Not so simple like that I think, blocking gambling sites wouldn't work if we still have an Internet access.
Would be better take a rest on surfing in the Internet for a couple weeks maybe hoping to forget gambling .

Quite true. Even if you block the sites, if you still have internet access, sooner or later you'll be tempted to unblock them. But totally turning off the internet is quite brutal. Some people make a living out of internet, how can they quit that way? That also means letting go of their income for a few weeks.
Well during the therapy  (rest from accessing internet) you need to find a way to replace that income from Internet which it could be your new occupation,  isn't it better if it work forgetting gamble activity?
There must be something to sacrificed to reach this goal "quit gambling" include have no Internet access for weeks. It's worth.
It could be hard to find a replacement for a current source of income especially for an addict. Support from relatives and friends will be needed until the addict can stand on his own two feet again.
4949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: February 24, 2016, 10:02:14 AM
I have never heard of a bank accepting bitcoin. But I think most of the banks were trying to adopt the running technology of bitcoin.

Yes they are mostly attracted to the blockchain technology but not on bitcoin. To them, bitcoin is a competition and should be eradicated. Hopefully, bitcoin will overcome them.
4950  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: February 24, 2016, 09:13:00 AM
i have 1 sugestion, don't be focused with one point. you can earn bitcoin for your part time but don't leave your real job.
you know nowdays it's hard to find a job. think it

Good comment. Why waste the opportunity when you can do both. Do your day job during the day, and spend your nights or weekends doing bitcoin.

4952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 24, 2016, 09:02:34 AM
Gambling is very wrong. I think more people will stop gambling soon and that will be good. It cost so much money and that is not good.
You always lose more money than you win money and that is not good.

It depends upon the gambler and their experience...to most of gamblers who regularly gamble, it is not wrong, to those who can control their self while gambling, it is not wrong, but there are people who really are unlucky and sometimes busted in early times, and try to go wild because of loses, gambling to them sometimes is wrong.. so it really depends upon the gamblers experience..  Smiley

It is wrong if it already has a negative impact on the person or people around the person. If you sell you house and lot just to gamble then it is really wrong. But if you just gamble for entertainment without minding if you win or lose, then it is good. A good relaxation after a days hard work is not bad, and if you get that from gambling then it is okay.

4954  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 23, 2016, 12:01:15 PM
Yep, they are linked together in a sense that you have to have a job or steady income before you can save. And you need to have savings before you can invest. The profit in your investments needs to be saved for future use or further investments.
4955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 23, 2016, 11:56:29 AM
Some people are saying its difficult but I do not think its difficult to stop gambling and stay away from it, my opinion is that you can stop whenever you want you only need to realize that you are addicted and that it can go no further anymore if you understand that by yourself you can just quit gambling.

Another tip is just speaking about it with a relative(family & friends) to stop and stay away from it forever.

Easier said than done. And it cannot be treated overnight. It needs a lot of self restrain and help / intervention from friends and relatives. Addiction is addiction. You cannot just say I'm done and it's over. There is still that craving that will pull you back.

Faucets is better than spending time on facebook or youtube videos.

Are you kidding? Using faucets you learn nothing, while on Facebook you can browse popular pages and read the latest news, have a good time reading jokes or simply socialize. On Youtube you can watch documentaries, learn to code, practice your listening skills in a foreign language...

Now that you mention it, facebook and youtube is not that useless after all. I only use youtube for listening to music and facebook to chat with friends. NOw you've given me a new perspective in using this media tools. Though I still favor faucet a bit because you can have an income though very small.
4957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 23, 2016, 09:37:50 AM
If you really are a hard core gambler, months may not be enough, maybe years and that is even with professional support. It is really hard to get away from addiction, but it is not impossible.
4958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 23, 2016, 09:33:57 AM
Avoid anything gambling related like this section, gambling sites, casino etc. Also you can find new hobby where you can focus your mind, time and energy so you won't be thinking about gambling only.
4959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest payout on 🌟Bitvest.io🌟? on: February 23, 2016, 09:22:50 AM
I've hit a few decent multipliers but I never seem to cash out when I should.  I once hit the 111x with two out of three balls, dropped my bet down to minimum, dropped one ball on the next turn, and it went straight down the 1111x line.....Grrrrrrrr.  I blew it!  I should bet MAX on that drop!

Same here. Already won 0.05 BTC, and I thought I could win more. Ending up with 0 twice. I just cannot control the urge to go one last time.
4960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you be interested in a bitcointalk lottery? on: February 23, 2016, 08:51:02 AM
Those who are lucky in raffle draws or lottery could join if you can convince them that they can trust you. For me, I have never won a single ticket in my whole life so I am not going to try this one now. I am much luckier doing dice or plinko.

But how will you know if you are really lucky on raffle or not? Because if you never try it you will never know the result then. And by trying a couple of times doesnt determine that you not lucky because it is luck games. And all people will have this kind of problem, money problem. Most of them which have more money will have a higher chance to win it but the rest just depends on their luck

You know you are lucky when you when a couple of raffles. Like this friend of mine who won grand prize in two consecutive christmas raffles.
