Any project could be seen as a scam project as they have almost all lost value. You can't know if a project is a scam or not just by the price of its coins.
It can have a fake volume of trading to attract people. The volume of trading of some coins is near 0 now, but some projects are still alive. And some dead projects are still being traded.
You need a lot of luck to find the good project.

No, i don't think 2019 will be better than 2017. It is too soon to speculate that 2019 is going to be better. And we don't know if we have reach the bottom or not.

Because of pump and dump schemes mostly and because of the dev team. Some teams have left the project dead after a pump and dump scheme.
At first, i was attracted by some projects because the team did communicate well about what they were doing and because it was very professional.
But with the time passing, you discover that there is no future for the coin.
I think i end up with shit coins because of greed. As we all hope that we are going to find the next Bitcoin or Ethereum.

If Bitcoin goes to $2000, other cryptocurrencies are going to fall lower too. They are going to lose at least 30% of their value i guess. Will it happen? I don't know, but it is possible.
Only coins with a lot of followers are going to survive.

Yes, hodl only for true believers. But it is not the worst time to hodl now as crypto market is not at its peak. Trading for a short term can be very difficult and you need the time to do it properly.

Yes, you still can get rich with cryptos. But not immediately. It depends on your trading skills and your patience. A lot of people got poorer from last year dump. There is surely more poor people in crypto than rich one like in the real world.

You can't control the way investors are going to react after the release of a token on an exchange. There is always some people who are going to dump their tokens.
And some people will sell with a loss because of the fear that the price will drop more. Only a big demand for the token can avoid the dump of the price.
But the project should really be promising for it to succeed.

Investing in ICO is still very risky. It is certainly better to invest now compare to last year. But it is really risky as the price of tokens can fall really low after their release. it depends on the investors and on the ICO project and team.

I don't know when we will see a bull run. But i don't think it will happen so fast. It maybe also depends on the world economy which is not great now.

The new coin should not be too new if you want to know its trustworthyness. And some coins after one year disappear. Some coins don't completely disappear, but they are being traded very rarely.
You should look at the coin forum, reddit, etc... Look if there is more development or more work from the team to make the coin more known to people.
The more users a coin have, the more chance it can be trusted.

We all wish that a bull run is going to come. But it is maybe too soon and could come later. For the moment, the bull run doesn't seem to come.

You should not buy a coin just because a fork. And the fork of Ethereum won't give you another coin like Bitcoin Cash. It is to reduce the mining reward and other things. Yes, there is 2 new projects to fork Ethereum. But they could be fake projects to steal Ethereum. And i doubt that thoses teams are better than the Ethereum team.

It could be TRON. I don't know if it is just hype or not. But today prices of coins did fall a little. Investing in cryptos is still very risky.

Panic selling affects the market with a dump of the price. You surely have already seen it at the end of last year. There were more sellers than buyers, that's why the price gets dumped.
It affects investors as some might think to sell their coins as the price of their coins is falling. It is difficult to not be affected by a panic sell.

ETH, ADA and XRP are very good choices for a long term investment. It is safer to stay in the top 10. You can potentially earn more profits in an undiscovered new cryptocurrency, but it is really risky. |

It is nice to see that Ethereum has returned to its 2nd place at coinmarketcap. I hope this year will be a good year for cryptos. We need to be patient.

Mining is not profitable anymore. Or maybe it is for some coins or for ASIC miners? It uses too much electricity and it can make your computer die quicker than on a ordinary use.
