I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:
-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.
Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.
All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.
I think you should not switch to holding any other altcoin. Bitcoin is the biggest money, if you can not feel safe then do you think ETH is safe? please calm down dude. You are smarter than that and continue to think optimally. You can temporarily not look at the price charts of bitcoin and other work. That will help you get better mood. |

We can not see a slow recovery, both the market is down and the price of ETH can never be increased. That is the rule of the crypto market, go down all or go up all. These days the bitcoin prices are rising and falling over 1000$ in just minutes and have become highly unpredictable way more than before.
Does this make trading more difficult right now?
This is a bitcoin feature and we should be familiar with them. That made some psychopaths dare not invest in bitcoin and give up everything. Sorry to say you have not been able to participate in signature campaigns yet. you should have Jr.member level or higher to be able to participate in some of the signature campaign. I need your opinion about COB. I was thinking COB is so cheap at the moment, it's maybe time to jump in .If you consider all those platform token who launch their own token .I imagine COB is under value. Tell me what do you think !?
When you are a trader, you should not pay too much attention to the cost of them. Please analyze the market and their ideas and technology. In addition to that, you need to find out about their staff, the credible people that will make that altcoin price increase over time. I really do not know much about COB, but I'd like to recommend you to learn more thoroughly or to consult other members. |

Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.
Do not overestimate altcoin. I was rich thanks to altcoin. I do not invest in bitcoin, I just focus on investing in altcoin. Because you only need a little capital and you can already invest in altcoin. Every time the market is recovered, my profit is usually $ 9-11k. I have my own strategy to get that profit. Maybe you did not have a good strategy for altcoin and you had to get frustrated. |
