As I am making this reply, the price of Bitcoin based on CoinMarketCap.com is $3,214.71 and there is still a possibility that it might be climbing some more this coming week. However, some are already expecting some corrections to happen soon. I am sure that many Bitcoin holders are celebrating right now because they never listed to so many FUD trending just before the feared August 1. Now, those who converted their Bitcoin must be learning a big lesson here...fear and panic can get us nowhere.
The next question for Bitcoin is: Will it be trying to breach the $4,000 level soon or will it stabilized at its current level for some days or probably weeks before making any surging moves? Well, only time and the market can tell but it is always mesmerizing to speculate.
I am almost sure that soon we will see a price drop to 2700 dollars. And after this downgrade again there will be a jump up to 3800 and above. I hope to have time to buy even more coins We have same feeling. This just like a deja Vu on what happened when bitcoin price first hit 3000$ mark. I already sold my BCH to BTC and some waves in exchange. I'm so lucky that I choose the right coin. BTC and waves is already pump right now while BCH is going down I'm very happy that my decision is right on abandoning BCH.

When the blockchain hard forked, I did not care about splitting my coins. But when I saw it was trading at more than $500, I decided to split them later and to wait for the price to go higher. But the price dived and now I regret it.

I want to wait for the price pump because there are a lot of humors that is spreading that BCC is having a good price. So after I got some I store it in my wallet. After that I read some of the comments here about the fork and the new alt coin and was surprised by it. I quickly send my BCCs in an exchanger and sold it. It may not be that good price because I don't have a lot of bitcoins but getting some BTCs for free is amazing. So yeah, I dumped my Bitcoin Cash because the users are not interested in it. Actually you made the right decision. Bitcoin cash is now dumping and hype is already over. The greedy chinese supporter of BCC was failed on monopolizing BCH price by hyping the price. In the end. BCH was still being thrown by all holder for free BTC. But thanks to them, we have free pizza for there shit scheme. |

I'm on the same boat and I was also considering opening a thread here, but so far reports of this happening aren't all that widespread.
The difference is I've had my account for years, used them successfully in the past, always had 2FA and never had an email regarding any unauthorized login attempt. So I have no clue regarding what's happening.
The worst part of this is that now I can't even withdraw my funds, so they've basically taken my funds as a hostage... Let's see how this plays out.
PS: I've successfully managed to withdraw from falling exchanges in the past... So something's definitely wrong on Bittrex.
Yeah, it sucks. In the first place, why would they give me deposit link if my account was disabled? I could have gone with Kraken and have over 9BTC now. In regards to your issue specifically, Kraken hasn't yet opened BCC deposits edit: one user here suggests asking them for help in their slack channel, but it seems to be closed. At least I can't seem to be able to join. Bittrex is now doubling their security after the fork ends. My account has been disable the withdrawal. I just create a support ticket regarding my problem and they give me an instruction to verify my account. Luckily, I managed to withdraw my balance. Just be patient because they are just updating their system due to the fork. |

haha i know what you mean to say.. there are two points.. one is tempted to sell and second is the need to convert it to fiat currency. even though if one sell BTC another will be hodoring it and so it goes on and on ... and i hope so too  Hodling is just a myth that pass through different generation. All people don't have enough patience to resist selling BTC while it's price is expensive. Maybe today they are holding then tomorrow they just sell it when they need it. |

5K is going to take a lot of time and it is not going to be easy. I would be very happy if 5K is achieved by the end of this year. Anyway I don't care much. Ever since the start of this year, Bitcoin has given us close to 250% returns.
I think the 5k price is over rated speculation for this year. I'm actually surprise that BTC hit ATH in the middle of the year. It is very early against my prediction which will happened at the end of the year. |

It's not "instant" , Instant is like winning in lottery or someone send in your wallet a huge BTC or ETH amount accidentally. I don't think so. Blockchain.info is an online wallet, by definition, all online wallets are prone to all kind of attacks. You should go to www.bitcoin.org and get a full node. You probably don't have the time to do that now tho, unless your computer and internet speed is fast enough to download the blockchain before august 1st arrives. The next best thing to that is probably Electrum, so download Electrum and send all of your bitcoins there. Im not sure at all how to access BCC from Electrum tho. Blockchain.info support a public key wallet and they are same as electrum. Blockchain.info is a safe container of BTC for the upcoming fork. FYI, all wallets are online wallet. I think you mean web wallet or exchange wallet.? |

You didn't realized that the premine is needed to do the airdrop. Where is the scam, I have free coins ( ok need to have avatar and a signature..so what) I don't have to buy them. And it isn't listed on exchange so where the dev could dump the premine exactly?
How about non-airdrop people who will buy from market and then coin turn into scam after dev dump, so don't think only about your little self. This post make sense. Many air drop from different ICO right now and it is obviously bait setup by the devs. Many people received free token think that the coin is legit. But it obviously scam that only sugar coated.
