501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: October 31, 2021, 12:30:47 PM
Binance Coin (BNB) is the most popular coin currently in the crypto space. Binance has a network, namely the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), which is the most widely used by companies for their projects because of the relatively low cost. In addition, Binance also has an Exchange with a large number of transactions every day. October 2021, seems to be a very good month for Binance because of the pretty good price movement. Now that BNB is at $526, will BNB reach $1K?

Well, this is crypto space and I believe everything is possible and Actually, the BNB price already reached $677 about 6 months ago, so that $1K per BNB price speculation is also possible and who knows it will achieve before this year-ends. Anyway, it was just my opinion, after all, it will still depend on the market situation.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To the Moon, To the Moon, Eventually people got bored fo moon landing!!! on: October 30, 2021, 11:10:34 AM
We are now reaching the bar of 13000 coins on Coinmarketcap,
I wonder out of that number how many tokens/coins you know are really real case use of blockchain and tokens futuristic capabilities? I think i heard of only one that is building now.

How much more Tokens can the industry welcome without succumbing to it's own lack of interest.
100 meme coins a week can only take us so far in the seriousness of this industry.

Do you have your way to find any relevancy in such a cloud of crap?

That was already a huge number of cryptocurrencies in existence, and Im sure that number will continue to grow because people have never stopped adding projects till today, But I am certain also that most of that numbers are the dead, useless coins/tokens and less than 1 percent has a true demand, use cases, and game-changer functions most of it will eventually die in the process because they have no real use cases no products and services to support and drive the demand of its token so most it will die and abandon.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why LTC stuck on same price range? on: October 30, 2021, 10:43:56 AM
LTC accepted all over the world but it's price still low
same as last 4 years
why it's stuck on same price range?

IMO, I think the main reason was there's not enough demand or hype to support the price pump because if we base the trend today, most of the heavily pump cryptocurrencies are only driven by hype due to heavily marketing promotions or something it was introduced by famous personalities like Elon, and so I guess the Litecoin team should initiate and apply new marketing strategies in order to drive the hype and demand on LTC and eventually the price pump will follow.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the journey of BNB and ETH been smooth from when it first appeared until now on: October 30, 2021, 10:30:53 AM
Among the many good value coins on the crypto market, only a few of the Altcoins of particular concern are Ethereum and Binance Coin. If Bitcoin is like a king, then the two coins are like a queen. Ethereum and Binance are on a good track and currently BNB is at $512 and ETH $4.3K. Reasonable price in my opinion. Has the journey of BNB and ETH been smooth from when it first appeared until now?

I think not all times are smooth and favorable in both cryptocurrencies Ethereum and Binance, because Ethereum was also experienced a big problem during the DAO hacking incident not just involving the price dump but also down to its core development that resulted in a controversial hard fork, between Ethereum and Ethereum classic while Binance also experiencing many setbacks from hacking to many regulatory issues around the world so there's no such thing as smooth sailing for those two above mentioned cryptocurrencies.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slovenia getting ready to tax crypto. Will others follow? on: October 29, 2021, 04:23:51 PM
Slovenia is one of the Cryptocurrency Tigers around Europe. Last April the Finance Ministry of Slovenia proposed a law to levy a 10% tax on all fiat-to-crypto conversions and cryptocurrency transfers. Now the country is getting ready to start taxing cryptos. Given that this will work out as an experiment in the eyes of several countries if everything goes well many other countries in Europe should follow.

Thing is, it puzzles me how are they going to tax cryptos... what sort of technics will the country develop to track all cryptocurrencies in circulation?

IMHO, I think it will be a very challenging task for Slovenian tax authorities, and it is a very difficult thing to do that all crypto transactions will be taxed, Anyway, it's too early to judge them so let them work first and conduct that experiment and if the government of Slovenia will successfully implement that plan to tax all crypto transactions, I'm, sure many countries will follow it and use the same method as well.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gearing up for alt season on: October 29, 2021, 04:12:02 PM
Altcoin season is coming, the type we got in 2017 4th quarter to 2018 1st quarter so kindly chill me your holdings, what do you think will be the next 10x coins to hold right now? Low market cap or mid market cap coins?

I'm hoping that the so-called Altcoin season will happen in that predicted time frame so that many people will gain profit and be happy, But let's don't forget that the crypto market is unpredictable everything can happen without any warning so think ahead. Anyway, have you noticed that the Altcoin price is already gaining much traction like Eth, Solana, and many others for me that was the indication of another trend (altcoin season), that's why it's better to prepare now, and about the 10X coins, I think I will choose the low-market cap coins/tokens compared to those high marketcap coins because they are already expensive and that was my opinion.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: October 29, 2021, 03:47:41 PM
I have all of these coins:

ETH 40%
CARDANO 20%
POKALDOT 20%
TERRA LUNA 5%
THETA 15%
Avax: 10%

Are my coins going to last is it likely?

