Let's all write to Bleutrade and Felipe asking to add TECHCOIN? This exchange has 10,000 members and is growing rapidly.

Felipe and Rodrigo are the owners.

Exchange - @Bleutrade
Felipe McMont - @mcmont
Rodrigo Henrik - @rodrigohenrik

Copy to @jluizg

Thank you for showing your support, the more community, better development for TECH. Sent them a personal message, requesting to add TECH. Having tested it back when it first opened, great to see it after months & hope they consider TECH on their markets Grin

how does a POS pool work ?

I use gaia's multipool on and off, it's easy to use. could deff use a lil tweeking (when I do the math it usually works out that I should have just bought coins myself instead of spending the same btc on renting a miner)

I actually just started testing it myself a few days ago, some great development going on there Wink It does need some extra things to make it more user friendly, but I'm sure there will be updates & many things added. Would be nice to see any kind of live stats, but looks great for it just being build.

A PoS pool is somewhat along the lines of a multipool, just takes calculations, then divides it on each payout. Hopefully we'll see more of these, ones that build live stats & are easy to use.

P.S. Renting a miner will never be a better option than mining yourself (same with cloudmining), you're paying them for their equipment or power & some far more than others. Not saying it's not worth it, just the same if you were to use any other services (examples= change your own oil, upgrade the RAM in your PC, paint your own house). Always a fine line between DIY & paying for outsourced Wink

Happy late TECH Tuesday, not sure what's going on with evtrmm & the #Stake2Win. Might not be any type of incentive to keep doing it, will update the OP later when I get a reply on if it's still part of TECH.

The Crypto ID block explorer has been updated with Allcrypt, thanks fairglu.
P.S. I also asked if he would add the expiration date for the community as well.

506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TECH] Wallet v1.2 Update | #Stake2Win | Giveaways | Hardware Wallets on: January 03, 2015, 11:01:30 PM

so TECH is on allcrypt? thats better than nothing Wink I don't get a lot of the technical jargon like coding... etc but I can tell that you guys have put a lot of effort in to TECH since the take over and it's a shame we haven't been able to get any real momentum yet.

Yes, thanks to cecilbdemented & all his hard work to make sure there was a backup exchange. There has been quite a bit going on around altcoins & crypto in general, which none of us are new to crypto. So it may have actual been a choice to keep a coin that is building, off one of the risky exchanges, if you didn't notice my sig? I first heard about crypto in 2010, but did start actually learning about it til 2012 & having tested 100's of coins, pools & exchanges which a good % ended in a loss of testing (biggest one is being a hardware guy, but testing cloud mining Huh ). There's a thread that asks how many hours you have on this site, thought about posting it & had to refrain a few times (lets just say fulltime). I was never really into reading news, but over the last year & getting very interested in what software/hardware ideas this could help has been very knowledgeable.

The other day I read "the story of bob surplus" and it was a real eye opener for me, I have never been a part of a pump group so before I was only going off my presumptions of how they work etc.  reading the post and reflecting on the last year I've been in crypto it came really obvious how much they influence... not just their group but any day trader trying to make a buck, they follow wherever the spotlight is pointing that day/week  (right now they seem to be moving from xpy to sbit)  so any solid coin that isn't associated with them has a heck of a time getting noticed... and being such a low number of coins and the bad start thanks to the ditching dev TECH is bound for an up hill climb.

That's the thing, some people are in this for profit only & some are in it to create something that can actually be used (some both). I know nothing about markets or wall street trading (if I did, it was to hold it like a 1-5 year stock/bond & not sell @ a 20% gain. Leave the wall street traders to that, because you don't want a certain  skillset doing the wrong skillset), which is probably why most coins without people in each area fail/brake. One flaw with that though, someone comes in & hardforks it & you come back to check on said investment a year later to see "sorry but you missed out"?

//Crypto is getting better, but it's also getting worst & only time will tell what the world does with it Undecided

I will keep my wallet staking as long as there is a market open for TECH, if anyone gets any good ideas and need some help please don't hesitate to ask me. I'm not a coder or anything but will help were I can

Thanks, every post counts & without a community posting... Development goes elsewhere, building something for shadows of an empty crowd isn't a way to build that I know of. If it's the Moderated thread, we can keep posting to the old one & this one was created for the new OP only to keep everyone always updated (new threads are easy to create, but community is not).
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TECH] Wallet v1.2 Update | #Stake2Win | Giveaways | Hardware Wallets on: January 03, 2015, 04:51:25 PM
Congratulations, TECH is out from Bittrex!  Sad

Message from Allcrypt:

"Deposits and withdrawals will be delayed. No new blocks have been received in 12 minutes. Average block time for the last 250 blocks has been 6.05 minutes."

Did you get a chance to review this "full" thread then, a few of us tried really hard to gain a good community. I'm not talking about a few post or hours, there was months of rebuilding done to build the TECHie community. The best possible thing we could do was get on Allcrypt (knowing Bittrex was only costing investors & not having the ability to help it without an ICO or development funds), which is a great exchange "-the weekly Bittrex fees". This is not an ICO/IPO/ITO coin, there wasn't any development funds (aside from a few $ on a donation pool that lasted a few weeks, which was sent to the other two developers for website/wallet coding) & we have put our own efforts/funds into building ideas to help anyone who invested on the launch.

//TECH is almost 6 months old, with 1000's of coins/tokens/apps & new ones launching everyday. Time is still being volunteered for the TECHie community, but not much without seeing some others in the community show their support.

Didn't mean to sound so harsh, just pissed that such a great coin (syncs awesome, wallet is fantastic, etc.) won't sync for me. Been trying to get it to sync so I can stake to keep chain moving. I wish I had the skills needed to help this out, but I don't. Thanks for updating nodes. Will add to my conf file.

