4961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA : Complete Domestic Competitions! on: April 28, 2020, 10:46:40 PM
French Footbal Federation has just announced Ligue 1 also canceled for this year like Eredivise.
I am expecting same decision for Seria A, La Liga and Premier League actually.

Probably, Bundesliga will be completed this summer.
It's sad to see such news. Interesting how it will affect teams which still compete in UEFA cups, like Lyon or PSG. Probably remaining matches of Champions league will be played somewhere on neutral pitch, so they would be allowed to play.
I think that this scenario is possible in your mentioned countries, but I read that teams may be allowed to back on training soon.
AakZaki, AFAIK, UEFA makes such payments to federations every year, it's used for football development, infrastructure improvement, but this year federations will be allowed to use this money to support clubs which were affected by this crisis.
4962  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am building a Wikipedia for Bitcointalk Heroes on: April 28, 2020, 10:32:53 PM
OP, I don't want to be sceptical, but I think your idea will not work. Wikipedia is very strict for articles related with Bitcointalk because it's considered as not credible source. So, even if you will publish article, it may get deleted. Only few members of Bitcointalk have Satoshi, Hal Finney and few others have Wiki page, but they didn't got it for contribution on Bitcointalk, they got it for Bitcoin development. Even theymos don't have Wiki page.
But maybe it can be done on en.bitcoin.it wiki page...

You should have read the post further. He didn't say he was going to be adding these pages to Wikipedia, he mentioned MediaWiki which is the Open Source software Wikipedia runs off of. He would essentially be creating his own Wikipedia for this purpose, just like the Bitcoin Wikis did.
Oh, I missunderstood his post, thanks for clarifying it. Well, building own wiki from scratch is a lot work. It's not only about creating content for it. Good promotion of such website also would be needed that people would find this content. So, if it's possible, I think it would be best to use popular platform which is available already, like Bitcoin Wiki.
4963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2020, 10:21:39 PM
EPL is planning to continue season, but what if government simply won't allow to do that? French and Netherlands leagues also planned it, but their government decision forced them to end season at current phase. And situation in this countries looks much better than in UK. Meanwhile in UK number of new cases still aren't getting smaller. I'm afraid that such scenario as we saw in France and Netherlands is possible.
4964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 28, 2020, 10:06:31 AM
Why you think that's difficult to find tracks for reverse races?
Because I tried to find information about such tracks and didn't managed to do it. Only found this article, but it requires paid subscription to read it:
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/reverse-track-layouts-analysis-silverstone/4777399/
I think that most current tracks would be unsafe to use in reverse because they don't have things like safety zones or run-offs if some accident will happen.
4965  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BETA] BPIP Extension - user info add-on / extension for Firefox, Chrome, et al on: April 28, 2020, 10:01:36 AM
Can someone explain what description "archived" under username on BPIP means? Things like "inactive" or "banned" is obvious, butvI didn't found anything about it.

This guy really think out of the box. Because who could have thought about it. Without big budget he achieved great results. He got some good publicity in news media and it was obviously great promotion for Monero. BTW, is it possible to watch this movie online? Cheesy
4968  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fundraising threads on behalf of COVID-19. Don't trust, verify. on: April 27, 2020, 10:28:56 PM
Unfortunately, this pandemy is just another great chance for scammers to get easy money. Many people donate people to random people without doing any research. Personally, I donate money online quite rarely, because often it's impossible to check that everything is legit and that money will reach these who need it.
I can't access link in OP anymore, so probably they just deleted topic. I'm on phone now, so I can't check, did they managed to collect money?
4969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 27, 2020, 10:13:48 PM
France F1 GP has been canceled, the target is to run 15 races in the second half of the year.

Do you know if some GPs are homologated to reverse tracks?
Even in such ocassion, I won't miss French GP much, it was so boring.
It's difficult to find which F1 tracks can be used in reverse, so probably there is only few such tracks. Mainly tgere is talks about Silverstone, but even they aren't licensed to held race in reverse track.
4970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: really exited for this... on: April 26, 2020, 11:11:19 PM
Which sportsbetting platform?

Liga continues despite the Corona. Is Moscow not affected? This is tennis there must be people going here and probably no social distancing.  Very risky. But this must be irresistible for a tennis fan that they'd likely enjoy even when Love is Zero.  Grin
Moscow is affected and there is strict quarantine in this city, so, it's very strange to see table tennis tournament in action. I tried to make research about it, but I failed to find any information about players or broadcast of tournament. Probably it was made only for betting purpose.
And I see some more such tournaments in countries which in lockdown. Like golf in USA, table tennis in Ukraine and Armenia, short hockey in Russia or exhibition tennis somewhere.
4971  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitsdoubler.net scam or legit ? on: April 26, 2020, 10:57:48 PM
Well, I think I can say that's scam only after I saw name of website. C'mon, Bitcoin doubler in 2020? Even 5 years ago such scam schemes were such primtive and I'm surprised that they still can find victims investing their BTC.
This website isn't exceptional. Nothing special, just another obvious scam. But if you want to lose your BTC, you're free to invest...
4972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 26, 2020, 04:53:33 PM
Today Helmut Marko from Red Bull F1 team talk about 2 races in the radio at 5 and 12 July at Spielberg, and think that's all possible for the start in the Formula 1 saison.