IMO, I think we are going to speculate to answer that question, the reason is we don't know what happens in the future, it is five years from now, I know Ethereum since 2015 and no doubt it survived in the last 5 years but I don't know about others, let say Polkadot I have a confidence with this Blockchain but I don't know if it will survive for another 5 years and beyond, just like the others ADA, LUNA, THETA, and Avax, while of the six cryptocurrencies that were mentioned I believe Ethereum and PolkaDot have more highest chance to survive in the next 5 years.

510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Make Sure to Stake your Tokens or You'll Miss Out on Great Passive Income on: October 28, 2021, 12:23:49 PM
I have been hodling my tokens for quite some time like a diamond hand, but unfortunately I never really got into staking until recently. The APYs of staking your cryptocurrency are insanely high considering the relatively (relative to crypto market) low risk it involves, and if you are someone who likes to hodl their tokens anyways then there is almost no risk in it for you.

Before you can start staking it's important to know that there are a lot of different types of staking protocols in this space. Many staking protocols have a lock up period, some have no lock up periods, and a few like pStake provide liquid staking opportunities.

 - A staking DApp with a lock up period means that after you stake your tokens on it you will not be able to unstake them for a certain time period

 - A staking DApp with no lock up period means that you will allowed to unstake your tokens anytime after you stake them

 - A staking DApp that provides liquid staking is one where you can stake your tokens to take advantage of the great APYs on staking protocols, and still be able to utilize your tokens on other DApps in DeFi.

I think that most cryptocurrency enthusiasts are not happy with that so-called passive income offered by staking because it was too low because it was based on (APY) even me, Im not satisfied with it that's why I withdraw mine and sold it and use the proceeds to accumulate other cryptocurrencies that I believe it will give more returns than just staking and it is true lately, But I agree that holding crypto by speculation is risky compared to staking but it doesn't mean it happens all the time so let it happen when it happens, and in terms of glitches I believe it is just an isolated incident and doesn't directly affect most of the platforms that offered staking services.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that airdrops never work ... on: October 28, 2021, 11:51:43 AM
IMO, I believe not all airdrop is just wasted, what I believe is it depends on what purpose of that airdrop, the OP was presented a stellar based token, I can say that there's a good airdrop out there in the Stellar network like the Aqua Network (Aqua) the Airdrop was created to add more Liquidity to XLM Network and they give it for free in all Stellar DEx users the distribution claim was monthly and because I was using stellar DEx before I was qualified and claim 4884 Aqua tokens monthly from August -December the Aqua token price was stabilized at $0.0049 per/Aqua so not bad at all. and with that current price if you sell it you can claim $27 of free money monthly in 5 month period by doing nothing.

Many working platforms have done it without hurting the price of their token just because of the airdrop, like UNI of Uniswap, LON of TokenLon, DYDX of DYDX, Inch, and some others I have received some of this airdrop they don't need to manipulate and lowered the price just to rid off the weeds just look at them now. if you have confidence in your project it will grow naturally even with or without airdrops. just saying!

512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Shiba Inu has been rising in the last week - RobinHood petition on: October 28, 2021, 11:30:25 AM
IMHO, I believe there's nothing new about it and this is how crypto works and react to such good news, the investors think that it might be a good opportunity to speculate Shiba Inu and hoard it because of that possible Robinhood listing, then that's the reason why it was pumped so fast, but I think the risk is also high because of overbought issue Im sure there will be a sideways in that sudden pump due to that so-called petition about possible Robinhood listing. that's why those who join the FOMO run just keep an eye on the situation.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 27, 2021, 01:36:42 PM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?

IMHO, I think in reality it's a joke because it was a meme coin at first, and that was her purpose, but things have changed now because many investors are willing to gamble and pour real money into the meme coins that's why meme coins become liquid, so it is not a joke anymore because it has already a big-money involve in the process thats why meme coins are gaining much value.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A curious case of mine on: October 27, 2021, 01:11:31 PM
Guys I've been using uniswap and pancake swap for some time now but something a thought always come to my head, is connecting your wallet to these two Dex platforms safe? Is connecting wallet to these platforms revealing one private keys?

I guess DEX is safer compared to a centralized exchange because back in the early days when Dex's are not so popular compared today, or maybe I can say that during EtherDelta/ForkDelta days, Im using those exchanges without using Metamask and purely using a private key, but until now im still using the same address and I can say it was still reliable and safe because nothing happens to my wallet. meaning no expose private keys or whatsoever that's why I was convinced that decentralized exchanges are safe.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: October 26, 2021, 01:38:38 PM
I found a news that the Shiba Inu commuity is not happy with Elon Musk. $SHIB crashed after Musk revealed he didn’t own it and only had BTC, ETH and DOGE. Elon Musk has a Shiba Inu puppy at home. Elon Musk has joked about Shiba Inu, but Elon Musk doesn’t hodl Shiba Inu.