It's not you, just seeing the term being thrown around in the forum on several threads is all Wink Just like most on here, I started with ZERO knowledge (aside from almost a decade of hardware) & learned that there's always a way to fix something broken. Most people don't see what is being built here (crypto in general) & with all the coins (applications) out now, there's more work in the world than ever before Cool

Fuck my wallet won't sync now. I guess nodes are dead and thus this coin. A terrible shame!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, well just spent hours upon hours of looking into it & the wallet will sync (with good nodes). It does appear to have more than one chain, seeing the blocks jump can only mean that someone is mining on another chain/fork Huh I would say that someone with a little more experience will have to look @ it, good thing there's no exchange Cool Also not sure if they're able to merge it with this chain @ any point in time, really good thing there's no exchange!

**Updated the nodes in the revision of the optional OP**

this is good to hear about new developer for new coin , i still keep this coin although all market is delisted

I'm not a new developer, been watching FIRECOIN since the launch & started helping Tom14Cat14 with the ANN months ago. He has been unwilling to reply to any messages via here or Skype, so little I'm able to do without access to the website/twitter/reddit/etc... Starting new accounts would just be a waste of time & I will just keep an updated OP (ANN) for the community. The website is still up, some of the info is still useful & not sure who has access to update it? Just going to have to wait & see, thinking that someday I'll get a reply Undecided

Hi!

Glad to see some works here! Use my russian translate because the translation that you posted in your OP, made on GoogleTrans.

My russian translate:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=765715.0

I will add it, but looks quite outdated & not very active? None of the translation threads are up to date, sure that Tom14Cat14 paid bounties for a few one time posts? He really did try very hard to gain a good community around FIRE (starting other coins could have been his mistake), but sometimes in business you pay for a one time job that falls apart the next day, then have to pay again just to fix said issues. Things are starting to get better with developers giving bounties (contracts, Etc...), the just send & not actually double checking the work is the biggest mistake most developers make! Would you pay someone to paint your house after the first coat, when it takes a minimum of 3 coats? What's to stop them from just leaving after getting paid & only doing 33.3% of the work?

So is a revival coming about? I will help where I can.

It all depends on the community & previous dev/promoter, sent a few PM's & also skype'd with no reply Undecided Just wanted to post an updated OP, since it's been my updates for months now & trying to help those who bought in on the launch doesn't look like it's going to happen Undecided Just have to wait & see, I'm sure they didn't just leave the coin & have some kind of master plan going on in the background Undecided

Trying to take a little time away from 24/7 crypto, then a new article is posted that really enlightened the hardware guy inside  Cool The hardware is where its @, but also just a small part of creating something with infinite...  Software applications  Wink

noice,

how much ram is that still using? I mean with the OS, tech wallet running etc etc

OS only: 50 MB out of 484
TechCoin Qt client running and staking: 109 MB out of 484
Techcoind daemon only: 103 MB out of 484

It's a great start for the first TECH hardware wallet (decent specs for staking), seeing all the new coins just launching now with hardware this & hardware that (talking about the idea for far to long & had to get something out there) Shocked Not really a shock though, technology is the fastest growing innovation & if we talk to much about ideas (someone else is bound to try them) Grin So we will have to start showing development every week, show the bitcointalk community that we are trying really hard gain over the still being release coins with fake promises  Wink If we waited for the ideal hardware wallet (still in development), would have been months behind the multiple coins jumping all over IoT devices...

Got myself this gaming monster from alienware mid January this year and its really been preforming well on mining Bitcoin

Is this an outdoor PC?
Hmmm..Hope he has a fire alarm Wink

Cheesy True that.

Right now, I and Mafort are the ones trying to take it over, if we can figure out how to do it and get the necessary assistance. If you can help, that would be very cool. I have one account, and my real name is out there in the forum Cheesy

My issue is time. I post on here quite a bit while waiting on things, but it's between tasks. I work about 60 hours a week right now. That should taper off in a couple of months, but that is somewhat unpredictable. I don't know Mafort's situation, we've just talked a few times about this. I'm not a large holder myself, I just like how well the code works on staking. And I'd like to get my feet wet with development work at some point. I guess we'll see where it goes.

If there was only more time in each day Cool

Testing, I am ok with your ideas of this coin being for fire safety, etc. We have to start somewhere. I am sorry you didn't have very good luck with previous individuals. As you can see, like biomech, my real name and email are posted and known. I believe we can do something here and would like to explore it. I have 2422 coins so not too many but enough to do something with. Anyway I like this coin alot as the wallet, staking, opening, all work great. Welll let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Don't get me wrong, Tom14Cat14 tried really hard to get this coin going. I'm sorry that he gave up on it, but with others switching coins & leaving it's tough to do anything. It's going to be 1000's of coins (applications) for people around the world to work on & possibly build something out of them. Each coin (application) needs a little something in each area or it will never get off the ground, but one or two people doing all the work is always the best way to start.  Undecided

OK TECHies... sorry but couldn't resist!

We have a group here that wants to do something special with this coin! What are some things that you would like to see in TECHcoin that you are not getting in other coins? or that you think would be a very cool addition.

I personally like the idea anonymous transactions, I do know that several coins are trying to accomplish that so it would probably be best to wait it out to see what works best? or maybe Tech could help facilitate?

I believe the most important thing is ease of use... anything to make it easy to use would be huge.

What do you think? whether you have Tech or not...

I have looked over a few of the anonymous transaction additions, but still have to test them first hand & go from there. Not really one for anon or tor though Undecided