But i don't know how good this is for the sport, 2 races at one grand prix?
It's obvious that even if this season will begin, it will be very strange. Two races at one track isn't perfect scenario, but it's better than nothing. Some GP's like Australia or Monaco won't be held this year, so Liberty Media want to make as many as possible races in safe locations like Spielberg. Don't know about this race, but I read that they wan't to make 2 GP's at Silverstone. One will be on usual track and another on opposite direction. That would be interesting.

If you are bored you can watch right now an Esport GP on Silverstone with many F1 drivers and retired drivers there are also drivers from other categories.

https://www.twitch.tv/charlesleclerc

some of them are

Leclerc
Button
Liuzzi
Didn't watched this, but yesterday I watched Indycar virtual race which was won by Land Noriis. Ialso watched Formula-E and NASCAR virtual races. Personally, it was more fun and interesting than watching virtual F1, at some moments I felt like I watch real race Smiley. Maybe because they are using better iRacing simulator, instead of F1 2019
4973  Other / Meta / Re: Icons should be banned from topic title on: April 25, 2020, 11:08:43 PM
I don't agree that these icons should be banned. Ok, maybe you don't like icons, but it's your personal opinion. I also don't like it much, but it doesn't disturb me. I think using limited number of icons can may look your title nicer and more attractive. But obviously, overuse of icons like on bounty board looks very unprofessional and may cause eye cancer. It's same like use of emojis on social networks. If you use few, it's ok, but when you overuse it, it will look childish. I don't think we need to talk about banning icons because if it's used correctly, it's quite useful feature.
4974  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kim Chen Yn on: April 25, 2020, 10:30:51 PM
There is still no confirmation that this news is true. But it's obvious that Kim had health problems. He is just 36 years old, but how he looks - he is so fat. And he relatives like father and grandpa had serious ilnesses like heart disease, diabete. So it might be same with him. If he is still alive, probably his condition is bad, because he is gone from public for long time.
Question, who will replace him? He don't have children, so maybe it can be his sister. It has to be someone from Kim family dinasty, or it may be someone from army. But no matter who will become leader, I doubt that there will be big changes in North Korea.
4975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: April 24, 2020, 11:28:11 PM
My life haven't changed so much. I still go to work, so I'm not forced to spend days at home. I'm trying to excercise a bit - ride bike, running and lose some extra weight. But social life obviously changed too much. I can't go out with my friends, go to public events like sports, concerts cinema.
Sometimes it feels like I live in some science fiction movie or bad dream and when I will wake up, everything will be over. But seems that worst in past already and government lifting quarantine restrictions step by step.
This lockdown have huge influence to my gambling activities. I rarely play dice, slots and other games on online casinos, I prefer sports betting. And you know how much sports in action we have these days. My betting volume probably decreased by 90%...
4976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA : Complete Domestic Competitions! on: April 24, 2020, 11:15:38 PM
Netherlands Eredivisie ended season without crowning champion and no relegation because government restricted to play until September 1st, so they had no other choice. And it's really sad.
There is talks that La Liga must be forced to play without spectators until 2021 or for one year. Similar talks about Serie A or Bundesliga. I'm not really sure why such strict restrictions is needed. But they can't even know what will happen after month or two. So, maybe instead of putting deadline in such far future, they should react to situation step by step. Maybe in few months it will be safe enough to allow limited number of people with distance in the stands. But now they just put deadline without knowing how good or bad situation will be in September or October.

I wonder if the players will play with masks and other protection gears. Can they even avoid body contacts in such competitive sporting events? They probably shouldn't be doing this if they take the health organizations safety measures recommendations seriously.
Offcourse no. How you imagine players playing with masks? First of all, wearing mask would be pointless thing because football is not contactless sport and you can't keep distance there. Second, they would be tested before games.

4978  Other / Meta / Re: Can we trust user that spread false and dangerous news on COVID19? on: April 23, 2020, 07:30:24 PM
Welcome to Politics & Society board Smiley. As I remember, some users been posting such stuff there long time before pandemy. Some users just love to make conspiracy theories about everything - 5G, vaccines, masons, flat earth and etc. They even use reference for their statements, usually it's random unknown blog or some Youtube videos.
I'm not sure what can be done with these users. Theymos values freedom of speech, so censorship probably isn't an option. Maybe using facts and some common sense could be an option to counter their nonsense.
4979  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New BitcoinTalk Clone? on: April 23, 2020, 07:19:02 PM
Since when we started to call other forums about Bitcoin as clones of Bitcointalk? From what I see, it's not phishing Bitcointalk website. Also, it doesn't looks same like Bitcointalk. It's just another forum about Bitcoin, out of many. And I think their domain name is terrible. It's almost impossible to attract decent number of visitors with such name.
4980  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some question about trust summary in different sections. on: April 22, 2020, 08:15:35 PM
IMO, trust ratings should be shown in all boards. Maybe it's not essential in boards where no trades are being made, but it's still important. For example, there is user who is posting on Beginners & help and some discussion boards with unsafe online vanity address generator link in signature. Visible rating would work as alert in boards where users is vulnerable.
And BTW, what extension do you use which makes your username purple.