Replying to one of the many Shiba Inu accounts on Crypto Twitter, the famous Elon Musk confirmed that he didn’t own Shiba Inu, despite being a highly influential figure for that community.

I think this will have an effect with the Shiba price but not a big effect because Shiba is still at 0.000042$ at price even if Elon musk revealed he doesn't own Shiba what was your thoughts on this folks?

IMO, I think there is no issue regarding that statement, Elon Musk was just honest to say that, the problem came from those people who assumed and fooled themselves, that Elon was held some Shib in her portfolio, don't get me wrong I'm just saying what I observe, I have also some Shib in my holdings but honestly speaking I have not bothered with that Elon Musk statement for me it's nothing that's why let it vanish.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana had a big network fail recently - why decentralization matters on: October 26, 2021, 01:20:42 PM
Solana suffered from high volatility after the network became flooded with transactions. It was because the Solana Mainnet Beta experienced a massive increase in transaction load, peaking at 400,000 TPS. These transactions flood the transaction processing queue, and the lack of prioritization of critical network messages causes the network to start branching. we can monitor : https://solscan.io/txs for transactions and status of Solana failure and major network problems.

IMO, I think it is a technical problem and I have no expertise about it but based on the information that you give the Solana Network was very congested at that time. meaning the system was flooded with more (400,000Tps) Just imagine it was a huge transaction in the queue that waiting to be processed correct me if im wrong, if the Network is not designed to handle that huge volume of transactions what can we expect? I can't find any hole in relation to decentralization/centralization it is a simple system glitch that needs to be improved and fixed so it's not an issue of decentralization/centralization which is portrayed by the OP. I believe that the Solana community is already enlightened about that glitch thats why instead of going down the SOL price achieve another ATH.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: October 25, 2021, 11:12:13 AM
There's a friend about Bitcoin last 2 years who have no interest in it but I was surprised when he came to me last week to tell me what he need to know about Bitcoin. I asked him why the sudden change of heart, he told me about the testimony he hear from someone and how he would have made enough profit effortlessly.

He's still a newbie. My question is, is there a way or link for to explain Bitcoin to newbies?

Apart from the forum rules and regulations is there a thread on this forum that explains in detail the whole concept of crypto currency on this forum?

Actually explaining about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to newbies is not an easy task, you must observe patience while doing it, especially if the person has no knowledge about the internet and computer functions, Im always encountered that problem in my country, and they always back to me and ask about it even in the night time which is a hassle, in my opinion, I already give them the important link to visit and other useful information as a guide to learn but still, they want to try in actual that's why I have no choice but to teach them in actual one by one.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: October 24, 2021, 11:14:19 AM
There is a big hype for all NFT & Gaming Tokens these days, I wonder how many person can actually say they own any art forms under, same for Game tokens.

I am sure there are way more buyers of the tokens than there are users!

Yes, you're right the hype on NFT's and Gaming tokens are real that's why many investors are riding it, and it's not new to this industry, because every time there was a new concept of crypto innovation the hype will surely follow and it will be flooded with speculators just like what happening now in NFT's and gaming tokens. it is a good indicator that the crypto industry is ever-expanding and continuously thriving.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is it difficult to apply TA on altcoins with low marketcap on: October 23, 2021, 02:43:47 PM
How low is low? You didn't name the altcoin and the market cap.

not too low, more or less a coin with a marketcap of $100M and a trading volume of $10M. one of them Banana(apeswap) #368 on coinmarketcap. I made an analysis for this coin a few weeks ago. At that time I saw the price had reached the resistance point, and I bought it. but so far the price has not gone up.

Sometimes things don't work as intended to be, But who knows it will be bounce-back soon just stay focused and have extra patience because cryptocurrency investment needs a lot of patience, Anyway I think ApeSwap Dex was working well and their banana token price is also stable, so just wait and hold otherwise if you are tired of doing it there's a lot of prospect in the market especially in the low Marketcap rank.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 23, 2021, 02:24:24 PM
Sounds alarming, But I think that was only an isolated incident because in reality no one talks or shares any info to the public that they have possessed a lot of cryptocurrencies particularly Bitcoin. because if that happens the government will after you and tax your holdings, second is you might be in danger of being robbed, After all, many bad people are already knowledgeable about the fortune of cryptocurrencies that's why no crypto users in their right mind to do that in the public.
